Shebi they blocked boarder so we will not get turkey or chicken to eat grin
The want us to eat their disease infested cows that they sodomize. Cow that the meat will be hard as rock from treaking hundreds of kilometers. Infact what is vexing me is the meat my cook just served me. Infact I had to inspect my dentures if they had cracked. I just warned her that I have provided gas and she must boil the meat well even if it takes a whole day to get soft.
Useless Fulani and their cows. Nigeria is the only country in the world you price meat and not priced per kilo.

HealthRe: Help Needed: Sleeplessness, Persistent Pain In The Head And Neck by bendike: 12:07am On Sep 13, 2019
ssgi4in1:
Good evening good people. I am hoping I will get some help here.
Pls this will be a bit a long. I beg you to read. So you can understand better.

My problem started last year April (2018). I was diagnosed with typhoid and malaria. I was started on a course of treatment that involves anti malaria and an antibiotics (azithromycin). I noticed the quality of my sleep was dropping after taking the antibiotic for 2 days. My instincts was that it was the medicine. I eventually stopped taking it but by then my sleep have become badly affected. I woke up a Sunday morning after taking some drinks the previous night at a wedding with one severe type of headache ( I started the antibiotics on Thursday, took on Friday and missed it that Saturday) I continued that Sunday morning. So I eventually stopped all medicine and consulted a doctor friend. By then I had gone two nights with little or no sleep. He prescribed some drugs that was meant to induce sleep and even increased the dosage yet I still couldn't sleep.

Meanwhile before then, I am someone who could be called a sleeper. I can sleep at anytime without stress. I even take naps here and there in my office. So it was strange.

I eventually went to some hospitals and their treatment involved giving me sleep medicines and sometimes it could help me get very little amount of sleep and then it will make me feel very groggy and heavily fatigued. By this time a weird sensation have developed in the left side of my back head (this pain doesn't come and go... It is permanent). After spending some huge amounts I wasn't getting relief until I went to a neurologist. He first suspended all the sleep medications and started giving me amitriptyline 5mg every night ( after few days I started feeling better and had some deep sleep) but still the problem wasn't gone ( head pain and stiff neck).

I was paying about 30k monthly at the neurologists. It wasn't sustainable and I eventually stopped and decided to take my fate in my own hands. I eventually stopped taking any medication for sleep last November.

Between then and now, I have had some good nights where I slept very deeply and nights when I struggled. I have gone like 2 weeks without sleep issues. But still the pain in the back of the head and neck still persist.

Just yesterday I went to consult another gp and his diagnosis was that it was the poor sleep that is causing the pain in the head and neck. But I still find it difficult to believe. I will be having a video session with an Indian neurologist tommorow and I hope he will make a different diagnosis.

My coming here is to know if anyone have had an experience with my case and I would like to know how they solved their problem.

I will appreciate any suggestion that will be of help.

Thank you.
Hmm. Welcome to the club sad to say. Been on BP medication for 20 years +.
Dont sleep and have to browse or watch TV until I pass out. Even drink but cannot sleep. Take Valium and have to wait to pass out but wake up after 2hrs.
I guess I worry too much. Think too much over things others will sleep about.
The buhari next level has also made it worse thinking of providing for family. School fees etc. Pikin Wan go uni for UK at 460 naira per £ and they are 3. Lol.
My advice is just think less. Try to stay awake all day and not take a nap day time. Focus on work.
If you are married, lay your head on your wife's tommy and get her to scratch your back. All the mosquito bites etc and I bet you, you will pass out in no time. Lol. That is my natural sleeping medication grin

Most of those cars are overpriced. The xtrail top trim with all the bells and whistles is sold for around $33,000. When I converted the 16million naira tag on it, that is $45,000. I guess import charges and duties/taxes in Nigeria are very high.
The stupid thing is that we are poorer but pay more for cars than the richer countries.

Simplyleo:
Procession against an order.

A clear disregard of instruction from the govt.

We can't have two govt in a country. Where such is anticipated/suspected, there must be a showdown and the stronger emerges victorious.

