Manweysabi: I added my ijmb result Does it contain the course content and description. I think you can appeal the decision. Alternatively, you can find an occupation the associate degree can fit into and go for it. It doesn't matter if you come in as an associate, you can always get a job you want in your field of expertise. |

Manweysabi: My degree (Bsc. Economics) is not upto 5 years and therefore, they equate it to an associate degree.
I spent only 3 years in school, cos I was admitted via direct entry (IJMB) Did you add the ijmb syllabus? |

Diplomaticbeing: I have this lady who's illusory know-all nay too clever by half and flawless, rude (ready to disparage one in public for any act one exhibits which she may assumes incorrect due to her uninformed knowledge on such matter), ungrateful (that is when your act of kindness/goodwill toward her is below her expectation - on the contrary, I for one, I hold the principle of "accept" not "expect" anything from anyone, so I believe in giving than in receiving), manipulative, boisterous, pessimistic and sense of entitlement.
However, she possesses the following good traits: caring, swing understanding, feels happy when around one physically or otherwise, this is to she is pleased to have one in her life (could this mean that she is truly in love with one as she has always claimed), knowledgeable above average level. Someone with such negative traits isn't worth a life journey with. She will find her like. Can two walk together except they agree? |

demygod: To show how gullible women can be. How they are easily moved by compliments about their looks and persona and how con' artists/playboys/fraudsters exploit this weakness to their advantage. You could easily picture Babe3 blushing when he was complimenting her and even you would know that's her weakness.
She loved the attention and he fed her vanity to his advantage. Get it now? An average person with brain knows that there will always be gullible people on earth. You don't need to post comments to proof anything. You really get time to be digging old posts. |

What you need now is to refocus your energy on the next step and way forward. |

Your best bet is to go to the website of your assessing authority for further information. Nevertheless, if your diploma has all the required courses and units, I don't think doing it as part time will hinder a positive assessment. They have no issue with the method of study but the course content. |

Can those from the South-East please educate me about female genital mutilation in the region?
I read a news today of someone appealing to Australian court to grant him leave to stay in Australia on the ground that if he goes back to Nigeria, his 10yr old daughter will be forced to be mutilated.
How true is this? I have not heard something like it before. |

JustTara: Is this so hard to get? She's been dating him, she knows his financial status, she accepted his proposal, she tool him to meet her parents, the parents refuses cause his poor. Does it sound like she rejected him? Her parents did not her so don't tell him to go look for a ‘better' girl. Phrasing it that way makes it seem like it's her fault. You don't need the epistle. Who has castigated the girl here? There's nothing the girl can do if the parents insist. And if you comprehended and read in context, "better girl" here is one with reasonable parents. No matter how good a person is if the parents are bad, it is a NO. |

mizznkem: Good day all. I'm new to this section. Has anyone applied for 189 visa as a Solicitor and succeeded? If yes, how did you get your assessment done? What is the best way for a Nigerian trained Lawyer with 10yrs post call experience migrate to Australia with hubby and kids? You will first be registered with one of the States' bar association and be called to the bar before submitting an expression of interest. That will take you about one -two hears as you will be asked to take some law courses from Any Australian university. Let your spouse be the principal applicant if he/she is not a lawyer. |

bukatyne: Interesting thread.
OP, do What you feel is best for you.
Bellong, TV01, etc. your opinion is needed on this thread.
I have my reasons. Is there anything to contribute to her quest? The opening sentence is a give away of a deep underlying problems between them "hubby has been acting funny of late".. Meaning, he wasn't like that prior to acting funny of late. I do not encourage divorce as the first point of call in a marital crisis. Yes, she could be distraught at her finding but it doesn't give her the right to bring the case to a court of public opinion without letting the accused know his offence. In law, her case would be thrown out for not following due process. I could wager my pension that she can't win this case if she goes straight to divorce proceedings. The presiding judge will ask efforts they have made at resolution before arriving at divorce. She needs to discuss with her husband. Her subsequent post shows that the husband is not totally irresponsible except for this new found hobby in drilling different artesian wells.. |
