Hmmmm, I would advise him to reshuffle the Nigerian Poice Force, he should strictly adhere to reports and advise from the SS people, and then, he should collaborate with Northern Islamic religious and community leaders to dissuade their people from terrorist activities. Finally, he should collaborate with the United Nations in resolving issues with those foreign countries that have been identified as Boko haram allies |
I've always wondered why female sales-personnel enjoy attending to male customers more than female customers. Each time I enter a shop or supermarket, I receive better treatment from sales boys than from sales girls. I've also heard my girl friends complain bitterly about the snobbish treatment they receive from female sales personnel in shops and supermarkets. Well, I didn't allow it to bother me until one day... I entered a shop to get some groceries and I saw two pretty ladies in their early twenties clad in branded t-shirts and jeans. I smiled at them and said "good evening" and none responded. Next, I handed one of the girls my shopping list and asked her to get me the items on the list. Instead of her to get going, she started assessing me from head to toe...she looked from my dreadlocks, down to my made-up face, my body-hugging top, my well-manicured long artficial nails, my handbag, and down to my ground-sweeping long skirt which concealed my shoes. I noticed a sign of disappointment written all over her face as she was unable to see my footwear. For a second, I thought she would ask me to raise my skirt for her to see my shoes. It was at that point that my husband walked in and gave me a wink, I winked back at him and smiled. Before I could say a word to my husband, this same girl who had not even talked to me since I entered the shop, rushed at my husband full of smiles and asked him what he wanted. As if that wasn't enough, the other girl who had all this while stood less-concerned at the other end of the counter also rushed up to him and asked the same question. I was amused when the two of them started arguing on who approached him first and who should be the one to attend to him. My hubby ignored them and asked me if they had attended to me, i answered him "For where?!" It was at this point that he asked them why they snubbed his wife and had not attended to her since she came in. Mehn! You need to see the shock on their faces! "Your wife?!" they asked at the same time. I smiled at myself as they chorused "sorry sir, sorry sir" at my husband without even saying "sorry Ma" to me. Sales girls sef! Make una take am easy! *Ladies & gentlemen, please share your experiences* |

Gbawe:Hahahahaha I laugh @ u and ur ignorance. 4 ur information, I'm far bigger than that, okay. I'm only saying d truth. If indeed laptops, u can go and meet elrufai to illegally allocate to u a plot of land in Abuja, as usual. Then u can sell d land and buy ur self a laptop. ![]() |
Pls Sir go ahead and do ur best in this War on Terror. Use whatever u've got, be it knowledge, wisdom, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, whatever u've got plzzzz. Nigeria is in God's hands and 9ja must be better! Amen |
@Mr/Miss/Mrs. Poster: Kindly tell nairalanders how many women or men you have slept with and how many abortions you have committed. We need to know this pls so that we'll decide on whether to vote for u or not when ur own time comes. We're waiting 4 ur answer and ur time starts now! |
Mr Dino Melaye is just being disgruntled because he's no longer in power. He's just a busy-body scratching here & there looking 4 Jonathan this, Jonathan that. Investigations and the probe are still on and proper prosecutions would be made at d appropriate time. |
In as much as I believe in beauty and ambience, I'm against dehumanization which d "el-ruffian" administration in FCT represented. The inhuman ways thru which he carried out d eviction of people from their homes without even giving them a chance to pack their belongings makes my heart bleed. I begin to wonder why he now comes out on twitter, etc to present himself as a "sanctimonious holy impeccable innocentia". The side effects of his atrocities must surely continue to haunt this Vampire wherever he goes, AMEN |
This seems to be a welcome development judging by d recent clamour 4 the re-deployment of these corpers posted to danger zones. However, it's good for everyone of them to be security conscious regardless of where they're posted. That u are in a supposed safe zone today doesn't mean u are permanently free from danger. |
Nana eh! I don't just understand why some jobless people would be searching the dust bin for dirt on other people. |
This is good in deed. Do not despise days of humble beginning. Baba God has blessed him now. |
I'd like 2 appeal to d victims whose properties were destroyed to pls exercise a little more patience since DANA is insisting that this is not a COMPENSATION but an alleviation to accommodation problems caused by d crash. As d Head Corporate Communication Mr. Tony Usidame said, "When d time of compensation comes", let us give them d benefitbof doubt and see what they'll do. But my question to DANA is "when will the 'time of compensation' come?". Secondly, I advise them to strictly adhere to international standards in d compensation proper. As 4 Madam Bidemi, Abeg u sharp joor! They say "a bird @ hand is worth more than a million in d air" Abeg no carry last o! |
Pastor Bakare is just an angry man, maybe he was deprived during his childhood, how can a pastor be always bitter?,he harasses people in his Church,I pity those who are the front row.Because he lost in the 2011 general elections,he is busy abusing the Presiident of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.Dr. Jonathan is more honorable in God's side than a so called man of God who does not know the God of men.Bakare,President Jonathan is your leader and you should respect him because he is above you. |
I don't believe FAROUK is a man of integrity neither do I think he's an honorable afterall. Why did he colllect d bribe in d 1st place? How can one collect bribe in order to expose another person as being corrupt, as he claims? What kind of excuse is dat one? Honestly, I'm eagerly waiting 4 d video to be out and let me see whether they would also claim the video was doctored or nursed or tailored or even engineered. And 4 Otedola himself, I reserve my comment 4 now, I'll still come 4 him later. |
