For those that where working..Please any idea if NNPC would request for a copy of your resignation letter from your previous employer at the point of registration? CC Jarus, Xfire
I don't think any potential employer asks a new hire for resignation letter from previous employer (at least not for big corporates). If they need any info related to your previous employer after you have accepted the new job, they write them directly and expect feedback

Who will even take a moniker such as 'Ashawomaster' seriously?
I mean common, be civil and show some class in your choice of moniker
Lol, @Freshshavedballs, you are forgiven. Just try not to give us any info from the towers as well, we'll be fine.

Do you even know if am an "insider" or not?

Peace Out!!!!!
It is a "faceless" forum, your moniker is all I know about you even if you are Mele Kyari himself. Impression is everything as it stands, not my fault that I find it hard to take anything you say here seriously; that's my take though, I am not speaking for any other person.

This is NOT true. GT upfront can't be up to 4 mil. Even after negotiation, I doubt it will reach d amount (maybe just around it after deducting pension). Pls stop misleading people.

The negotiation is presently at presidency and there is some form of sluggishness towards signing it because of insufficient funds. NNPC staff are currently grumbling cos some of them don chop gbese on top negotiation anticipation.
Broda Ashawomaster, guraftunoon!

Your moniker keeps screaming "Do not believe anything I say" in my ears. I can't seem to "hear" anything you typed properly.

Oga Unique Reasoning, why dont you reason that Nigeria is actually not in Africa but in Asia? At least to prove a point that everyone cannot believe the same thing. Or better still, reason that when you are actually a female but everyone believes you are a male. mtchewww sad sad huh
I hope you know that some white people think Africa is a country and that some queer people genuinely believe that they are of the opposite sex. This your comment is going 'left, left'. Please let's not derail the thread any further.

This concern is a valid one Lol... I really hope it doesn't. Most of them will be above the age bracket for GT.
More often than not, contract staff are upgraded to permanent staff as GTs if the staff is still fairly within the age range (max. 35 yrs). Anything older than that, you either continue with your contract staff job or go get the necessarily certification and apply as an EH anywhere.

No matter the likes gained, all na still story. The only difference between you and the previous speculators is just that you haven’t put a particular date for APL. By the way, we know the recruitment process isn’t yet cancelled. At this point, I think it would be better for anyone who hears any info from so-called ‘uncle’ or ‘family friend’ to keep such info to themselves, and let APL come when it wants to come. No matter what you heard, it is still speculation, and we know that any current situation of the recruitment can change at any time—Buhari can wake up tomorrow and cancel the stuff or decide to employ cows instead of us. So, until any information is concrete, which is only when APL is really out, any information you guys bring to this forum is simply unnecessary. It will only create unnecessary expectations or palpitations. Bye.
You obviously don't have the nose to tell the difference between crap and genuine info. So I can understand your negative disposition, but even you could have kept your thoughts to yourself too. Making reference to the 'likes' only made you a petty hater.

Fellow APL hopefuls,
having tried so hard to focus on my current job while waiting like d rest of us, I had to place a call to a relative (who by the way is about to made a GM or something like that)..After the usual pleasantries of a nephew calling an uncle, he was genuinely surprised that I was involved in d current recruitment.he asked why I have never mentioned it(cos we have met a few times after my interview) I laughed over it.. (main reason for not telling him is cos this uncle of mine is a stickler for merit and due process as in old school imperial college graduate)
Anyways, from the conversation, I observed he knew more than he divulged(wasnt surprised cos that is him) but bottom line,i got 4 points crystal clear..
1. The recruitment process even though it ran into bottlenecks vis a vis interference from some powers wasn't CANCELLED..infact let me quote him, "the amount of time and money that was invested in the process defeated all arguments from certain quarters for it's cancellation"

2. Yes,there were interferences at d end of the day but to his knowledge, it was very minimal.less than 5percent of total names.in his words, this is d most transparent recruitment process he has seen in his 27years in the system

3. GT list is actually ready but EH isn't entirely ready..According to him, they are still matching them to d different subsidiaries..i asked him how can that be cos I believed every EH from his resume and experience already applied to d positions best suited as advertised which should make placement easy. (eg, my work experience can only fit into NPDC) and his reply..that some subsidiaries may need 3 accountants whereas some may need 10 and most importantly, that some "interferences" also came with a subsidiary of choice.. (meaning some powers came with candidates and also demanded the subsidiary they should b posted to) hence some minor reshuffling

