@ bellong, how is Murray an overhyped player? I smell typical bad belle for the Brits
He is overhype because the Brits always try too hard to put him in the class of FedEx, Nadal and Djoker. He is not in their class nor anywhere near. One thing I like about his game is that he can pick service well.

I hope he wins up to 4-5 GS before he drops the racket.

This is for your fiancé to handle. This is the point he needs to show his "manly" qualities needed to head the home.

None of us here can help you with it but him.

Cos the only match i watched till the end was Andy murray I think it was Wimbledon final in 2013. Oh boy that thing stretched on oh, kai that when I knew tennis no easy wetin sef. I didnt understand the game but the tension in Britain then sef hook me.
Murray... Overhyped player.... He was taught a lesson in tennis by the king of the game on Friday... grin

For a start, the score is counted like this..

0-0 is called Love - Love.

The counting is in this order...

15, 30, 40 and Game.

At 40-40, it is deuce. On deuce, the counting is Advantage and game (two match points)

The male play for best of five sets while the female play for best of three sets.

One set has at least 6 games (that is why you see final score as 6-4, 6-1, 7-5, etc) depending.

One game is read in the order of my opening explanation.. 15-0, 30-0, 40-0, game (one game)

E.g of I am playing with you, if I win a game, it is 1-0, till probably I have a two game advantage over you at 6-4, of 7-5. If it gets to 6-6 in a set, the score is counted like 1-0,2-0,3-0,4-0 for a best of 7.

At the completion of a full game, like 6-4, that makes a set. Then you start to play for another set.

The final is tomorrow between Federer and Novak by 2pm. Watch it and follow through with my explanation, you will understand fully.

Lastly, when serving, you serve across court and must fall in the small quadrant box of your opponent across you.

For singles, you play only inside the drawn line, if it falls in the second line, it is out. The second long line on the court is for doubles.

I don't think anybody should marry anyone you don't know full details about.

The essence of courtship is to find a unique strategy in understanding and unraveling the true heart of a potential spouse. In this age that keeping the past a secret is the norm, at least it was championed here, it falls on everybody to dig deep into a potential spouse in order to have a detailed information about him/her.

Like I always advise, if you don't know everything about your potential spouse, don't marry him/her. You must have all the information, both past and present including future plans sef, to make a free and informed decision about the relationship.

One thing I have discovered over the years is that we can truly know someone during courtship if we are not blinded by emotions. No one ca n pretend for long, there is something that gives him/her away.

113. First three-story building in Lagos (Odunfa street), constructed in 1914.
Cc:Ishilove
I grew up on this street in the Island. We came back from church on a Sunday in November 1989 to meet the building in fire. A pregnant woman jumped from the third floor to escape the inferno. She sustained serious injury as she landed on a pointed stuff. Can't remember if she survived.

It took the men of the fire service about two weeks to completely extinguish that fire. We used to call that building "Ile Andrew". After the fire, it became our table tennis arena.

On this same street at no 79, Odunfa was the house Oyekan lived before becoming the Oba of Lagos.

Oh.. How I miss that street.

hello guys, pls help me out.....after obtaining a suitable qualification assessment can i go straight to Expression of interest since i dont have any work experience to b assessed?
You have to write English test and make 60points for subclass 189 or at least 55points for subclass 190.

Try to get a 20point score band in the English exam you write to give you a better advantage in making the minimum point without work experience.

Meanwhile, all the assessing authorities require at least one year work experience to qualify for assessment. Some require more.

When next he is disturbing with his loud music, tell your neighbour friend to call the police on him. When he gets questioned by the police, nobody will tell him to slow it down.

Anytime he leaves his clothes and dishes, call his attention to it. Ask him to do his dishes and clothes if he can't help with stuff in the house.

I don't buy the idea of in-law turning anyone to a slave. When he gets a part time job, encourage your husband to let him get his own place so he understand what paying bills mean.

Your moniker though... cheesy

Firstly marriage is hard work! Courtship is the easy part once the roman and honeymoon period end the real work begins. Some people mask their true selves until a little later in the marriage . Some people will tell you there must have sign when you were dating etc of their true character but believe me some people are extraordinary actors!1

1. Make sure that you are friends above all else! You have to LIKE the person you are with and have a genuine friendship and common interest otherwise when the crazy sex wears of and you cannot Co exist as friends then you have a problem.

2. Make sure you in laws like and accept you. In African marriages you marry the whole family! My marriage was destroyed 50% by the fact that my in laws hated me even before they met me because of where I am from! I should have walked away at that point2 because they wanted my husband to marry someone else but I naively thought our love could conquer all! How wrong was I
The bold 2 is the red flag you missed. In courtship, people don't pay attention to things that really matter but to mundane things because of emotions.

@Topic, best things in life happen when we least expect them. Be committed to your daily activities. Don't be anxious or desperate in finding a man. You will be found when the time comes and age is still on your side.. No worries

@ bolded, when the law gives them opportunity, men take advantage of it.
Men are not petty, percentage of those that will take advantage will be inconsequential to that of the other gender.

Take Nigeria for example, have you not heard of women being thrown out of their husbands house for another woman after struggling with their husband?
I have heard very few cases. How many of such cases do we have to conclude it is typical behaviour of all men?

Have you not heard of women whose in-laws took everything she and her husband ever worked for?
95% of the time, it is the female in those families behind the take over..

Have you not heard of men who made sure the mother of their kids are not able to see her own kids?
I have no known personal experience of this except in the movies.

The problem is that some of our Nigerian men cannot take what they give.
This is human deficiency and not gender specific.

In Nigeria everyday, women suffer these things. When women like us speak up, we are called names.
What do you suffer? Are you currently suffering "these things"?

What you men are doing in this thread is not different from what women who fight for equality are doing.
If denying the father from being part of his children's lives is what you called equality, that equality is nothing more than wickedness

How many times have you all tried to do something about the injustice women face.
I don't address injustice to specific gender but to humanity in general.

If this story is true then it's not fair and unfortunate and I hope something is done about it.
Thanks for acknowledging this...

However I would expect that men might use these type of stories to somehow figure out what women pass through and what we are fighting for
I don't understand this part. What do women pass through? If asked, you all are of the opinion your fathers, brothers, male relatives and husbands are all wonderful men. Where do you all get to "pass through" something? Please tell

Surprisingly (or maybe not really surprised) most of you still don't seem to understand that this is essentially what some women are passing through in Nigeria.
What is the meaning of this last statement? That women in Nigeria are denied seeing their children while still paying alimony?
