I have always said it that nigerian roads, and drivers are just a disaster waiting to happen, Today its a tanker loaded with petrol falling inside a pot hole and exploding roasting people alive, tommorow it is a trailer with containers falling in a pothole and the containers crushing innoocent bystanders or commuters. This govt has failed us what a calamity !!

- Govt should stop indirectly killing innocent nigerians by repairing all the roads

-Govt should make a compulsory bi yearly break test for all vehicles before particulars are issued

- Ban all tankers from driving through the inner cities except they are going to deliver fuel. Creat bi passes for them infact relocate all fuel depots to outskirts of the city (the one in apapa is a big head ache)

- Drivers should stop drinking alkohol, smoking weed and driving at break neck speed enough lives has been lost.

Like they say it is not proper to speak ill of the dead,but i must state that it was foolhardy for the policeman to have approached the said package without the necessary protective gears(if NP has any)and even try to detonate a BOMB with bare hands and peeking into the package, THAT WAS THE DUMBEST ACT EVER,

And for the video,whoever recorded this set off that bomb by remote,I stand to be corrected though,but the way the recording shifted when it was about to go off explains when the controller depressed the trigger or remote of the bomb.

This situation is so sad, our police force is so badly equiped to detonate bombs. With the billions budgeted for the ministry of defence, and the rate at which bombs are blowing up every day, one would expect that the police force will be better equiped with robotic bomb detonators, or better protective bomb detonating clothings .

The policeman had the chance to cheat death but acted very stupidly. I noticed that the metal detector in his hand made a beeping sound thats when he should have run away immediately that way he should have survived but he was trying to dismantle a suspected bomb without any form of protective clothing very stupid.

I suspect that the man that filmed this video, was the same person that detonated the bomb. Notice the way the camera shifted upward b4 the explosion, so that he could detonated the bomb this is so sad. death to boko haram!!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, just as far as the permit from the ministry is given, With good and alternative road diversions signs being used. whereby boldly inscribed road  diversion  signs to direct the car drivers where to follow are placed to ease the discomfort of the road users.
