Godsun :Nice suggestion, but then all these Human Rights activists would rise up to cry foul and claim that the right of Borno residents to their private life (as could be exposed by the mounted cameras) is being violated by the government. |
The impunity with which Boko haram members have continued to kill innocent citizens even during the Islamic Ramadan fast is a clear indication that they are not true followers of Prophet Mohammed's (pbuh) teachings. If they can't at least respect the Ramadan fast which was instituted by their Prophet, then tell me what kind of Muslims they are. |
Seriously, Tiwa Savage is the best thing that has happened to Mavin Records since the Don-Jazzy-DBanj break-up. If not for her, i would have buried my head in shame for pitching my tent with Don Jazzy's side. She is the only one in that group that actually sings meaningful songs, as for the others.....well, I no fit shout. As for D-Banj, that his Oyato & Don't tell me nonsense are just crap songs. The "Don't tell me nonsense" video is beautiful and has a nice concept, but the lyrics don't make sense at all. |
It's not a new thing. Wande has since indicated interest in floating his own label and Don Jazzy himself was supportive. There was a time some journalists interviewed Don Jazzy and asked him his opinion about Wande's ambition, and Don Jazzy made it clear that he is going to support him to actualize his dreams. So, this is not a beef matter as some may start insinuating here. |
Rubbish! The same way ice fish turned to mermaid in Ibadan. |
There's no need to condemn her yet until her own side of the story is heard. Nobody knows what the photo-journalist did or said to her that provoked her react that way. Some journalists can be troublesome and stubborn at times, some don't take simple instructions nor abide by rules, some are not courteous, all they want is to force their way into a place to get comments or snap pictures. Not all of them behave this way though, but I've seen some of them behave like that. |
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that serious quarrel ensued between the couple after one of their sons had allegedly killed a snake in their living room.In as much as i condemn what the man did, i still wish to advise women to desist from quarrels, nagging and behaviours that would provoke a man to strike you. Exchanging words with men tend to hurt their ego, and they can do ANYTHING just to protect their ego and make you know that they are in charge. |
Akinyelure regretted the act and apologised to the people, explaining that he cast the vote in error.Maybe he was sleeping throughout the session, and when it was time to say Aye or Nay, he suddenly woke up and shouted Aye as usual, without even knowing what he was saying Aye to. |
In abroad and in places where celebrities are real celebrities, you see paparazzi and fans running around celebrities to take their photographs. But here, what do you get? The reverse is the case. Here, celebrities organize their private photo-shoots and force their photographs down our throats: "Common see my pictures, you must see my pics whether you like it or not!" |
Nnaa mehn, This is classic! Many people used to hold the Prof. in very high esteem, but now, what has come over him? His behaviors of late seems to lend credence to the widely believed assertion that most over-educated Professors tend to suffer from mental imbalance during their later years. If he is man enough, let him attack the person of the President, and not a mere woman. It is very very very unafrican for a man to fight with a woman. |
Fash doesn't want to be seen as joining forces to fight the powers that be. Guyman wants to save his own head abeg. |

They are simply mentally deranged people, looking for escapist means of justifying their weird behaviors. Smhhh |
A similar thing has happened to me sometime ago, although it was some thousands of Naira. I went to an ATM machine to check the balance of my savings account and I observed that it was far higher than what I expected. So I went into the bank and asked them to check my recent credits, and it was observed that someone's December salary has been mistakenly paid into my account. I told the lady at the customer service that my salaries are not paid into that very account, and moreover, that amount was not even the value of my salary (the amount paid in was lesser than my monthly pay). I told her that they should try and discover the error and kindly pay whoever the owner of that salary was his hard earned money. And that was December salary for that matter! A month later, the money was still there! Well, I kept waiting for them to reverse the transaction, and I made sure any time I'm withdrawing money, I left enough money that would comfortably cater for the reversal. I can't reap where i did not sow and withdraw someone else's hard earned salary! Besides, I earn far more than the person, so why steal from someone you are better than. After about two months, it was reversed and paid into the rightful owner's account. It happened that his account number was just one digit different from mine and that caused the mistake in the first place. The thing that now annoyed me was that after debiting the man's money from my account, the stupid bank went ahead to debit me N100 for "out of branch debit transaction" (Because as at that time, my bank was charging N100 for every withdrawal or debit transaction you do outside your own branch). Yes, I know it's just N100! But why debit me? Was I the one that asked the stupid bank to mistakenly credit my account with someone else's salary? Even after I had been selfless enough not to touch the money, and even asked them to quickly correct the mistake. It's just N100, yes, but I sincerely hate it when someone tries to take advantage of my niceness and tries to cheat me! Afterall, the debit transaction wasn't done by me, it was a correction of their stupid mistake for crying out loud! |

