Education / Re: LAUTECH Increases School Fees To N300,000 From N120k by Berliner1: 8:54pm On Jul 21, 2018

Quality education is not cheap.

300k is fair enough provided students enjoy improved facilities

Everyone must not go to school, those who can't afford it should learn handwork

Have you seen lautech transcript before?

That university is the most useless institution in Nigeria.

Nice so you watch tv series over there. I thought illegal downloads is not allowed. So please tell me how do you watch these series and how do you get Nigerian music on your phone. Is there a way of bypassing the system?

I stream 24/7.

Download is illegal but their is a legal loophole your lawyer can use against them....so I download freestyle.

We know the system.

You cant work in Germany with another country visa or resident permit.

You can apply for asylum but your chance getting positive result is slim.

It doesn't still mean that it's getting outdated, as long as you submit the right sponsorship letter sir.
Yes, I am aware of fake SL, but as long as it's still stated on the checklist as one of the means of proof of sustenance, then it's still very valid irrespective of what is happening.
Though it's good to go with the letter (the right one) during your interview.

SL cant go outdated but the embassy can use discretion and increase the refusal rate for applicant with SL.

That's the situation in cameroun presently.

Few years back 95% of applicant are with BA.

Presently people do interview with BA, after few weeks come back with another story for SL usage....now they are seeing the trends that the story is plain ruse....

That's why they are changing it....interview with SL then no P. But interview with BA and switching to SL...very soon it will be outdated..am not here to ass lick or scare anyone..just pointing out the obvious fact.

Sponsorship letter isn't getting outdated oga!
It's actually a more legit way, as the foreign office can easily hold your sponsor, should anything go wrong. Please stop scaring people!

Lol...

I expect this type of reply anyway.....ask the camerounians what happen to them about SL.

Are you aware of clone/ fake SL detected at the embassy

When people abuse system its subject to change.

Bookmark this page.

Camerounians started the SL frenzy phase before it was technically stopped...

@oversworld, I was actually told by the visa officer who interviewed me not to present a sponsorship letter since I came with a block account opening confirmation, he even asked to enquire severally and adviced I shouldn't try it at all. so I don't know why he said so. Probably there is something about the use of sponsorship letter we really don't know.

Pls if there's anyone here who presented block account opening confirmation and later use sponsorship letter for funding successfully, kindly share with the house how you went about it, so that others in this situation will learn.

thanks

The visa officer is trying to turn the tide against Nigerians because over the past few months Thats what majority do.

However, he or she is just an ordinary employee at the embassy.

Sponsorship letter is getting outdated and in few months, they will stop issuing visa for SL applicant.

Please dont quote me if you are not vast with the system.

I'm still in Nigeria

You need travel insurance to pick tour visa....not health Insurance.

When you arrive here you can get health insurance easily.

Dont open insurance contract from nigeria because here insurance like AOK are divided along state line...ie..AOk Berlin is different from AOK Munich.

Bro, I have a Friend, a german girl, she's 23 and we've been friends for about 6yrs. She just stopped working(was working in an elderly people's home). She lives in kiel with her mom in her mom's bf house. We've been talking about seeing each other for like 3yrs now but we are both clueless, esp the money issue. Last week she was asking how much it will cost her to come to nigeria, I have no idea. She said she has about 1k+ euros which I told her won't be enough. Now my question is, can we do the family reunion thing as we are more or less dating, she only insisted on seeing me physically before she can finally decide.
Can we do the reunion thing? And how do I go about it. I really wanna leave this country

You need a document to show u guys are connected...marriage certificate etc.

At that Age I doubt if she have the financial capacity for such.

Are you sure you really live in Benin City?

A correct Benin person won't slack like this.
Because rule Number 1 you are taught when growing up in Benin City is,

"Don't talk to strangers, because they are gbomo-gbomo".

But you did not just talk to one stranger, you had a conversation with two!
But I don't think it's God who saved you, I think they just let you go because they saw you as too dull meaning you'd probably produce counterfeits and coins if used for money rituals.

Funny dude....your craze na grade 1.

Education is available but desired job is not, your skin is the first determinant most times bro, only lucky few get their desired job especially if not medicine or IT, even then you will feel the difference in race.

Where is desired job available without paying your dues? Mention the country.

Look for internship, werkstudent after that the rest becomes easier.

Move with people with positivity.

I know more than 10 Nigerians working after graduation here...its not easy anywhere...learn language, do internship, study courses in demand(not the likes of forestry etc)...connect with people and move out of your afro bloc.

Not only boredom, language and winter problem but also culture shock/lack of complete acceptance, type of job available for most blacks, racism and the system in place to keep you working to pay heavy taxes throughout your meaningful life.

Its your choice if you decide to end up working in lager for eternity.

The education and certification to be unique and get a desire job is available for everyone.

No vex sir but Ur epistle is not exactly accurate. The reason for being positive shouldn't be to make people want to steal.
Am just saying, when u highlight the good even it out with the bad too so that people can share from Ur wealth of knowledge.
Greetings from Dortmund

Thats true....one thing negative side about western world is the boredom or being stuck indoor during winter.

Language barrier for those u decided not to learn new culture.

However, the overall benefit here outweigh staying back.

Hello nairalanders my name is Michael.
Is good to join this family, I'm so happy with the answers here you people are doing a great work here.
I have some questions to ask?
1: I got an admission to do a language course in germany which I have a an appointment with the german embassy next week .
I'm worried I don't really know the required things(documents)
I need to come with?
2: I have been denied visa before, do I still stand an equal chance with the first timers
3: please and all your best advice in securing the visa. Thanks
The reason for doing the language course in germany is that I want to do a vocation training there on mechatronics

Since u have been denied before I dont think using language route is the best.

Whats your current status in german language?

Dear Cronsberg

You might not like these advice sha but ..... I had a similar challenge 4 years ago. Before i continue i hail everybody wey dey this thread, the gurus that made it happen till this time (HonorableSeyi, Futurewise (My guy my guy), Eke, Jigba etc ) . You guys are the best !!!
I had a 3rd class degree too in Electrical engineering. I wanted to go and restart in Germany however all my efforts were futile because most schools will only accept those that have minimum of 2.5 German grading and if my calculations are right, a weak second class lower might not even have a chance in these unis talk more of 3rd class.
So its better you start to apply for the bachelor's degree especially if your 100 level results are very good you stand a chance other wise. You can try Ravensburg weingarten and DUE.
Or you do like me start again with your transcript but of course not naija, Kill it and the German schools go give you admission.
You can even do first Year in another school and apply to Deutschland after you get the results but of course u know you will have to be on top of your game.
You can also use the these months of your certification to learn German in to B1 and attend studentkollege.
The issue of work experience i'm not sure how it is now but then it didn't work. because at that time i had work experience as an Electrical design engineer, had certifications on Automation,Instrumentation, PDMS etc Blah blah Blah Im not sure these Germans cared. All they will tell you is Insufficient Grades. You can still try of course.

I actually wanted to do the 1 year get results and port to Deutschland but my GP was too strong after year one so i stayed and finished so i can continue for my Msc there.
Its crazy thou but people don do am. i get admission for automation and control engineering now self i dey gather my blocked account money.

Finally Gurus Please Help how do we solve this Primary school certificate thing for interview because i don't have mine and i schooled in waffi. Is there any other way out ?

80% of the people here NOW cant know you.

How are u mr flange?
Longest time...so you are still coming here after all these years...hmmmm
Hope u never forget the few german u learn at Goethe?
Its nice to see old buddies here again.
I dey owe u beer and .......
