Yeye, instead of sourcing for means to make Nigerians to remit dollar into the economy to offset the scarcity of dollar, they are busy trying to make banks rich. Nigerians will just run off to use crypto and then via P2P or by remitting to Nigerians in other countries, they will still get their money converted. There is high inflation and high unemployment plenty stufs to keep the CBN busy and cracking their brain and not trying to enrich banks |

Same line used by prostitute, Those bitches be like, you cannot cage me under the cage of morality, or under the cage of decency, The be like let me roam free, and have liberty to jump from dik to dik, from bes to bed... Society will be like, but you ought to be loyal to a 1 dik and stand by it in time of firmness and in weaknes, and those bitches be like, we party and stand by you wen u strong and firm, but we cant be weak like you, you drain our spirit, you kill our vibes, so they jump to the next place where the promises of what their earliar benefactor can no longer give. In life there are 2 categories of People, Principled folks that have good Principles which they stand by, and bitches whom 'everywhere bele face na front' |
How do we define good people? The problem in Nigeria is that we dont have strong institutions, its strong institutions that will make for accountability. If the military could be 70% independent, the press, the Judiciary, the EFCC, the police, and theses guys really checkmate on the excesses of our elected officials, then they will be cautious.. Me think we need people of integrity (yha we kbow d last was a fluke) to man these institutions and then people will be forced to lead us right.. Its true that if you take Buhari to rule in the USA, he will be forced to work optimally or resign,, because the institutions are there to call him to order. |
Truth is even if everyone around us fell n died, we will change script and say its mass poisoning and population control. If in America that 400000 people hv died already and there are people that have not still believed, it will be almost stupid to belief that Nigerians who hv no iota of trust on the govt will bliv this figures. In Nigeria, we belief that a ghost slapped a man and killed, but corona na scam...Lols |
November1857:I am an akwa ibomite and i dont believe in that shit, its archaic. |
At last Funny enough, the last chief of Naval staff was from her Akwa-Cross, yet the waterways was always infested with militants and pirates who went as far as harasing traders and having offices where you go to, and pay to get back your boat or goods consignment when you got robbed at sea, it was rumoured that the navy and water police were complicit in the Pirate ring. Its not up to a month after the new service chief have been called to act, and we are getting some good news from there... Burutai from borno couldnt do much to secure his home town, and Ibok Abas from the Creeks, turned a blind eye while Pirates harrassed and killed his kinsmen. Guess the yardstick should always be competence and not tribe... |

Know this and know peace, In the game of politics, every step you take is crucial,it either increases you by some notch or brings you Down For years, Students have always had ASUU'S back, its always the government that's the problem, we know that, but last year, most people were doubtful, the strike held on for long, most felt that it was worth it, few others felt that it was not, but then, even when a whole years rent was wasting, students still had ASUU'S back. So finally, there was some form of reprieve, some middle ground was reached, and the government said it to all and sundry that it had kept its end of the bargain, Truth is, the deal was not as easy as the government made it look, ASUU knew they were being set, they dragged their feet but still moved on towards the trap. The National University Commission then did set up reopening dates, ASUU were like, you guys don't have the power, they were moving closer into the trap, they had no idea, students were itching to go back to school, most were indecisive on whether to pay rent or pack out, others were thinking about how they will be quoting or keeping the job they had during the long break. And then ASUU met, prolly in a hall with no sufficient social distancing, et all, and came out to tell the students who were already on edge "see guys, you can't go back to school, you see this second wave of corona, we won't risk that stuf" and the govt sprang the track, they got as much tabloids to carry it as much as possibly, the message was clear... "This guys are the enemies and not us" and the rampaging fingers itching students were all lined up, to shoot at ASUU and all they've stood for.. It was the same thing that happened, with the #Endsars. The govt was like, you have this freedom to protest, and then they set up some traps, instigated, they "allegedly" had some hoodlums to spring the trap and make the protest violent, and then they setup curfew, soldiers came, people died, the country burned, and the govt were like "see, they are your enemies, not us" and now any attempt for a renewed protest, won't be attacked by the govt, but will be shutdown by the people whose lives were made unbearable by the carnage that the last one came with. Now if ASUU has a legit reason to go on strike tomorrow, most people that supported them before will be like, "those greedy guys are out for their pocket.. If youths should have very pressing reasons to go into the streets to protest, most people will say " you guys have started again, the damage you did the first time is not enough, abi".. And the govt will just be folding its hands and smiling. You see the politics world, is a big chessboard out there, the Democrats saw that the inciting that Trump did, will leas to violence and possible death, they left Trump and gave him enough rope to hang himself, the moment his head was in the noose, the kicked the stool out and left him out to dry. When playing this game called politics, don't move however you want, you will be knocked out and not have opportunity to try again. the other side is calculating every move you make and making the best use of your mistakes, you might as well stop giving things to "fate" to control, and state making every move you make to have an end in view. The world as Shakespeare said is a stage 'you make a wrong act, and you sometimes never get an opportunity to recast your role... You might as well stay backstage and master the plot, before you get called to take the stage.. Benesis

