For all that still think GEJ is God's sent; may God run your lives the way GEJ manage Nigeria...and all say Amen My people and deceit. |
For some of us in diaspora, we have been following the political trend in Nigeria, and I for one can tell you that no matter how clean you claimed to be, for you to get to power at this point in time, you definitely need the so called 'corrupt guys' to show you the way. GMB has been consistent, and he never gave up hope on Nigeria. GEJ said he had delivered what he promised, so we want someone else to work for the people since he's bereaved of ideas already. He should bow out cos he's already overrun his luck. He will be the first incumbent president to lose election in Nigeria. His wife could not advise him better, we all know what she represents...... Let's vote for people that had shoes/sandals during their school days. They know how to walk better rather someone who had shoes in his latter days. |
That's one of the problems with Nigeria, we need help, we should seek help. We have an ignorant president, and sycophants around him. How many more people will die before the idiot will act.... and he wants to stay in power (Nigeria's best president ever).... what a clown We have people holding us to ransom, and the solution is to turn to God? |
Reference:thanks for your comments, I was looking for the post that says most hitech US military equipment come from China, that's ridiculous for someone who thinks he knows but he does not know jack. |
Has he declaared that he is a Nigerian? I don't think so... when the other two idiots that killed a British soldier on the street of London, we were quick to deny them that they were not born nor raised in Nigeria. We're claiming this one now? Let him tell the whole world that he is a Nigerian, then we can say a Nigerian that might become the first British Prime Minister. |
Good for her, but why didn't she buy it before now, just asking. Didn't she buy a very expensive car previously? She could have bought the house first then the car second. Btw , source @ op.
Do you control when and how others spend their money? Some of my people need to be more liberated. |
...... and this made the front page? NL is getting old! |
He should apologize and quit the office, he has sent Nigeria back in time by fifteen years. .... so annoying. |
Are you kidding me? If you think these guys don't talk and have something in common, u are joking, permanent interests, temporary enemies. |
safeact: She was placed on house arrest Ãήϑ not have acess to D̶̲̥̅e outside! She might have done something that made her hubby do that. I have d right to dictate for M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ wife what Ãήϑ where to go for D̶̲̥̅e safety of family Ãήϑ possibly our future! Its a pure family palaver!Must you post on a forum like this when you know you have no clue about marriage, fundamental human rights, abuse of office etc. You need help! |
Am a new bee in Yankee.Been here like going to a year now.I want someone with broad knowledge to reply me and give me advice.I am actually a graduate of English in Nigeria and hope to continue with a masters in Communication. What are my chances of getting admitted and what are also my chances of getting employed after my Masters Program in Communication.I decided to ask this question here because most of my pals are in the medical line therefore they see nothing good and promising outside the health field and I am not cut out for that medical ish cause I believe one can still become a success story even without being in the medical line.Reasonable advice and insights are welcome.
Please don't give up on your dreams, but a Master's degree in communication in this country is great if you are planning to relocate to Korea or China, if you are in STEM degree you stand a better chance. Good luck |
When you say he is a white dude and that he is not African, that's racism and discrimination based on national origin and color. We should expect FIFA's sanctions! Keshi is too egoistic, we all know that. He just dented his own image. So pathetic, he better apologise so that the sanctions might be less. The NFF board must be 'high' to defend him. |
It's funny......... we want changes in Nigeria and we still want to do things the same way. Recurrent expenditure at 77% that is sick, why do we have 109 senators? Nigeria is a third world country but we want to live like one of the biggest economies in the world. 109 senators should be reduced by 36, one from each state. We can continue to shrink government burdens gradually, the senators are among the wealthiest Nigerians anyway, why are we wasting money on them, how can gov't meet other needs when there is too much burden. |
It's not poor education, they are just wicked and lack conscience. They know what's right but they won't do it. |
omusiliyu: there is nothin like Ghananians. They are Ghanians. Olodo!Look at you trying to correct someone, you are so pathetic, your case is so worse that you don't know but you think you are smart........o ma se ooo. He was right, smartas* you were wrong! He did not write Ghananians, you read it that way, he wrote Ghanaians, pls go back to the post and my advice is to apologise to him, because we don't see your pics do not mean you should be rude on the web, it's uncultured. |
