Ask people from Ikom,Ogoja and Ugep your question.

Even though Government has no business doing business. one of those jets cost around $8 million dollars. the ibom air has 5 fleets ,that's $40 milion dollars. The 20 story highrise cost $20 million
The other photos you posted are roads done by the previous governor.
Akwa ibom is one of the smallest state in terms of land , receives $50 to $60 million dollars every month . what does it do with the $60 million dollars ?
Cross river state receives only $9 million dollars per month .
Guy calm down, we agree the govt has failed.
But is that the reason you want to go and pursue a roadside mechanic fixing cars? Or a mama put selling food? These people are trying to operate beyond the govt. But yet you feel they are the enemy.

Most Nigerians do not like truth and facts . they prefer and thrive in lawlessness and disorder.
what does Akwa ibom do with it's 60 million dollars per month? It's 3 times smaller than Cross river and should be very developed .
I've observed most people on this forum ,especially the Akwa ibom people living in Calabar are the first ones to complain about the failed Cross river government without considering the fact that the allocation is 6 times smaller than Akwa ibom's . you guys act like Akwa ibom is performing any magic when in fact they receive 60 million dollars per month and still nothing to show . what can you say about that?
Guy cross river has a lesser population when compared to akwa ibom state the state civil service employs more people, and yes we know the govt needs to be made accountable.

But ehere is this hate coming from, did sn akwa ibom girl jilt you?

If most people stay in their states all these bickering won't exist . Why can't most Akwa ibom stay in their yaya state? the government should make efforts repatriating akwa ibm refugees home. and i'm not saying this as spite. it simply looks bad on you.
I know I Prefer most Efiks live and work and school at Calabar than spreading out everywhere as nuisance.

Wrong, do some soul searching and make a fix. Not all but most Akwa ibom people are everywhere doing menial jobs and prostitution and being a menace. that's bad.
Guy the hate is deep.
Every Nigerian has a right to reside anywhere within the length and breath of Nigeria, no one is a refugee here.. You need to swallow some of this hate.. Its poisonous

False. the akwa ibom government receives $60 million dollars per month . should invest in human capital.
Cross river is three times larger and receives only $9 million dollars per month employs 100s of Akwa ibom people . these are facts.
This is true, but the population in akwa ibom exceeds that of calabar.

I'm Efik. I think there should be a program which pays Akwa ibom people to go back to their state and never let them back in to Calabar. you are burdens and irritants.

One thing with family is that you may fight and quarrel, and create distance, but family is family...

I pray the office should be here temporarily.
Udom needs to talk with Ayade, the talk of Akwa ibomites looting Calabar is getting stale, why will akwa ibom people go that far to loot yet command palliative warehouse in uyo they dare not break in.

I feel this is a ploy to have a scapegoat to blame for all the woes and this if not checked now might lead to deep emnity... Udom needs to mediate, if need be, pay, if after investigation its found out that the allegation is true. Be that as it may, the fight and emnity is not necessary.

SUFFERInSMILIIN:
Illiteracy is the number one problem in Nigeria and also the people are very stupid.

95% of Nigeria's know that their own people will do nothing for them they will still go and vote for themselves. Look at what is happening in America today they are nine Nigerians which are contesting for different election and positions in this election. All nine of them have done nothing for Nigerian community in America but Nigerians will still vote for them. government is not the problem in this country. The Citizens are very stupid they will only follow an idiot I have let Nigerians in u.k. said if we are suffering is no problem let's vote for ourselves. 1 million years Nigeria cannot move forward as long as his people are ruling the country. Nigeria's can achieve nothing but we want everything going to the extent of running to another man's land and wanting to vote for a criminal which did nothing for us in our own country
Thanks for your nice comment.
But do you think that if you fix illiteracy that everything will be alright?
In the USA, do you think they really love how their country is going? Do you think iy is illiteracy too?

I will love to learn and broaden my knowledge from ur view
PoliticsBad Leadership Vs Greed:how To Fix Nigeria by Benesis(op): 11:04am On Nov 03, 2020
Most times, when we are asked to state the number one problem plaguing Nigeria, we list Leadership, Corruption, Illiteracy, Tribalism, etc.
But we never get to list things like, Greed, lack of contentment, lack of empathy.

I personally feel, that no matter how brilliant a leader is, Greed would be the end if him, as he won't know when to stop, and i feel that at the very root of corruption is uncontrollable greed to have everything meant for others for ones self, and even in illiteracy a trace of greed either of the teacher, who uses time meant to teach and researching and uses it for making side hustle and selling grades for money or favor or the people that work in their farm, and tribalism is some greed to hoard opportunities to jus your tribe.

We complained that the government where hoarding palliatives, but the moment we had an opportunity to take and share by ourselves, we saw how people loaded buses, and trucks to overflow, to hoard them for their selves and families, every other person can go and die, so from government hoarding it for themselves, we got angry and decided to hoard it for ourselves.

I feel that we need to have a state of emergency in addressing greed, in churches, mosque, our institution, capitalism is founded on self interest, and this self interest when not tempered with a touch of morality and the love of neighbor as oneself, always leads to a yawning gap of inequality as the rich stock up for themselves and generations to come, while the poor gets less and less to grapple for.

In Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism etc. "do onto others as you will love done to you" is a foundational principle.
I feel, if we tried to hammer on this, over and over and over again, if movies were scripted with this as the main plot, if govt policies where geared towards these tenets, if our pastors and imams, and Dalai lamas, Sensei and Monks extoled on these principles as often as possible.

This earth is very very rich, and it produces enough to go round, Jesus when he taught us how to pray, instructed to ask for "daily bread" not lifetime or generational bread, if we could all learn to take for ourselves what that will last us for the day and leave for others to take, your guess is as good as mine as to how beautiful our gloomy world will turn overnight

It is true.
But at adulthood, males are the best. Almost all innovations are discovered by men.
They are the poets, scientists, thinkers.
They are superb in reasoning and analysis.
At adulthood women take over the worry, they worry if their makeup is good enough. If their dress is nice enough, if people like them, if they will be married,if their boyfriend loves them, too msny things to make them lose focus...

And some recline to being full tym housewife or playin second fiddle

In my school days whenever students/pupils are being caned for failing maths, music or other subjects, they are always boys.
I observed that girls don't normally fail to the extent of being beaten by the teachers.
It's always boys that failed and the teachers would beat their buttocks.
It seems that girls are more brilliant.
Although men are more innovative and quick to understand and analyse things.
Girls are not eadily distracted as boys, especially at the earlier stages... Boys want to play, want to go out, want to hv girls, etc. Too much distractions

Are all lives the same?

Why is it that the military attacked protesters in Lagos for some hours, and lagos burned and Sanwo Olu, Tinubu and Buhari where dragged and all sort of curses where laid on them.

But Oyigbo has been going on for a week now, with military moving from house to house with clear evidence of deaths like this very one here, yet the social media is going on, Wike is not being dragged,

Sanwo Olu begged, tried everything, and yet we wanted his head. Wike is here insisting that the dead where necessary and daring everyone, yet...
No one is dragging him... Rather people are making it a fulani vs igbo thing?

Please who knows the meaning of hypocrisy again.

The other side of the story..
I am from the south south, but i respect the religious tolerance in the south west, they are typical example of the Byzantine era, where Muslims and Christians worked together, and Christians could invite muslims to teach them, and muslims could invite Christians to expose them in their ways of thought... Those where the golden age