And for the social media urchins who may soon start singing praise of this terrorist group because of buhari, you can as well join them in their ashura or whatever they call it rather than hiding behind your phone keypads pushing them more to doom.
So if you disregard an order from government you should be shot and not arrested? Are you serious?
Oh how low we have fallen in this country. embarassed

PoliticsRe: $9.6b Judgment: P&ID Owner’s Son Reaches Out To FG by bendike: 7:54pm On Sep 08, 2019
baby124:
First, the said court has no jurisdiction on this case so whatever judgement was gotten was a kangaroo judgment. Also, the company had been defeated in America and if the so called judge knew his profession he would know that the case had no legal right to be heard in his court. Now, the FG can file an appeal or even sue the company, judge and co-conspirators to court for filing a fraudulent case and committing fraud against the federal republic of Nigeria. There is sufficient legal backing that none of the assets of Nigeria can be seized by this judgment. So P&ID loses on all fronts in this case.
I hope your submission holds ground and we can get out of this mess because it will be devastating to our economy if p&id succeeds.
PoliticsRe: $9.6b Judgment: P&ID Owner’s Son Reaches Out To FG by bendike: 6:11pm On Sep 08, 2019
baby124:
Nigeria has said that no one who could have been authorized to sign that contract, was available at the time the contract was signed. So, if this is pursued to a logical conclusion, this company is looking at perjury on a massive scale. They went to court with fraudulent documents knowing it was fraudulent and they lied about their investment of $40m. They never invested one kobo in this fraudulent exercise. It’s like you don’t know what fraud is and the consequences of knowingly approaching a court with fraudulent documents.
If I sue you that you owe me 1m. I mean you. I have never met you. I make my statement of claim. The court orders that you be served. You are served several times to respond to my "fraudulent" accusations. You choose to ignore because you obviously do not know me.
After a while I plead for summary judgment and it is granted to me. The period for appeal expires you did not appeal, you then come a year later when I want to enforce judgment to state that you don't know me? From the little I know the law does not work that way. You were given a chance to present your case but you choose to ignore.
The law they say is an ass.
Lawyers on this forum can explain better.
PoliticsRe: $9.6b Judgment: P&ID Owner’s Son Reaches Out To FG by bendike: 2:13pm On Sep 08, 2019
baby124:
No negotiation. P&ID lied to a court and claimed they spent $40m. Which is the basis of this lawsuit. Let’s not even talk about the other various scams that they had used to scam Nigeria. They woke up a sleeping giant and they will pay the price. Nigeria needs to sue them ruthlessly for contract scams in the past and the cost of arbitration based on a pure lie. No body who was authorized signed that contract, so it’s a fraud and they should be sued on that too. Both criminal liability and civil liability. No running away now. So, this joker expects Nigeria to come and meet him in Spain to negotiate. Why not come to Nigeria? What is he afraid of? Arrest?
The time for Nigeria to come to court to prove it was fraud was there. Nigeria did not turn up. They got judgement. The time to appeal came and passed. Nigeria did not appeal. This is not matter of emotions but law.
PoliticsRe: $9.6b Judgment: P&ID Owner’s Son Reaches Out To FG by bendike: 2:07pm On Sep 08, 2019
kirkwood:
If this money is ever paid, P & ID will be 6.5 times richer than Seychelles, and 4.6 times richer than the richest company in Africa.

Will it be paidhuh?

The court has simply enforced the arbitral award under the initial arbitration proceedings.

It is one of the easiest judgement to be executed. Place a lien on Nigeria's foreign reserves, attaching the order of court. Once processed, money gone. No need to get the Nigerian government's approval.

This amount could comfortably have been spent on our educational sector, to upgrade the schools and research centres.

Appealhuh
What are you appealing against? Court's hands are tied in matters of arbitration, except where fraud is involved. English courts are not Nigerian courts. You can't bend them.

The best deal is to negotiate, but I can't see Nigeria paying below 3 billion dollars, which in any case would still be over 1 trillion naira.
Just my thoughts too.
These people already have judgment. If I sue you and you do not appear in court and I get summerily judgment. The better and easier for me. The time for appeal elapsed and you did not appeal?
The truth is that we can only negotiate with them. This is not a matter of morality or emotions. This government should have acted when they agreed on 850m but alas it not.
The faster we come to an agreement the better for us to avoid them enforcing judgment.
Meanwhile if you have any substantial cash, better change it to usd. Before buhari's incompetence on this matter makes $1=1000 naira.