El-Ruffian: Saint With Soiled Robes Indeed, E-Rufais arrogant wallowing in the putrid pit of corruption induces nausea. As Director-General of Bureau for Public Enterprise (BPE), El-Rufai could not account for N141 billion that had accrued to the nation through the controversial privatization programme. Quoting the belly-aching discovery of the senate committee, Daily Independent on Sunday, September 5, 2004, reported that under El-Rufai, the BPE only remitted N45 billion to the CBN but withdrew N35 billion a week later, leaving a balance of N2.4 billion in the account. Indeed, El-Rufai, characteristically, refused to sign the BPE 2002 audited accounts as required by law. In December 2003, El-Rufai also made the following questionable payments to a certain M.S. Hamidu for special services: N5,488,500.00 (Dec.17), N 8,119,355.00 (Dec.22), N10,850,000.00 (the same day), and N4,788,160.00 (Dec.22). |
LET'S HAVE A LOOK @ THIS ALSO: Mohammed Rafindadi Yar'Adua Must Prosecute El-Rufai Now For Corruption Author: Mohammed Rafindadi | November 14, 2007 There is no doubt that Nigerians, particularly residents of Abuja and its environs will never forget the atrocities of the immediate former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nasir el Rufai. There is no gainsaying in the fact that he had used his tenure to unleash terror on many hapless residents of Abuja and its environs all in the name of ‘correcting the distortion of the master plan’ of the city. It is glaring that el Rufai was from all indications not speaking the truth when he said severally that no matter whose structure was constructed on a green area, a sewage or water line, he will use his position as Minister in charge of FCT to demolish same in any part of the city. Even then, a number of affected Nigerians have described el Rufai as a big liar since there were developments sited on areas not earmarked for developments and in contravention of the master plan but he turned blind eyes on them because they were owned by some first class citizens. What is coming to light from his weak and desperate explanations is that el Rufa’i took advantage of the frenzy of their departure on the eve of May 29 2007 to get the ex-President to sign away public assets to the ex-minister and other top officials of the government. The issue is that el Rufai has admitted selling to himself, the former Vice President Atiku’s Guest house in question. It is revealing that el Rufai’s urge to buy the VP house came only two weeks to the handover of their government. According to him, he originated a memo, precisely on 15th May 2007 and allegedly got the President to approve the sale of the house to himself (and two other top-ranking officials) the following day! Why the rush to convert these public assets less than two weeks to their departure from government? It is pertinent to ask el Rufai some key questions as regards the sale of the guest house in question. Who valued the house, who determined the prices at which they were sold? Others are who originated the memo for their sales, who supervised the sales and who were they sold to? If el Rufai is the same person engaged in these series of unbecoming activities, how could he justify this abuse of his office as minister in charge of the FCDA? Is this not a conflict of interest? There are other questions that el Rufai must answer, to get the public to fully appreciate the level of looting that went on during the last days of the Obasanjo regime: Who are the two other public officers that were awarded the remaining Guest houses? How much did each of the three pay for the guest houses? How much did el Rufai in particular pay for the house he awarded to himself, and how did he pay for it? El Rufai had publicly stated that he equally applied to buy the FCT Minister’s house located at Life Camp which is equivalent to Government Houses in the States, but that the ex-president surprisingly refused to approve it. Is there a limit to his desperate quest to buy up Abuja? How many more houses do this land speculator and ex-administrator of the FCT convert to himself in the city? One can also recall that few days to his departure, el Rufai again engaged in massive sale of Abuja land, and in the process granted rights of occupancy to his companies, governors, ministers, his relations, and his cronies as published in several newspapers. It is important to at this juncture recall the recent rejection of about 38 plots in choice areas of Abuja as announced at a recent federal executive council meeting to 7 former governors, including Yar’adua himself, ministers and other very important personalities. The irony of the allocation of the 38 plots by el Rufai before he left is that they were all located in green areas, which are not sites for development purposes. Similar plots allocated in green areas by previous administrations and developed by their owners were demolished and reclaimed by him. How then comes el Rufai also allocated and refused to demolish the green area plots? El Rufai had always insisted that plots allocated in green areas were demolished and reclaimed by the FCT because of ‘overriding public interest and the need to check violation of the Abuja master plan’. Are the 38 plots he allocated to Yar’adua, former governors and ministers not covered by the need to check abuse of the city’s master plan? One is amazed that el Rufai is today trying to justify these barefaced looting of public assets! By the mere fact of his incestuous sale of former Vice President Atiku’s guest house to himself, el Rufai has shown that he is ‘a hypocrite who pays only lip service to the much vaunted anti-corruption crusade’. Before his appointment as Minister, el Rufai had, as Director General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises; BPE committed a number of blunders that have caused this country loss of dignity and billions of Naira. He was indicted by the national assembly and banned for life from occupying any public office for ten years for attempting to influence his screening as federal minister by the Nigerian Senate with an attempt to bribe them. This was however rejected by Obasanjo, another insincere anti corruption czar. It is however heart warming hearing Nigeria’s minister of Justice, Mike Aondoakaa saying that el Rufai will soon face trial over his indictment by the national assembly over corrupt practices.Specifically, Aondoakaa mentioned NITEL/PENTASCOPE deal in which el Rufai was indicted for his role in the sales of NITEL to TRANSCORP while he served as BPE’s Director General. The Senate indicted him and banned him from holding public office for 50 years. I have no doubt in my mind that el Rufia is a criminal who deserves nothing but total prosecution. Aondoakaa must do all within his powers to prosecute el Rufai. He had abused the trust reposed in him by Nigeria as BPE chief executive and federal minister. He must be made to pay for his selective and sentimental administration of the BPE and FCT ministry. Barrister Rafindadi Mohammed Katsina |
