I cannot believe I disagree with you on this. cheesy grin. Common, the man is 38.

But wait, if you are too old, retire. cheesy grin
steady986:
And for LeBron, it's safe to say he's old. He doesn't impact the game as he used to. He scores points but more often than not you can't really feel the impact of those points. The efficiency has gone down mostly because he's taking too many threes. The IQ is there and the mind is willing but the body is letting him down. Look at the open dunk he missed today. He's also missing layups. For us to have any chance in this series or the rest of the playoffs, AD has to be our best player. You could see in game 2 that just a little more production on the offensive end and we could have won that game.

Meanwhile your team chop plank. cheesy grin
charlesemeka85:
Jose Mourinho has guided AS Roma into back-to-back European semi-finals, winning the Conference League last season now it's the UEFA Europa League. 👀

20 years after he won the UEFA Cup with Porto. The Special One is timeless. 🐐🇵🇹

This stat is not useful though. Poverty is a function of the well-being of the people, not the land.

cheesy grin. I am not backing down ooo. But i should get a breather now. cheesy grin. They may be able to run, but if they can't put the ball in the hole na mere exercise. cheesy grin. Hence they need someone that can guarantee 25+ points. Ja is still needed even if they can run.
birdman:
papa benji stop eet. We all agreed last week Grizz are the young legs, and they will run Lakers out of town. Now you want to change story. wickedness. Grizz are still the favored to win this series, if Ja comes back. Their style of play is exactly what the Lakers do not want to see. Note how the the young legs on the Lakers team scored the most points
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:46am On Apr 17, 2023
You don start ooo. You don start ooo. The Lakers were not the underdog. AD and Lebron cannot be the underdog in this series. The only thing that makes it look like it is the uncertainty surrounding your glass of a person. This two have won together(even though na bubble, all win na win. cheesy grin) and Lebron's tremendous experience is very important here. Interestingly, i would rather they dispatch you guys, so we can make quick work of them again if and when we go past the Kings. No hard feelings. cheesy grin. Your team may be uncertain, but your upside is high. Your supporting cast is showing up too. More dangerous than I even thought.
steady986:
I'm talking about who was the underdog at the start of the series with both teams healthy. We all agreed it was the Lakers, but because of agenda some people want to twist the narrative.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:58am On Apr 17, 2023
Interesting. Everybody has a fit afterall. cheesy grin
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:38am On Apr 17, 2023
Kawhi's midrange, just smooth. Not as smooth as KD's though. cheesy
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:32am On Apr 17, 2023
Well they gave you guys fits last year. cheesy grin. You want to meet them in the finals not early.
Roland17:
I remember that conversation and before the playoffs I said I did not want to see Spoelstra because I know him and his team very well because the Heat are one of the best coached teams out there.

As for the the Sixers, don’t crack me up. Even Embiid admits it’s not a rivalry. Lol..
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:49pm On Apr 16, 2023
Interesting, we will find out soon enough. I am not sure trying to beat them with two guys is a certain strategy though. You just never know, if they struggle you are done, which is possible, although I respect them enough to do it 4 times. However, your strategy may have to change during the game depending on the trajectory of the game. Make them just win. cheesy grin
A40:
I'm being honest for real. The Warriors have been bad on the road all season. So to catch an inexperienced team and let them off the hook that way is no bueno.

Forget about Malik Monk for a second and realize that Fox was the only starter to score more than 15pts. As well as Steph, Wiggins and Poole played the Warriors should win that game everytime.

Look at what killed the Grizzlies today. It was 5 guys scoring 20 points for the Lakers.