4..Lastly, that APL will come soon.i asked him how soon.. He said he couldn't place a date but it won't pass this last quarter 2019..i probed more and he gave a solid reason for his timeframe. The proforma invoices for the external (non Nnpc) SMEs (subject matter experts) that will be part of the GT training in edjeba has already been approved and the persons have already been notified as to their time schedules which includes this year. I argued dat the budget approved for the proforma invoices could be moved to budget accruals so that the system doesn't retrieve it/and it doesn't affect d next year's budget.. When I said this, he laughed and is like everyone involved in d budget for this recruitment is fighting tooth and nail for it to be concluded this year such that certain inflated figures won't be discovered..
He wished me luck and yabbed me to at least remember to call him if I was shortlisted..

Guys let's be hopeful and keep praying for God's grace last last..
I am not known for eulogising people for their info no matter how much it aligns with my thoughts because I have come to realise that a lot of us cook up sh*t from mere assumptions; but this sh*t right here sounds too real to be waved off. Thanks for sharing.

At our center, one of the NNPC staff said "it would be better for you to submit your work immediately you are through answering than waiting for the last minute."

I heeded. But I think your assumption is weak sha
He advised you to do so to prevent any possibility of a mishap due to network failure. It is just a commonsensical advice. It has nothing to do with the illogical "logic" above.

I will not respond to this after this.

If score >= 70 and time <= 45m:
Print("pass. You are hereby invited"wink
else:
if score >= 70 and time >45:
print("Fail"wink.

I hope you get the concept. Even the person that pass can still fail when you bring the time of submission into it.
Please I am trying to get you based on this your logic, so if one scored more than 70% but submitted after 45mins, he stilled failed?

If your answer to the above is in the affirmative, then it is incorrect because I carefully reviewed all my answers until the last minute before I submitted. Guess what? I was called for interview.

The above goes to show that you just make up assumptions and spill, it is very unhealthy.

Thank you for this...

The question of irregularities, what does it connotes?

Are they saying that federal character will supercede the place of merit in the final list?
Or political lobbying will have its place?

I can understand if you don't want to divulge on the subject!

Thanks once again.
But you ought to know that the average Nigerian more often than not, puts his selfish interest before credibility nah.

Yesterday, a source told me before the next two weeks, Notifications would be out. He couldn’t give a specific date though and it’s his first information since so I was cynical.seeing a lot of people coming out now with rumors, it might be true. Maybe, just maybe we are about to smile.
So, Oct. 17 is beginning to gather momentum.

Truth or lie I don't know but the rumor making rounds in the towers is that the new GMD NNPC groups, want to jettison this recruitment exercise on the grounds that it was marred with irregularities. On my own, I can not substantiate any compromise on the excercise, but I reliably heard that after we(NiG masses) finished our own interview section, a few person were hand picked for a special interview.

If you can recall Mekanti Baru was running things fast fast ,but since Mele Kyari assumed office, things has slowed down. Why?
Please keep the rumour to yourself if you don't have facts. Thanks.

What is the point of spreading the rumour any further?

@bolded, Please gloat when your twitter rant fetches you an immediate update. Otherwise, you still have to wait like everyone else that have earlier sent enquiries requesting for update for NNPC to revert.

When you are done bantering back and forth with someone who has absolute control of what he chooses to type, even @NNPC and MKKyari will leave twitter for y'all.

From the Henry Shield tweet, someone who didn't pass the CBT was already making allegations about how those called for interview was shortlisted. To him, people like you who made the interview list are all 'fraud'. That alone is a derailment from the original idea. Good luck trying to correct him.

I support the twitter idea. However, we should politely and respectfully ask for an update on the recruitment. No negative words. No tagging of opposition party. No negative hashtags. The key words should be politely and Respectfully.
And if people decide to do the opposite of what you advised and mess up the original idea, what then happens?

A Wiseman once said "do not create what you do not have control over, it will seek to control you"

If we must ask questions, there are better controlled channels to do so, twitter is like a keg of gun powder, it just needs any fool (who has nothing to lose) to light a fire and it blows up on everyone's face.
