I am yet to see any public water supply in Owerri. My place of abode in Owerri is happily supplied with water through borehole as in the case of many residents of the town.

Back then when I was in school at owerri, the public water supply was still functioning, then Udenwa was governor. The taps stopped rushing when Ohakim and Rochas became governors.
I don't think public water supply will be brought back again in owerri. Things have changed you know.
