Kindly give us your own record. We are our own worst enemy.

No one knows why she killed herself okay,no one knows, let’s not say it’s because of a boy, that’s what the bloggers assume, she never said that, people are passing through hell bro and most times, they run to others for help or advice but they shun them off...
So...at 17 you never discussed a girl..stop lying bro
And you have never slept with a girl you are not married to?
It’s not about the age, sexual immorality is sexual immorality
U are not getting it. Are u? For every stage in life there should be a priority. It was reported she committed suicide. So lets leave it that way. @17 i never discussed with any girl. Take it or leave it. This girl is still an underage for God sake according to law. Now lemme lecture u how the parent failed. It shows the girl has been seeing guys before age 17 to have been so engrossed and lost in infatuation. Parents who are close to their children notice things prompty. The foundation of every family is important

Failed parenting,how?
Let’s just stop being hypocrites, you want to tell me that you never slept with a girl when that you were not married to,I bet you are still doing that now,and you are not a sign of failed parenting
She committed suicide,do u know what she has passed through? I bet not just this alone,do you know what runs through her mind?
Not everyone has life sorted out for him or her like you.For some of us,Every new day starts a new struggle and a new fear
17 yrs old killing herself cos of a guy is failed parenting. She isn't an adult yet. Relationship shouldnt be her priority at that age. Not to even think of suicide. It is my opinion and u are free to air urs. For ur information i am married and started having relationships at the age of 21 while in the university. At 17, u cant even discuss about a girl/boy not to talk of having one. This kind of news should be used as reference for teenagers like her, who choose to follow her steps. Thanks

If the lagos governor were a bus or tricycle driver, would he be happy to carry only 8 passengers in his bus with all his family responsibilities, bus maintenance and police tipping? I know the law is to keep lagos state safe while they transit but if them put in some measures like; subsidizing their fuel prices or providing state owned busses wetein go happen?
They(Nigeria govt) just make laws and want everybody to follow without caring what it would cost them..

Talk of insensitivity at its peak..
Even brt fare is now #250 for short trips

The rich and influencial get invited for questioning. Same thing during Davido's issues with Tagbo and DJ Olu.
If it was a random guy without influence, he will be detained till only God knows. Many are in kirikiri and other maximum prisons without fair hearing.
Until the poor and rich have equal hearing on issues like this before we make progress

I just wonder the kind of people we have in this country. We complained about our security officers asaults and politician greeds but we dont know it is the bad nature of the citizens that reflect in our public officers. Oppression and Arrogance is displayed in every sector of the country. May God help us

They shouldn't ask for their allowances and hazard allocation just to show patriotism? U should tell politicians to stop collecting new vehicles, wardrobe, newspaper, fuel and other allowances. I'm not a doctor or related to one but they are right on this
Education › Re: If You See Your Child With This Textbook What Will You Do? by Beedude(m): 2:18pm On May 03, 2020
Seems we have so many dull indomie generation kids here.
Teaching methodology, Syllabus might have change in recent years base on civilization and exposure but that doesn't mean the author is foolish or a dunce. Even up till date we see people with load on the head in our enviroment unless u aren't a Nigerian or African.
Though in present day, our kids are more exposed to the internet, dstv cartoons and other computerised digital tools at a very young age.
As at the time the book was written, carrying of LOADS on the HEAD was a NORM. If u are above 30yrs u will understand

If head is used for thinking, what is the brain used for?
We need to understand how learning works at the elementary level before criticising any thing we see.
When we were in the nursery school, we can easily work with basic addition and subtraction, e.g, 1 + 2 = 3. 2 - 1 = 1.
But when it comes to subtraction like 1-2, they taught us it is impossible, until we got to JSS1 Where we learnt about number line.

In Elementary classes, we were taught that there are 5 sense organs, there are 3 states of matter.
We were also taught that the sun is the centre of our solar system and it doesn't move.
We all know now that those things are incorrect, but the basic purpose is just to give us the idea of what those things are.
If that textbook is written for Nursery or Primary 1 students, then ai don't see any thing wrong with that. By the time they get to higher classes, they'll learn about more functions of the head
You are a gr8 teacher.