In fact I'd argue it is better for the Warriors that 2 guys to try and beat them than 4 or 5 guys scoring 15 points or better when the scoring load is well distributed. That would be death by a thousand cuts
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:38pm On Apr 16, 2023
The Bucks are interestingly deep. Hopefully, Giannis is ok.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:26pm On Apr 16, 2023
Take am easy now. No be like say when those folks score Fox go score 38 again. You did not consider redistribution of the scoring load. Besides Malik Monk no be 32 point player now. Ah. cheesy grin
A40:
They have a lot on their hands. 3 of the Kings starting five played terribly and somehow the Kings were able to win. What happens if they play well?
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:19pm On Apr 16, 2023
Which narrative? Are you alright? How can this team even win without Ja Morant? I am not sure anyone would think twice about this Memphis Grizzlies without Ja.
steady986:
This was the analysis of my Lakers on this group just a few days ago. Now y'all want to twist the narrative. Ko le werk
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:14pm On Apr 16, 2023
Eve person wey dey watch highlights know say this is bullshit. Unbelievable. cheesy grin
Maynman:
Are you also alright?
When Lakers lose and lebron plays they blame lebron.
Who will blame schroder or loonie walker?
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:32pm On Apr 16, 2023
Are you alright? That's the normal thing now. When his team loses, they blame everybody else.
Maynman:
If the team loses I’m sure they won’t blame reeves, the same energy should be matched when they win.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:31pm On Apr 16, 2023
If Ja no fit play this series, series don end be that ooo. My 6 game prediction would be reversed.
A40:
They are overmatched. Who do the Grizzlies have as good as Schroeder, Hachimura and Reaves as 4th, 5th and 6th options
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:28pm On Apr 16, 2023
They will still find a way to give Lebron all the credit. He's the reason Reeve's is able to score. cheesy grin
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:00pm On Apr 16, 2023
Memphis better not lose this game. If dem know anybody for anywhere make them quickly call. What you don't want is for Lebron to steal a game for your house. That would be disastrous.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:46pm On Apr 16, 2023
Shut up. The last time I checked your man is the counterfeit GOAT. cheesy grin
steady986:
Refs should pity us in this game na. We're already the underdog. We don't need all this home cooking angry
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:28pm On Apr 16, 2023
AD sha. Won fi se bobo yi ni? cheesy grin. It didn't look like anything happened there. Jackson continued hustling normal, normal.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:27pm On Apr 16, 2023
If Jackson continues to be aggressive and attack everyone including the old man cheesy grin, this series may end very quickly.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 5:23am On Apr 16, 2023
Stay around for game 2.
larride:
I know of GSW woes on the road and it’s part of why I’m telling they will lose game 2.

Kings is more of a threat to GSW than Memphis to me personally.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 4:12am On Apr 16, 2023
I agree, they are terrible defensively, but a team with a big just bothers GSW.
Roland17:
Na, what they are doing today is an anomaly considering their regular season defensive/ rebounding stats.

The Kings are ranked 26th out of 30 NBA teams in rebounding and 25th in defensive rating.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 3:10am On Apr 16, 2023
That's not unexpected though. I think they just get beaten by a more talented team.
Roland17:
The Kings are getting everything they want under the rim.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 7:55pm On Apr 13, 2023
As usual, they are drumming up support for the Lakers to go just run through everyone. I love it. I trust the Grizzlies despite us not liking them can end this in 6 games. cheesy grin
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 2:44am On Apr 12, 2023
If you ask me I think it's a good cover for continuing to trust players playing in the second tier. The standard must not be raised. Our second-tier players must be given a chance. cheesy grin
charlesemeka85:
why are you guys so scared of our players moving to bigger clubs? If he joins Madrid and flops will he be the first to do so?

Y’all will be raving on a 2nd tier player in one of the worst teams in the division but will be the first to condemn other players attracting offers from bigger and traditional European clubs after they hv worked so hard to attract such interest

Tufiakwa !!🥺😡

Una and mediocrity na 5&6 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93:
Ofcourse as long as it includes Lebron. cheesy grin. Na me and you. But why would you deliberately miss the key argument you made? Your argument was that this batch is more talented. And I insist they aren't based on the scoring metric alone. No dey forget previous arguments as you dey formulate new ones.
steady986:
Yea. Steph too is scoring this much because of the freedom given him. Which puts a question mark on his greatness. I ain't taking any revisionist argument from you bro.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:38pm On Apr 09, 2023
LAC may be trying their best to lose this game, even though they are playing against the suns without their starters. Interesting. cheesy grin
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:26pm On Apr 09, 2023
Do not be one-sided in your thoughts. . Always try to find counter-examples that nullify your argument. Perhaps you couldn't. This could just be the consequence of the fact that they have a lot of freedom. Ofcourse you should score more. It would be weird if you don't. In other words, there is more than one reason why that is the case. You cannot just choose one reason and go straight to a conclusion. Great achievement regardless. Me and you for this playoffs cheesy grin
steady986:
The great Celtics have existed for over 70 years. And you want to tell me this isn't the most talented era in basketball? Sit this one out bro. You have no case.

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:54pm On Mar 31, 2023
Yes, I dey fear you now. Some of those smiley's are cheeky, unfortunately, Nairaland never reach to specify. cheesy grin. But let us toast to the crazy western conference.
birdman:
I noticed some days you are very nice. On other days you are very mean. Yet, ALL your posts feature smileys, multiple smileys. You dey fear me bros
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 9:00pm On Mar 31, 2023
Let me be petty tonight. cheesy grin. I just heard a popular NBA talk head admit AD's peak is not as high as Giannis's. Then I remember that not too long ago some folks here actually thought it was blasphemous to even compare Giannis to AD, very interesting development. grin
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 6:14am On Mar 31, 2023
Make una kuku claim all players with African ancestry wey dey try. Nonsense. cheesy grin
M7even:
If we check jude Bellingham and Vinicius' DNA I will not be surprised they carry Nigerian ancestry. See Saka see Jamal Musiala. Even Mbappe is said to have a bit Nigerian blood. God bless Nigeria.