How can a news report make front page on NL without verification? Why do the moderators and administrators of NL wish this govt evil all the time? What is NL up to? Why not wait for the news to be verified before hitting front page with it? Why are the administrators of NL always in a hurry to put any report that places the govt in bad light on the front page? Even if the man resigned, cant NL wait for a few seconds to atleast verify the report? The same SURE-P they said was not working has suddenly become talk of the town to the extent that some opposition elements and their internet dogs feel threatened by the programme. SURE-P is now a house hold name. Anyway, if its true that Kolade resigned, it is sad. It will be important if the reason for his resignation is known. Nonetheless, if truely he resigned, some other person will take his place. The transformation train can NEVER be stopped for any reason.[ quote] What transformation were you talking about? People deceiving people, o ma se ooo. GEJ will be Nigerian's worst person in govt. (I don't call them leaders cos they are not) |
When she chooses a restaurant to meet for a date and not a public place like a park, a book store etc. |
DeCleff: When the good were still going on.I never wrote like this when I was in primary school. Terrible! |
The OP got it all right, even in a civilized country like US, we still exhibit out mediocrity. I experienced everything mentioned by the OP, Nigeria is a pathetic nation. |
There are different sides to this issue nevertheless, experience is key, no employer wants to hire you simply because you have a foreign degree, if they hire without an experience, you might use that experience to get a better offer and you will 'abandon' them, that's the way most of these employers see it. Gaining some experience in your chosen career is key, also making all efforts to secure a job before moving to Nigeria would be a smart thing to do, my friend got a job right after graduating from Scotland in Petroleum Engineering Mgt.-Masters. He was just sending out his CV and got that email/call, he worked for two years now he has his own biz. Most of the time graduates in STEM seem to be hired more quickly than others, everyone can not be a STEM graduate though. Vision does not end with whoever starts it, it goes on for decades, Awolowo died in 1987 and people still claim to be Awoist, why? because of his vision and philosophies, this generation is a waste, Nigeria is not blessed with leaders, only with thieves and corrupt people in power, there is no hope in this country called Nigeria until we go separate ways. Everything is a race in Nigeria, we're all competing subconsciously or even directly |
pek: They were not reigning cause they were neither European or la liga champions. This dude is smart... you are right. EOD! |
how is she a model?....... former prostitute! |
One caller on Wazobia FM said Jonathan is the only one who could 'fix' Nigeria's problems at this time. |
I can't believe that some Nigerians believe that the Eagles will beat the CIV Elephant , u better be kidding me. ....anyway let's wait and see, I just don't want us to be ridiculed. |
.....and then someone gon' tell me he still believes that this country should still stand as 'ONE UNITED COUNTRY', it's not gonna work! P E R I O D! Yorubas shuold stop being cowards and come out of our shells, there is no way we can continue this way, nothing will change except disintegrattion of the components called Nigeria then we can devise a different way of life and how we want to be governed not some 'arrangement process' that we have now. |
A Nigerian immigrant's dream came true when President Barack Obama signed into law a rare private bill granting him permanent residency in the Unites States. Victor Chukwueke, who lives in Michigan on an expired visa, came to the United States 11 years ago to undergo treatment for massive face tumors. He graduated from a university in the state, and plans to attend an Ohio medical school that requires him to have permanent residency, also known as a green card. http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/29/world/africa/us-nigerian-obama-law/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 |
To some of us, we say we love Nigeria, I have said that before, but I now maintain that there is not one person or one thing that can change things..... we need to go separate ways, let's reset out mind, let's stop deceiving ourselves. Hausa, igbo, Yoruba and the other minorities are forcing themselves to live together that's why Peace in Nigeria is so fragile, I'm not asking anyone to agree with me but don't crucify me cos this is my opinion. Nothing is working in Nigeria any longer, other African countries are now mocking us, I just want one thing that works, someone pls tell me. |
Ahhh Nigerians! I still don't believe some folks out there want to crucify the OP based on this thread, it's a view/opinion of the writer. Period! The conclusion really interests me, we all need to learn how to treat one another with respect, it's not about what you want to get but what are you willing to pay/give. |
malele: Something USA did in the 90sNot 90s but over 100 years ago. |
no matter what we all think, i think he's going places, as I'm typing now his song he's being played on a radio station in Dubai, UAE |
Nigeria is not a country, she is like a game of cards, everyone is trying to win, no national interests whatsoever, make what you can make and let others cry all they want. Nigerians should just pray for a peaceful break-up otherwise it's gonna be bloody, nothing is working. I gave up on Nigeria since Bola Ige was killed by the Obasanjo Administration and Funso Williams was also murdered in cold blood, Nigeria's problems can never be solved except we go separate ways, people of diff. mentality, orientation, languages, cultures & tradition are being forced to stay together as one country, it won't work, believe me. US said 2015, let's wait and watch the scripts. |
Is this some news to rejoice about or what? idk how it made the front page..... when one person has won 21 Gold medals in two Olympics appearances. Wake my folks. |