Your statement is like painting everyone with the same brush and it's not good. In as much as there are 'social media fake givers" I still believe that there are genuine people that gives secretly that u and I don't know; people with no intentions to be praised or anything just from their hearts.

Generalising what you have said makes it look stereotypical and its not fair on those few or more that gives with good intentions..
But generalising everyone in Ikorodu is fair ? Ikorodu is one of the biggest LGA in Lag. She should have stated the area in Ikorodu. Several giveaways has been done during this lockdown and was successful. Every area in Nigeria has bad and good people residing there. We should all be careful when we generalise people base on location, tribe or religion. Thanks

I surely know there will be a hike in the cost of transportation. If BRT can increase tfare it means danfo cant be regulated. So many things wont make this relaxed lockdown work if we can be sincere with ourselves. People are broke due to 1month + lockdown, employers are thinking of paycut and retrenchment as well. Why must it always be the masses that will bear the brunt of a failed nation? The only solution to this would have been;
1. Continue lockdown 2. Provide Good Palliatives
3. Mass testing and tracing.

OUR LEADERS ARE ALWAYS ABSCONDING FROM THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES.

Lord have mercy.

Listen, in US, Malaysia, Dubai, China.....these people have buildings reaching up into the clouds. They never collapse.

Why do we build 4 storey and 10 storey structure and they are all collapsing two per month?

What the fvck is going on?
Only one answer - GREED. Until we remove this from our lives, it shall never be well with the country no matter how prayerful we are.

Within 3 days people wont keep to all those guidelines again. I trust lagosians. Even lockdown wasnt strictly observed. A danfo driver will never accept 60% loading unless he double the tfare. And most people prefer an overloaded bus just to pay the usual fare. So many loopholes here.

The best solution would have been:
1. Lockdown for 1month minimum
2. Standard palliatives
3. Mass testing
4. Tracing and Treatment.

We are on a long thing. The 2nd lockdown will be indefinite if a cure or vaccine isnt discovered asap.

It's true that as you age your organs might become weaker and certain muscles might atrophy.

Yet I say, lots of Europeans take good care of themselves such that they actually hit their peak closer to 50.

The number of deaths from Covid-19 actually mask the fact that a large number, Italy for instance, were much older than 80.

Italy has the oldest mass of people in Europe.
We are on same page. Ailment like HBP, Cardiac arrest, Postrate Cancer, Stroke e.t.c are hard to see in young people. Although, atimes it is the accumulation of what the body has passed thru btw age 20-40yrs. Hence, the % of people with one ailment or the other is higher after 50yrs.

Good diet and regular exercise could limit that.
Not only in Nigeria.

It could limit but the older u become, the weaker ur internal organs and immune. The ages of those who died of covid-19 is just a proof

You are a businessman not a school owner. EDUCATION IS ALWAYS A PRIORITY, EVEN IN WARTIME. What the heck are you saying. Education should never, ever, ever stop. Education is life. Education is a competitive resource. The moment I know more, faster, earlier than you, you will remain at a competitive disadvantage almost forever. Just don't say that. Ever.
I am a realist. I never said EDUCATION should stop. It is only someone that has EATEN that can think of EDUCATION. 3rd term is pending. Assist and engage ur students on social platforms in whatever way u can. We all need help. Money isnt everything. I have parents who dont owe school fees but needed support to feed during this lockdown which i assisted with the little foodstuffs i could spare. Times are had. After survival comes education. A living dog is better than a dead lion

It isnt a priority at the moment. Whatever u like u can call me. I have been teaching since 2006 before owning a school. I wrote how i was able to assist the students and parents from home. Starting a new term wont work my friend cos most parent can not afford to pay the fees or bear the cost of running school online. Morever, student below age 4 wont really key into it. Feeding and survival are priorities of the parents before education of their wards. Lets just do the little we can as school owners and not add burden to their finances. Times are hard. Even when lockdown is over debtors will increase.
