Coherence 7/10.
Not since Memento and Cloud Atlas have I watched a confusing and convoluted storyline like Coherence. At a point in the movie, I was almost frustrated to the point of quitting the movie. But as I persevered, I was amazed when I finally got to understand what the movie was all about. The storyline looks basic and straightforward on the surface, but has a deeper confusing plot underneath.
PS: It's a typical 'boring' film for most folks, so don't download based on my ratings. |

Se7en 8/10
Always had a hunch that I must've seen this movie in the past and I was proven right. Immediately the photographer took Pitt's pic at the stairway scene, I remembered the movie. Like other numerous movies which I never get to start or started but never finished, the useless NEPA with their erratic power supply made sure I never got to know the name of movie the two times i had watched it till today. SMH.
The movie is dope and storyline is engaging. One of the few movies I didn't like when the villain died. What a fantastic, intelligent, patient and methodical killer. |

mcdreeezy: Ok, thanks. I just downloaded from tfpdl.is and it took a whopping 1GB. I'm thinking it has to do with the quality I downloaded cuz 1GB is a lot. Yes, it is a lot for us Nigerians. You probably download the 720p or 1080p version of the movie. If you'd gone for the 480p version, it'd have been around 450-500mb. |

mcdreeezy: I just visited the site and I've seen the movie but how do I download it? Please explain to me. I'm trying to find my way around it. Scroll down and click on the download option (download page). It'll display a new page where you'll be instructed to input a captcha (bunch of words and alphabets) which is displayed below a space where you'll type in the captcha. Type in that captcha and it'll reveal the next page where where you will see various links. Keep clicking on them till you get one where the file is in, then download away. |

olu4life: LOL, just finished it finally.
Not my type of movie Just average to me. The musicals were so not it for me except 2 (shallow and I'll never love again). The rest was a bore. Plus the movie is kinda slow biko.
My Rating - 5.5/10 Welcome to the drama genre, and why most people don't like drama genre movies. |

olu4life: LOL true
Sigh, I give up... None of you yet to watch it. That's surprising. Lol I've watched and reviewed here, you missed it. Beorn: A Star is Born. 8/10.
Take a bow, Bradley Cooper!! Your directorial debut and you aced it. Took to your role perfectly like a duck to water. This is how a reboot should be. Predator 2018 are you watching? Even The Greatest Showman could learn how to match a good musical performances and cinematography with fantastic storyline and superb acting performance from A Star is Born.
The surprising package was Lady Gaga. I knew Bradley is a top actor, but I never envisaged a terrific performance from Gaga. She's a natural. Apart from the singing scenes which she'd normally excel, she passed her other scenes with flying colors. It's like she's been acting for ages. And she's fine AF. I never noticed because I never liked her when she came out newly back then because I disliked her weird dress sense and act, so I'd always change the channel when her musics were on. But watching her closely for over 2 hours made me realize she's very beautiful. Good voice to match a good acting performance. I'm impressed. I look forward to seeing her in more roles. She's good. A Star is Born is a well written emotional romance musical drama. I loved every breadth of that movie, but our choices differs, so I'm not surprised you don't like movie. The drama genre is a genre most Nigerians I've related with find boring. |

J2381: Batman: Under The Red Hood. (Animation)
9/10.
It's kinda sad, considering the way it ended. The movie shed a whole lot of light on why Batman doesn't murder criminals. Though I understand The Red Hood's sentiment, very well. Since yesterday you've reeling out DC animations. Seems like you're fan of DC animations. |

bidemz: Hello guys, please I'm in search of a movie I got caught up in the middle some years back. Lemme give my best description I can.
The main character is a man, he was in a meeting with a girl he just met with her family I guess he was on a spy mission, he was putting on a pair of eye glasses which aides him with the mission unknowingly to girl or her parents
He left his dog back home with his friend, so while he was on the date, his friend started shuffling around his house where he saw a kind of a secret lock, he started messing around with it so the guy started see him via the spy glass.... somehow a bomb was sent to his house and destroyed it
Pls....Any clue? The movie's name is Kingsman: The Golden Circle. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fb/Kingsman_The_Golden_Circle.png |

My Little Eye 3/10
A lame and terrible attempt at a horror/crime thriller movie. Very childish acting, poor sound editing and below par picture quality. So bad was the picture quality, the film could pass for a paranormal movie. This movie could be best described as a crash course on how to make a poor horror movie.

I've got a word of advice for you two.
If you don't believe in God and after Death you find out God exist you have EVERYTHING to lose, but if you believe in God and find out he exist or doesn't you have NOTHING to lose
Don't be a fool wise up I'm lost here. What are you on about and how does it correlate with my discussion with AHCB_?

AHCB: okay.
now your belief was made on already existing fact.
If you say you belief Kanu has won the World Cup, you belief will be false because the proven fact on ground is otherwise. In essence, it can be a two way thing, either true or false. Your sudden realization was what I'd implied from the get-go which you faulted by striking out the "usually" phrase from my post below. Beorn: It depends on the "reason".
Exactly, and belief, my friend, doesn't usually equates to FACTS. The emboldened is what you've finally confirmed |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 10:45pm On Nov 18, 2018 |
AHCB: to you, it does, to me, it doesn't. It's no different from theist and atheist arguing about their personal belief. So you see, no matter how much proof the atheist provide to the theist, they still believe in the existence of God. It's a personal thing. Correct. But as you have finally seen, it's all a BELIEF not FACTS. Which has been my point all along. belief equate to fact if and when that belief is proven. Which means beliefs CAN BE FACTUAL, which was what I meant. If I say I believe Messi currently has not won the World Cup which has been proven to be factual, then my belief is a fact. So, I'm right. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 10:33pm On Nov 18, 2018 |
AHCB: in my very first post to you, you read where I said "personally", right?
you make it sound as if i'm a prophet of time.
What I observed are my personal experience (opinion) Everything everybody do(es) has already been predestined. Now you're speaking my language. It's your "opinion/belief". Not facts. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 10:29pm On Nov 18, 2018 |
AHCB: so can you say reason impede freewill?
agreed. Yes. But a reason "impeding" on freewill doesn't mean freewill doesn't exist and that the life we're all living and all our actions have been preordained before we came into existence by Mr. Time pulling our strings from fuckknows where. Also, beliefs can equate to facts, so no need canceling that last paragraph. I BELIEVE you and I will die one day. Is my belief a FACT? A resounding yes!! |

We've herbalists and ritualists everywhere in Naija, they'd easily pluck out your eyes and harvest your brains, so you'd order for new ones on Amazon.
