It's been long I heard of Amotekun. I thought this is one of the reasons they were created. That initial support from South West governors are no more there. Unfortunately, some of the people behind the project such as the late governor of Ondo State are no more alive or in position of power.

Amotekun started to suffer the Nigerian dilemma almost immediately they were created. Ondo State Amotekun is yet to give the officers APPOINTMENT LETTERS till date. The guy that dared to speak up was haunted, his wife abducted since December and yet to be released.

The minister is a staff of the country and has security detail attached to him to deal with unexpected scenarios like this and they did what they were supposed to do. So why was Sowore trying to use the incident to chase clout ? Is he now a content creator ? This is where you young people of nowadays lack common sense. The minister allegedly owes someone N250,000,000 and after which he resorted to using the Police to harras the victim. The situation is a civil matter and if the minister feels he was wrongly alleged, he can take the woman to court and not resort to self help because of his office.
Sowore clearly stepped in here to caution the Minister for his excesses. These same things happen abroad all the time while you simpletons praise it but when it happens here, you criticise it. It's like Nigerians signed life time contract with slavery never to be free.

My GTbank account is still in negative of close to 300k today because GTbank was debiting my account even while money wasn't there and they were just waiting for the right time. After I paid in a 100k, it was taken and I logged in to see -296k still pending.
I called their customer care, they gave silly excuses of transactions I never initiated, no records of it in the transaction history, no email notification, no SMS notifications, no PIN request or any notice and these multiple transactions 3-4 went on without my knowledge. I went to the branch close to my house up to 5times without clear explanation, I escalated it verbally to the senior staff behind cashier but surprisingly he refused to check my account for clarifications! They all knew what was going on and they did this to many of their customers. The lady customer care from head office stopped picking my calls.
I wish GTbank luck going forward and I forgo my 100k they stole but the -296k will be there forever! I have never borrowed money from them in my life.
I escalated it to CBN via complaint email but still no resolution. I got tired and left it. This was my first GTbank and Bank Account opened around 2002/2003 in my undergraduate days and dey made me to forgo that account just like that...
