Adufemi,

Good... Good...... Very good.

Your boy is smart. Can you see what I was trying to prevent? He already knew you weren't happy and was absorbing his dad's actions subconsciously.

I wish you well in all your endeavour. May you find happiness and marital fulfillment again.

Yes, there is. It is the Spirit of the bottle. The spirit takes over whosoever is possessed of it by acting irrationally.
I guess the violence wouldn't stop as long as he keeps drinking himself to lose his senses.

He needs help from breaking the addiction. If not, I am afraid that it will continue till someone is seriously injured.

Hi e-family,

After so much waiting, i'm pleased to inform you of my positive outcome from Engineers Australia. I look forward to lodging my EOI in July or August. Cheers
Why not do it immediately? Do you have something holding you back?

manmeta:
EA accepts any of the two. Go for the general module. Easier to ace than academic.
Some people like myself may find the academics easier to pass than the General test.
I usually don't do well writing an informal letter. Probably he is i n that category.

If a man cannot do "these things", he can't also hire someone to help out with them?

Tell the interviewer next time that you believe he/she already know your name from your resume. That the question of talking about yourself is to inform him of what he/she doesn't know about you not contained in the resume.

However, that doesn't stop you from saying your name in your opening statement before going the route explained.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Best Way To Answer This Interview: Tell Me About Yourself by bellong:
The question is not for you to answer what you think but what the interviewer want.

The single most important strategy in job hunting- You want to be selling what the buyer is buying: The key to all successful interview is to match your qualifications/skills to what the interviewer/recruiter is looking for.

You should only talk about some of your career accomplishments and hobbies related to the job you are applying for.

Start with the present and tell why you are well qualified for the position. Instead of giving a chronological life history, focus only on your strengths and how they relate to the role/position advertised.

Connect your abilities to the employer's requirements. Do not assume that the employer will do it for you.

Example of a good answer...

I'm really energetic and a great communicator. Working in sales for 3 years helped me build confidence, and taught me the importance of customer loyalty. I launched a company newsletter, which helped us build on our existing relationships and create new ones. Because of this, we ended up with an increased revenue of 15% over 8 months. My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on my reputation for following through and meeting deadlines. When I commit to doing something, I make sure it gets done, and on time.

The example described your strength, what you can bring or offer the company and why they should hire you. In essence, tell me about yourself is referring to "sell us yourself or proof to us why we should hire you". They don't need your life history, it is already on your resume.

What do you mean by 'if her game is tight'? If it's the sex thing then no, i don't think so. If hubby really was the one in that video then it's possible he was having a last minute adventure before taking the ultimate step of "I do."
I think she' ll be making a mistake to leave the marriage... If the story is true.
The decision to leave or stay is hers. She alone will bear the consequences of her decision, either good or bad.

My reservation about it, if true, is how she is ranting without even attempting to address the situation.

If I were to pick holes in her story, I would say that she knew what she was getting into but didn't believe it could go to the extent of making porn movie out of it.

She chose to marry him and she should bear the consequence of her decision.

I am just pissed at her not addressing the issue than venting on social media as if we were there when the husband was eating foreign apples. If this is her own way of solving problem, I guess she has long way to go.

You know we Nigerian subservient wives have to plot and weakly present our case to the husband after serving him a whopping meal. You don't just go and 'confront a man.' cheesy I just hope she does not channel the anger to the housemaid or gateman in the meantime.
Yes, I am also of the opinion of presenting her case with wisdom and tact. However, I do not subscribe to the lamentations and name calling of the ladies involved. It is her husband that she should be concerned about not the ladies who were only on hire. She even called her husband a "bastard" as if she doesn't know the meaning of the word.

@bolded, I hope so too.

If divorce is your only option, goodluck to you.

My own phobia is worse. Am yet to fix a date since feb when he proposed. I rather die single dan spend a min pretending to be married.
Why bother be in a relationship at all? If you are afraid of marriage, remain single, it is that easy. No need of lamenting or crying foul.

Why be in a relationship?

Oga,

Buy a washing machine. No matter how bad phcn is, they will at least give power once in the week except your transformer has blown like ours cheesy cheesy

You didn't see that she was doing all those stuff to win you and keep you. Now that she is married, the game has changed. It is called beating them to their game.

Help your wife with some house chores, at least you shouldn't be tired when you return from work, you are a civil servant. She on the other hand a teacher, who still have to prepare lesson notes, revise what to teach students.

In summary, be considerate.
Family › Re: My God! My God!! Who Have I Married?? by bellong: 11:21pm On Jun 20, 2015
Brownie10,

Most people doubting your story is because of how articulate and we'll written the opening post is. You started off as if you are wrting for a literature contest. It doesn't contain signs from a truly traumatised heart.

Since you insist it is true, I want to believe you.

I wouldn't say you shouldn't be expressive of your emotions, you have every right to it. But telling your mum as the first step is a big NO. Adults resolve issues among themselves and not running to mama for ideas. You have not taken any reasonable steps to iron this out but your first thought is to tell your mum. Sister, it is wrong move. You are married and no longer mama's baby.

I don't know your husband, so I cannot give any reason why he did what he did. I also do not understand why he recorded the video. If is amazing except he stares for porn.

What can you do? The only way to deal with it is to deal with it. Cries wouldn't solve the problem. Pity party wouldn't either. I wouldn't join anybody to call your husband names though I do not support his actions. You are only two months old in marriage.

Find out when and why he did it. Forget the date stamped on the video, the device's date at the time of recording could be wrong.

Take the laptop to where he is lying, play the video for him and go lock yourself in the room. You need not say anything, he will come to meet you in the room to give his reasons (which could be full of lies). If you cannot be calm in handling it today, tell him you will talk about it when your mind is settled.

It is not yet time to start involving third party in your home. Not yet to start shaming your husband. If you shame him and you both resolve this issue amicably to live together after, what will then be your gain.

His action is bad but the situation is not what cannot be salvaged. It is not time to listen to divorce him stories.

I wish you well.
