ga2017:U dey mind them. The money donated isnt up to what we are losing at the moment. Stealing of money has been happening since the time of Lord Luggard without the need for lockdown. No be their fault anyway. Our politicians made them that way. |
GOB25:Add me 08131389227 . Thanks |
bonnyhope:Post a link of how he has helped his people during this pandemic period and i will delete my post. The problem with u is that u dont understand the gimmicks of our politicians. Don't let anyone fool u. None will fight for the masses without personal gains. They are all in one accord when money and bonus is being shared. But will shout to the masses when they have issues or misuderstanding and try to appeal to the masses mercy. I would rather DIE than trust naija politicians. |
bonnyhope:Dino's truth is laced with hypocrisy. He was a former law maker, he made a lot of fortune, he has one of the ten most expensive house in Nigeria. So what has he contributed to his immediate environment during this period? Our govt failed and we are all aware but he isn't better off and now isnt the time to score cheap marks. If he can't help anyone let him remain silent |
Romanoff:U took this from my mouth. Soon he will politicise things without doing anything to help the people he represented when he was a Senator |
Avalancheman:My business has been drastically affected also. But allowing student to stay at home and adult going out wont curb the spread atall. The adult can still infect the children at home. What we need is good pallatives from the govt pending when lockdown will be over. |
PureGoldh:U still dont get it. It is only the Governor of ur state or other public figure that can refute this claim since they have contacts of L.G Chairman, councilors, l.c.d.a and others at the grass root level. U cant just rely on whatsapp status or facebook for news as there are millions of people in ENUGU who dont have access to internet. Still our government no try for us atall. But we also need to change the way we view things if we dont wanna produce someone like BUHARI in future |
PureGoldh:Our leaders reflect who we are as a people. Imagine what u just wrote. U are in ENUGU and u can boldly say no household in the whole state has been paid. This was how LIA MUHAMMED started his lying techniques too. Enugu isnt a street for u to knw what is happening in every LGA. Always talk for urself as u cant defend what u just wrote. We have never been blessed with good leaders .Thanks |
Mission Impossible. No 3k soup will last for 2 days self. Just buy palm oil 3k. It will last u till next month if rationed properly |
Josephamstrong1:U mentioned me. Hence the reason for quoting u. I paid my staffs fully for MARCH despite the fact that work ended on 20th. I also have target for the end of MARCH for some parents to balance up (350k) but nothing is forthcoming till date. If parents dont resume back to work how do i recoup my money to pay them for APRIL? What i have on me at the moment cant even pay 3 staffs out of 9 staffs working for me. On a good day some reliable parents pay during holiday but thats not even possible at the moment. If the lockdown continue till MAY,do u still expect me to keep paying? With which money? My plan is to call them for meeting nd we find a way out together.5 of them have been with me for 3yrs. It means i'm not heartless. We all need help atm |
Igbaguru:Not all coy have the financial backup of banks. And banks still make money thru mobile transfer, pos services ,atm services and others. Though they are still affected. But think of a man selling electronics at oshodi or someone who is a food vendor with workers. For some employers, sales for 1 week goes to salary expenses, week 2 goes to stock of item sold, week 3 goes for other running cost, while week 4 could be the profit for the month. Now imagine a business like this. How will the employer cope with 6weeks of lockdown? Most business owners already have HBP as we speak cos the future isn't bright. These are trying times for everybody. We will all come out stronger. GOD HELP US ALL |
ONNYX:LOLZ |
ONNYX:People that cant run a small grocery shop successfully will be bringing theories from books written by a white man without considering the environment such business operates. Now i see why the rate of unemployment is high in this country. An average graduate just wanna be employed and collect paycheck at the end of the month. Such mentality will further increase the rate of unemployment after this pandemic |
stagger:So many workers in NIGERIA only care about their salary. They dont care if the company fold up or go bankrupt. They believe its not their business. Staffs will always calculate ur income but wont deduct ur cost of running the business. This is the period where enterprenuers sitdown and analyse how to make the business survive after the lockdown. Various comments here sound funny. A lady advice others to resign after this month if a coy didnt pay. Will she employ them ? If JUVE and BARCA players could take paycut or salary postponement, if coy in countries like USA, UK, SPAIN can terminate workers appointment cos of salary. I wonder how they expect a small business owner to get cash to pay when business is lockdown |
Josephamstrong1:U also forgot some parents haven't fully paid before schools were lockdown last month. Fact is u cant judge a situation u aren't in. Or are u telling me all students in private school paid fully before lockdown? Financial capability of every business will be tested at this time. We have big school with big financial backup, many years in the business, high bankroll etc. We cant compare them to a school that started just few yrs ago and still struggling to survive its teething years before this pandemic distrupt everything. Different strokes for different folks. I just believe employers and employees need to sit and have a solid discussion and understanding. Let every employer be sincere with what he can do and employees reason and understand. |
4four:This just the first step. If lockdown continue after April what do you think will happen in May? Either they stop paying contract workers or paycut for full staffs as well. I guess ur employers have a very solid financial backup to be able to do that. Setting up a one man business in Nigeria is one of the hardest thing to achieve. |
Squillaci:Did u read about JUVENTUS (salary suspended for 3months and be paid installmentally ?) and BARCA ( 70% paycut for all playing staffs both football and basketball players just to be able to pay the non playing staffs?). These are clubs wt high revenues. This time calls for sacrifice as egungun don enter express already. When there is no input, output will be drastically affected. No one saw this coming. Both employers and employees are in this together and now is the time to support ur employer who have never let u down with salary issues in the past. Times are hard for private business owners out there. They may look big in your eyes but are actually sweating |
SaintLucia:If lockdown dont stop this month, even banks will start thinking of paycut or layoff of contract staff. Only government workers are safe as payment may be owed but will eventually be paid as arrears come what may. |
MrHighSea:Some people actually tot starting and running a private business is easy. All businesses hv been affected. But we shuld know some companies are bigger than others.U cant give what u dont av. Most companies are counting losses at the moment. If big futball clubs like Juve and Barca can suspend payment of players pay or introduce paycut, i dont know what is always wrong with Nigerians. Every orgnsatn isnt havin it easy. Now is d time to knw a selfish/considerate worker |
xana101:Good day to u. Any pain reliever u can recommend for kidney stone? |
blazesam:For one person? Haba! |
NigeriaB:Good day to u. Do u know any pain reliever that could be used for kidney stone pain. Lockdown scattered things |
As a business owner, last month salary was even hard kind of. But payment of APRIL will be harder. Only big businesses can cope for this month, if lockdown dont end this month even big companies will think about paycut. Its simple. U cant give what u dont have |
God catch pastor ![]() |
Interesting. |
Marry her. U are good together |
Romanoff:Madam, even if a man bears a woman surname it doest mean she will be faithful or there will be happiness in the union. Marriage isnt a must. U cant eat ur cake and have it. Kindly answer this question sincerely : Are u using ur dad's surname or u mum's surname? Your answer will determine if we can have a conversation |
rtdCivilservant:We are NIGERIANS for God sake. If a woman isn't ready to accept a man's name let her remain single. Marriage isnt a must. We have millions of women ready to take a man's name at any given chance. And do u expect the children to also take my wife's surname? It can never work |