SMH at some people's comments. This goes to show that many people on NL actually do not take their time to read the original posts before commenting. Who told you guys that the couple are disabled? Na wa oh! The 1st sentence, the last sentence and the last picture in that post should tell you the true situation of things as far as this wedding is concerned. |
A fact finding team of senior officers from the Defence Headquarters is reportedly in Yobe State for an on-the-spots assessment of the deployment of troops of the Joint Task Force in the State. The team was to pay particular attention to the security circumstances around the incidence of the attack on the Government Secondary School, Mamudo near Potiskum during the weekend. Led by the Chief of Research and Development in the Defence Headquarters, the team is visiting troops deployed in remote locations in Yobe State to verify the effectiveness of patrols and cordon and search operations directed at forestalling any further breach of security and tracking down perpetrators of the weekend attack. The team is expected to brief the CDS in respect of any requirement for additional troops and logistics for the operation in Yobe State. http://fmi.gov.ng/weekend-terrorist-attack-on-yobe-school-dhq-fact-finding-team-in-yobe-state/ |
You fire 7 shots at three people and kill them, yet u say it was done mistakenly. Infact, it's high time the Police force is reshuffled, reorganized and retrained. Their psychological and mental states must also be ascertained because this shit can't be allowed to continue. Meanwhile, justice must be done to this and every other case on similar subject matter. They must be made to reap what they sow. |
tellwsdom: Oh, she now sings fuji ??I guess you don't watch TV. |
I thank God for her. But i think she should take out time to observe some rest and eat well before going on set again. She shouldn't stress herself out. |
I just heard that the Minister of Education has called on ASUU to suspend the strike. It seems the Federal Government has stepped in to address their concerns. I just hope they would consider the plight of the students and the image/ standard of the country's education sector and call of the strike. There are better ways to fight for your rights and make your point. You don't need to jeopardize the country's education sector (which is even in need of serious intervention) to ask for money from the FG. |
I've always believed and will always believe that GOD IS REAL. I do not need any signs and wonders to believe in Him, The Most High God. These signs and wonders are meant to convince the doubting Thomases, and God has a way of doing things. I sincerely wish many people would repent and turn to the true God on the account of this news. |
Immunity clause in action! Today's politician have seriously turned leadership into a selfish do or die affair. Are these governors going to tell me that they are importing these weapons for the good of the people? Of course not, it's all geared towards a selfish drive to tenaciously hold on to power at all costs. The fact remains that if the Nigerian youths would rise up with one voice and say NO to political thuggery, then i wonder who these governors would give the guns to act as thugs for them. We all must have to understand that at the end of the day, it is the thugs that still get killed in gun battles, while the politicians live to enjoy their lives. A word is enough for the wise. |
The answer is number 7 Meanwhile, I'm just seeind it 4 the first time, and there may be others like me too. Don't u think so? |
Who is the funniest? 1. HAUSA man who removed his shoes to enter a taxi..... 2.IGBO man who went to the bank with a spanner to open a bank account. 3.YORUBA man who went to bed with a ruler just to know how long he slept.... 4. A TIV man who watched the news and waved at the news reader. 5. AN EFIK nurse who woke up a sleeping patient simply because she forgot to give him sleeping pills. |
Wondering why the display name is "reset". Suspicious of the authenticity of the real owner of the BB. |
Who does these bloggers think they can deceive? Me? Definitely not me. How do they expect us to believe that this is actually Paul's (P-Square) Blackberry. Anybody can change his/her BBM display name to anything. I can even change mine to Goodluck Jonathan. Does that make me GEJ? Why hide the BB PIN? They should have left it so that we can see it, and for people that have Paul's PIN to confirm. And then, when did using someones pic as DP amount to "official acknowledgment"? Abeg these bloggers should go and sell this story to Nursery school pupils. |
Well, it's good Michelle wore a cloth designed by a Nigerian. Kudos to the designer. But there's little or nothing "adire-ish" about that shirt. |
Ibigo: people are not comenting bcus most people are fund of itFond |
