umar2:I am sure you must be sick making this erroneous post appear twice. |
Few people just turn out for that coupist and we no go hear something. Him go loose badly. Goodluck all the way |
In as much as I do not support any party but personality on merit, it is worthy to state that Buhari CPC is no different from PDP/ACN. All those who rigged elections and perpetrated violence to make PDP/ANPP win have suddenly find a safe heaven in CPC after been expelled from their respective parties for one fraud/confusion. This does not make any party the best especially the leading ones. Weigh all the odds of GEJ and Buhari you will find certainly that the former by far is a better choice at this time for Nigeria. |
I am surprise one of the pro Buharist is saying he knows this is democracy and that he would do things differently. Is it possible to learn to be left handed at old age(69+) or can a leopard change her skins? This man destroyed Nigeria nascent democracy and should have been charged for treason but now comes to claim to be democratic without apology for all the atrocities. If his intention for the coup were geniune why didn't he handover to civilians after one year. Babangida came and wanted to remain forever(which is what Buhari would have done also) but Nigerians fought till we got back this democracy and he wants to be a beneficiary by contesting for the presidency. A man who failed woefully at the unpopular NN24 debate- not in consonance to modern realities. In his manifesto probably written by Bakere on the issue of power- claimed he can generate 16,000MW in four years. If only he understands the engineering complexities involve in achieving 1000MW and the timeline in completing same he would not make much nonsense promise. The roadmap to Power as it is currently been implemented will get us to the promiseland of steady power not just saying something without a clue what it entails. |

batiatus:You are on your own. The mind made up is negative for the opposition in the presidential election. jfking2005:Moving forward does not mean forgetting grievious mistakes and pride shown by the opposition. The old woman and man in the village watched the TV and accepts GEJ |
jfking2005:Please update your head campaign is not over yet. omo9ja1:Did I konkolok:hear you say most wanted debate. How many nigerians knew of NN24 before now. |
It will be incomplete if I do not make a comment on this thread on the virtues of GEJ. I simply want to adopt all the good reasons given by all good thinking people in this thread on GEJ. However he is human and needs to learn from some of the critics of the oppositions. What is important is Nigeria moving forward and better stories in years to come. I also want to thank pro GEJ supporters for maturity in analysing issues not serious damaging sentiments as seen in anti-GEJ crusaders. |
The truth is that most contributors in this thread who are pro Buhari were either little children during Buhari military dictatorship or were not born then to know the antecedence of the man that they portray to be holier-than -thou. A man who truncated democracy and later came to serve under the notorious Abacha military junta. A man who admitted corrupt Abacha's son into his party CPC because he had earlier claimed Sani Abacha was not corrupt. A man who campaigns only in the core north can not lead a national governement of unity. A jihadist and Islamic fundamentalist who attempted to register Nigeria as an Islamic nation. |
Now that the elections have been postponed PHCN should give us light and takoff the one supplied to INEC. Yesterday the PHCN manager instructed nationwide load shedding should affect where INEC is located. |
all election today postponed. |
I am surpised at 11:30am no inec or voters in my polling unit here in Port Harcourt city. I am wondering what happens to the riverine communities. Its is a pity! |
Lets watch out! If INEC and indeed Nigerians gets it right tomorrow then we are moving towards greatness. The presidents and governorship campaigns makes the NASS aspirants not to be popular. Contrary to what people think in the SS most senators and rep may not return as they have nothing to show for their past legislative years. |
It is a pity that most people will not vote if truly vehicular movement is restricted. In most part of the country some leaders encouraged their kins men to register in their village to increase their voting strenght and also as if it was a census affair for future governrment considerations. But quite unfortunate majority will not vote as result of restricted movement. What is important in the face of these votes should count! |
ziccoit:ZICCOIT: You are on your own. Join the winning team, GEJ. The spirit of Nigerian students does not mean when you see good thing you should not embrace it. You call names to leaders are you sure you will one day become a leader. This is not a curse but food for thought. |
Amen! GEJ thank you for your excellent road map to making this country great and truly united again. Your haters like they did during PDP primary with Atiku are at it again but at the end we will laugh them. I am happy during the debate you touched on all the myriads of problems confronting us as a nation and the good in all there is solution in the offering. |
Where are the Buhari supporters? He is certainly losing as 25% of votes in 24 states win will certainly be impossible for him. We can not trust our future on a dictator that incites violence. In all honesty GEJ made it bold and clear that his electoral victory do not deserve a person to be killed whereas Buhari says the opposite. |
swiftycool:Certainly by the above assertion you are demonstrating your own laziness in understanding THINGS. GEJ does not need such cramming, He is the president already and knows his onions very well. I am sure you did not go about speaking on his behalf during the campaign tour neither did you write his PHD thesis for him. |
If President Goodluck made a grievous blunder by not attending the debate organised by NN24, would the same aspirants singing the songs of change do same. For once can't they prove to Nigerians they are different by not doing what they claim GEJ did?. Simply put pride and fear engulfs them all. After exposing their inexperience in governance in last week's debate certainly they opted out with excuses. The BON debate has a national coverage and should have given them opportunity to show what they have. Fashola showed his expertise yesterday and is already getting the credit. |
Good tips for younger generation of Nigerians as for the old-no way. I still believe Nigerians possess 50% of the attributes listed especially in an emergency situation. With good leaders that can bring back discipline and parents doing there proper training the next generations of Nigerians can be better. |
No one has been awarded for making the most post on NL so missing me or not is nothing to worry. My advice is make use of your thinking cap not just putting up stories because you want to contribute on a thread on a NL. |
Gossip!gossip!!gossip! is that all we find in NL? The first lady openly invited all female aspirants of all political party for a dinner in affirmation to her pet project women for change initiative and someone hurried down here and say she gave them money at the end of the programme. Fellow gossips start assumming N500,000 each you could have as well assume N5 million each. This is certainly one of the things that makes sound minds to stop contributing in NL. |
Every misnomer in Nigeria is blamed on GEJ. The other day okada association willingly had a session with the president to discuss the problems facing them and solicited for federal government support as most states are trying to face them out. Another group claims they are not the real leaders here on NL without any evidence to show and Mr. President should be crucified because of one simple rumour. Poor you haters of GEJ. Like one contributor mentioned, we will see what you will write after 29th May, 2011 when GEJ has been sworn in. |
I join all meaninful Nigerians to laugh!!! simple reason you have an aspirant seeking the highest office in the land without decorum and questionable past. |
winner of atiku |
Godalone: please double check your posting, the federal high court did not sit in Abuja but in the south east, Enugu. Mind you guys he is yet to receive notification as it will remain a rumuour unless properly served and this will not happen today anyway so nothing changes for GEJ. GEJ will carry the day! |
good deal for them |
