At the risk of derailing the thread, Olorunniwo M. (Geophysics) taught in his dept aince inception. That's more than 30 years ago. (except you are 50+ grin )
Probably u were referring to the period he was away on extended leave. He's my grand uncle by the way (if there's any such thing). All the best bro.
Yeah.. I was referring to when he returned from his long term sabbatical. The politics in the department forced him to go for a long time according to rumours and gist.

That's great news! Did you also add additional qualification or just your 1st Degree? I know of someone that did Geology from Uni Benin that got negative assessment etc.
Only my BSc.

I wouldn't blame them completely as some of my lecturers still fault the curriculum of some geology departments especially that of UNIPORT. cheesy

I know Geologist is on the CSOL list, which means you can either be sponsored by a state, regional area, employer or family. The first thing however is to determine if your occupation cum your qualification will receive positive assessment. How many years did you spend in the University? If you did a 4-year degree, you won't get positive assessment from VETASSES because they equate Nigerian 4-year degree to Australian 3years Associate Degree which is less than the minimum requirement for Geology here.. However, if you did a 5-year degree, then you will get positive assessment.
He can get a positive assessment depending on where he studied his geology. OAU is a four year geology degree and I got a positive assessment.

I think they have some selected universities that they treat their four year degree to be equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree.

Okay, lemme see... some people dey talk say if oga waka, im girlfriend dey blameless. Others dey talk say blame oga + girlfriend. Some dey even gist say madam must to hold oga's wrapper with, "you go kill me today".

Damiso, Burntpalace - Oya translate into Yoruba. smiley smiley

Edwife and Cococandy - do the Igbo version. smiley cheesy
OK.. So na John Thomas una dey talk about... I see

If oga waka, no be anybody's fault but him because he wan waka.

Although, some wives are so bad that they pushed their husbands beyond his elastic limit to seek succour outside.

The case is not a straightforward issue. Life is not always in black and white. Every case must be addressed with its peculiarity and detail.

Hello to my tennis buddy Mr Bellong!
Bukatyne,

Thanks for the "gossip"... cheesy

Welcome back Ile, I thought Coogar arranged snipers for you, been looking for how to arrest him.. cheesy

Efe, the moniker may need to proof she is Ile but her " Tennis buddy" line to me sounds convincing. She is the only one that calls me that.

Bukatyne, your "gossip" resurrected the handle, I guess.

Hay pals anyone in Wollongong? It's really frustrating here having nobody to talk to.
Are you living in isolation there? Are there no humans you can talk to?

Make friends with people of other race, culture and gender, then you wouldn't be bored.

He is going through financial mess?

Why did he suddenly become this bad?

How long did you guys court?

Did you do something to hurt him in the past that he refused to forgive?

When it comes to breaking things, my advice is to keep your valuables from his reach before he destroys everything worthwhile in your house.

I think he needs the service of a shrink to manage his anger. He is still not get grown and shouldn't have married if he breaks things when angry.

For temporary measure, try not to do anything to upset him lest he breaks your head. Your life is important sis.

DrDele,

I want to believe that inability to submit all required documents from authorities concerned is the biggest block that can hinder registration.

Get all the required documents on time and meet the English requirement also. It will be fine.

You can consider writing your medical exam by the sides.

Goodluck

If it is a one man show/leadership church, write a letter to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in your locality, explain your situation and request their intervention.

Secondly, inform his family members.

Thirdly, if you are up to the task, rub palms of the men in black and take them to arrest him during one of his services. Accuse him of kidnapping, disruption to family coexistence, conspiracy and treasonable felony against your person... cheesy

Yes BUT it is not enough to ask for rights. No rights without responsibilities. Fair enough!
Thank you for this...

Jubril Sarah had contested for president twice, how many women supported her?

A female Professor contested in the last election, 85% of those that supported and campaigned for her were men yet these females come here to complain.

Ask them what have they ever done to fight this discrimination other come online for cyber war.

Until women in Nigeria and diaspora take themselves seriously, there is nothing the men can do to help them. This is the 21st century, they have all the resources and law to fight discrimination.