On Grandiosity and Trump Robert Greene in his book "the laws if human nature" wrote on grandiosity. Its a complex, that pulls down leaders, their country and followers with them. When people keep on winning and feel that its their destiny to always win and then begin to make rash actions which clearly will bring them, as they feel that they have a destiny that no human calculation can bring down. Trump operating on this grandiose nature, operated only on instinct, in business he went and and was successful, in Television, he went in and was successful, he was a bestseller as well, he went into Politics and taking on a coalition of the very very best, he came out successful., even when he was caught in a number of smears and was impeached by house of reps, he still kept his seat and had a chance at reelection. These things will get into the heads of anybody, if all we do is win, we feel that we are larger than life and that no mortal cab bring us down. Thus, when Trump saw that it was Biden that he will be up against, he stated it on camera that Sleepy Joe was too dumb to be a contest. He didn't know that it was not so much about Biden, that it was himself that he was running against, as he alone had the power to make or mar things his drive to his Second tenure. With 250,000 dead, he still went on to advice his voters to not vote by mail, something that really came out to bite him and to bite him bad, and his legal team was headed by s lawyer that was out of practice for almost 30years, leading him on a streak of loses in courts, amounting to almost 100 loses. He had the cult followers, people who contributed millions for him to run his case in court, people who would have turned up for him in 2024 to correct the mistakes of having told people to not use the mail in vote, he could have gone back to draw up plans to make it happen, he could have campaigned to ensure that Democrats lost in Georgia, thus loosing control of senate and having a chaotic 4term rule. But then, he worked for the democrats by telling republicans that the election is fraud thereby making them stay back. And yesterday, all the incitement he had been fanning-up had fruition, and his hard liners took over congress, desecrating the American Democracy in full view of the whole world, and countries like Venezuela now had to tell Americans to allow the will of the people to stand. Trump has been able to finally unite the whole American people into seeing what that could be at state in supporting an extremist and everyone will now try to work together to forestall this reoccurrence. In the end, when the worst days in American Democracy is reviewed, it will be the President who incited a Coup on the Constitution and the will of the people that will take centre stage. In life, no matter how favored you might feel you are, never you imagine that you are bigger than life, life will bring you down and beat you to pulp. Alexander was Able to conquer the world because he had Aristotle to listen to, who told him when to take breaks from battle and consolidate his wins, before going on other campaigns.. If you want to conquer far and conquer wide, get yourself an Aristotle, or teach yourself to know when to stop, so as to consolidate your win and solidify your support base

Idongesit Nkanga, the chairman of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) and a former military governor of Akwa Ibom State, is dead. Mr Nkanga passed on in an undisclosed hospital in Uyo on Christmas Eve, his political associate and a family member told PREMIUM TIMES, Friday morning. There are speculations that Mr Nkanga died of COVID-19. PREMIUM TIMES is yet to independently verify this. He was 68. The late Mr Nkanga was Akwa Ibom governor from September 1990 to January during Ibrahim Babangida’s military regime. Ufot Ekaette, who later became the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, was his deputy. He retired as an air commodore in the Nigerian Airforce. As the chairman of PANDEF, Mr Nkanga was very vocal in the campaign for the restructuring of Nigeria and the development of the country’s Niger Delta region. ThisDay published on December 24 an interview it had with Mr Nkanga where he talked about non-completion of the East-West Road which is meant to link together the states in the Niger Delta. He also talked about the refusal of oil companies operating in the Niger Delta to relocate their head office to the region. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/433096-former-akwa-ibom-governor-idongesit-nkanga-is-dead.html |
