The man has done well in the state. Even though his politics is questionable, look at the infrastructure development that can be found in the city.

Akwa Ibom state is wealthy. Unemployment is low, infrastructure is improving and the state is progressing. Why do people complain about Akpabio?

My best friend was once in this situation last yr. He took my advice and till today he has not stopped thanking me for it. Guess what i told him; well, when women discover that u luv them more, they try to run u, i.e they start making the rules. To avoid this, u have to be tough and mild at the same time, an uphill task, isn't it ? To be a "real" man na waoo. This is what u have to do today : put the relationship at stake and firmly ask to see every content of the phone at that moment. U have to act this one out well. Now if she refuses,walk her out or u walk out angrily and dont call her for at least two weeks, if she doesn't cave in after that, believe me, it means that she doesn't luv u, quit. However, if she agrees, u have your wish. The power is back, u can now make the rules. Goodluck.

Hi good people, i need constructive suggestions pls, i am married with a son, wifey is a student in 3rd yr. I worked as a tv presenter and later moved on to radio as a presenter/producer/DJ, i did this for 4years of my life and loved every minute of it. Later moved to banking where i stayed for 3yrs but now i am an asst mgr in an IT firm, i take care care of their branding issues. My problem now is that cos of skool i stay far from my young family, i am in Lagos and the are in Enugu, secondly i hate Lagos cos i awake 4:30am everyday and leave my house 5:30am to avoid traffic. I earn close to 250k a month with other incentives but yet i am not satisfied with the job, Lagos, the traffic (the fact that i have to struggle driving to & fro work against heavy traffic) and most especially not being close to my family. I just got an appointment to move back to radio in the east, 1hr drive away from my family for a salary of 90k a month, a flat, health insurance and 6months salary review. What should i do? i love media, its my life but taking a paycut of 150k for job satisfaction is scary? i need your honest contributions, u could be saving a life, waiting for your answers, one love!  

How come everyone is advicing based on the money alone, even with the 250k a month, he hates Lagos cos of the traffic and some other factors. But back in the east he'll be given a flat(which mean he'll no longer pay for accomodation), have access to health insurance scheme(his medical bill wont eat into his salary), in 6months he'll get a salary review(probably be earning more than 100k by then) and most importantly he'll be very close to his young family.
When you're not satisfied with what you are doing, it's difficult to grow. Believe me, I've lived in Lagos for sometime and i've also lived in other part of the country, getting a 2-bedroom flat in a good location in Lagos wont be less than 350k per annum, cost of maintaining your car in Lagos will be higher due to the hours spent in traffic. Above all, there's nothing as good as returning to the comfort of your family when faced with challenges of work place.
