send a paid mail. If a decision has not been made, there’s nothing you can do.. if you not able to wait then fill the withdrawal application and withdraw it

Thank you so much for your response. I just did , and this is the feedback I received.

Hello All,

Please I need advice on how to challenge UKVI for my mum’s visa. She has applied since 9th of June and she’s yet to get a decision. My dad applied a week after her, but got his visa early September.

This delay is really concerning . Both were meant to come for my graduation in July. At this point , I just want them to make a decision and release her passport as I’m due to give birth soon and I want her to come for a while . Even if it means applying for another visitor’s visa.

I sent a mail on her behalf and was meant to be contacted within 20 working days , still nothing .

Please what else can we do ? Any advise will be appreciated.

Thank you

I write this with a bitter heart after what I have passed through in almost 2 weeks now. This should also serve as a warning..
When your online visa transaction payment fails and you are still debited without value provided by PAGA/FLUTTERWAVE/GTB , forget that money.. it is gone.
These 3 criminals are worse than the present govt in Nigeria.
Thieves = Paga, Flutterwave and Guaranty Trust Bank.

I can imagine what you are going through .

Paga and flutterwaves needs to confirm to your bank that the transaction failed, they can also credit your Paga wallet/bank account directly .

If all means of resolution fails , please go to Paga office at Yaba (3rd floor ,176 Herbert Macaulay way)

I need the amount for a 2year Msc visa application as shown on the visa application site.

And the recent exchange rate on Paga Naira to Dollar.

Please help me ooo

Hello , I paid via paga yesterday for a 1 year program.

IHS fee was 606 dollars , while visa fee was 469 Dollars.

The exchange rate on paga is really similar to Oanda’s rate if not the same.

Hello my people!

I give glory to God for his mercies and faithfulness.
After two US denials last year and one Canadian denial in 2018, (all study visas), UK has opened their doors and I'm more than glad to walk through them.

Application Sep 18
Biometrics Sep 28
Decision mail Oct 16
Visa approval/Collection of passport Oct 19
Na travel date I dey plan so.

I want to profusely thank all Nairaland members on this thread, especially those who painstakingly and selflessly answer others' queries and guide them on this journey, (special thanks to Mimilyrics), you guys are the best. You don't know what you do for us. I came in here so dejected and confused but you put me through and now, I'm headed to the next phase of my life at the University of Sussex. May God bless you all.
I have mixed feelings right now especially with what happened to our brothers and sisters in Lagos yesterday. It's sad that we have to leave our country in this sorry state even though temporarily. Please let us continue to pray for Nigeria wherever we are or find ourselves. This is our home.

Goodluck to everyone still applying. Don't let anything discourage you whether age or degree or previous visa denials or whatever, dare to go for your dreams and God will make a way. If you need further assistance, please contact the UKEAS offices. They are very helpful as well.

Congratulations, all the best

Good day All,

I tried paying with my bank card via PAGA for my IHS fee , the transaction failed but I was debited . Has anyone experienced this before? How long did the reversal take?
Also, how else can I go about this ? Should I fund the Paga account directly? My account had been upgraded to the highest Tier

9 September is fine. You can even submit an account that shows no transactions whatsoever, as long as it covers the 28 days and the opening and closing balances fall within the required amounts.

Thank you so much

Please I need a clarification regarding Statement of account.

Does the statement start counting the next day I deposit the proof of fund or visa officer starts counting from the first activity on the statement?

I deposited my proof of fund on 8th September and I printed statement from September 9 to October 8 on the 8th. My school has issued me CAS and given go ahead to use this statement .

However i just received a conflicting information from someone else that the statement is not up To 28 days as the visa officer will start counting from September 17th which is the first transaction showing on my account .

Please I am about applying for visa and I don’t want to make mistakes.

Good day ,

Please I need your advice , my school is in Bristol.

I’m currently filling my visa application and I’m at the point where I’m being asked if I know where I will stay in Uk? I have someone in Bristol , who I plan to stay with for a week or 2 , before I get an apartment. But I plan on quarantining in London at a friend’s.

Should I include both addresses in my visa application or I should leave it blank ?

Also, is the paga payment option is available for IHS payment and Visa fee?

I will appreciate your response.

Thank you all

Please I am looking for a bank that doesn’t take long to remit funds to the school.

Gtbank seems like they will take time. I have to discuss with my account manager first before anything can begin and I have to go to the bank twice to fill 2 different forms. Their drama is too much. Guys help me out with an alternative bank.

Please who has used fidelity bank or standard chartered bank or any other bank.

How long was the processing time and what was the rate.

Use Access Bank, my school got my fees the next day

Good evening Guys,
Please I received offers from Glasgow Caledonian University and university of Greenwich both for MBA programs. I am drawn to both schools and can’t seem to make up my mind.

The program at GCU is without work placement while the Uni Of Greenwich course is with placement . The aim of applying for MBA with work placement is to get UK work experience and networking opportunities.
*the payment plan at GCU is quite flexible.

Although the program starts January next year, both schools require me to accept/decline the offer within 30 days.
Can I accept both offers while I make up my mind? Does it have any implication on my visa application? Also, I would love advises/views about both schools to enable me make up my mind.

Thank you

Good day All , please my course has a work placement year making the program 2years.
I’m not sure of the amount to keep in my account as maintenance fee. Is it maintenance fee for 9 months or will I factor in my placement year as well ?

What are the list of documents needed in applying for masters in UK.

I just started this journey recently as well , but I will advise you to do your own research because requirements of schools and programs sometimes differ.

Bachelor’s degree ( some schools accept Hnd)
Transcript
Personal statement
References ( in my case , applying for MBA)
Tuition fees
Proof of English (IELTS/ C6 and above in O’levels English)

Not all schools require IETLS, some accept WAEC that’s not over 5 years. You can also get a letter from your uni to confirm that your undergraduate was taught in English.

Another alternative which I just discovered is English Language Assessment by UK NARIC. You have to send them your degree certificates and transcript. It’s worth checking

Thank you so much
