You are doing well, the gods are with you HiddenID: Good morning awesome people. Here's my latest:
MoneyFex transfer rate is currently N546 to £1
I used them last night at 10Pm after hearing some good stuff about them. I was credited this morning. This is my first transaction with them, so I can't really tell how fast they are as they needed to complete my identity check.
I used their website https://moneyfex.com/
I'm not affiliated with any of them, I just like sharing so that others can benefit |

You can try aqua they seem to offer a credit building card to help build credit record...but bros, use it as a debit card oooo Braket: Funny enough, I sort of have all of these.
I have a gym contract for over a year now, I recently just signed a mobile internet contract and also registered to vote. My name is on the voting register now.
The payment for these contracts are direct debit bill. So I seem not to understand where the problem is. |

£22/h is very cheap, you are lucky you got that. For a 'complete noob' start off with 15 hours, see how you go with that and then top up with prolly 5 hours or as required. penurypredator: ;DIn all honesty boss the least I’m seeing is £22/hr And plss how many hours do you think I should enroll for knowing fully well that I’m a complete noob. |

Read through the link Bourne007 posted and digest it. There are lots of people that will always give BS advises about laws/regulations not valid and how people are having their way....DO NOT LISTEN to them. gov.uk has most answers Teepp10: Good day good people.
I am on tier 2 visa with no recourse to public funds. Someone is telling me I can get child benefit on a child born here, that it'snot public funds. Is this true please?
I don't want any shikini money that will affect me during ILR application o, please come to my aid
Thank you |

To be candid, its gonna be quite difficult but then there are options. Factors to determine will be: Your profession or your spouse profession (This might be able to get you a tier-2), How much savings have you got up till now that might be used for studentship? @ bolded, there will always be hassle but you've got to overcome it. So much assistance here also. deegov: Hello house,

Welldone Mr LuvlyIva. You are quite right in your summation. You are doing very well in Nigeria, more than you would have done in the UK. |

I agree with you 100%. Especially with the new scam strategy called 'Local Content' - Nigerians are paid BS compared to those Indians and likes. An Indonesian was part of my team in Nigeria and I was his supervisor, but guy makes more than 10x my pay and more than 18x the pay of Nigerians in his job grade. Who be HR: Nigerian, Who be MD: Nigerian, Who is the problem: Nigerian! RalphJean: You stand to be corrected. Good. Yes, Black Nigerians can be RACIST against BLACK Nigerians. Ever been denied a job (by a Nigerian) in which you are 100% qualified, and same job is given to a Lebanese or Indian man who is only 40% qualified?
Remind me, what is racism again? |

Learning from awa Boris, check the response in bold Ace721: Hi fellow Nairalanders,
i'm in my final year at unical, i would really love to work and further my studies in the UK, but i have a few questions:
1. Is it worth it to leave Nigeria to work and live in UK? Yes and No, depends on the exact situation you find yourself and your plans 2. How easy is it to get a job? (I'm in the medical field, radiography to be exact) Easy and not easy, depends on you 3. Which city is the cheapest buh best city to start? Not sure why you dey find cheapest city What is the cost of living(rent)? Cheap and expensive, depends on you and what you want. Room share or 4 bdr house 4. Is it really hard to save money in UK? Yes and No. If you learn from history, history wont repeat itself 5. How much can i survive on for a month? Totally depends on you, but if uve got a job you might survive 6. Can i work while going to school? If student visa, 20 hours per week..nor think say you go exceed am oh
i just want to know if it would be a good decision to make, and to know what i would face whent i get there...the advantages and disadvantages. Advice on the way of life in UK would also be appreciated.
i'm waiting for a response, thank you in advance. |

Sorry oh, I actually tried to mind my business but that spirit wey dey always push Lexusgs430 nor gree me. How much do you actually think you can 'settle' someone with from <£60? When asking for such assistance, abeg nor put anything regarding settle. Baldwretch: Good day ma. Please I could use some help or suggestions.
So I have 10 pounds that I need to cash out for Naira. I also have another $50 in visa. They are all virtual cards earned doing surveys on my VPN. I am in a fix currently because I don't have any supporting UK or US documents to use these money transfer service. I tried Ace but I couldn't proceed when I had to submit these details. I am not even sure that the $50 would work with money transfer service because of the card issuer restrictions, but specifically for the £10, would you help? I will settle you. |

It is not compulsory to register for the update if you only need it for the first time or just the company you are with. If you will need it for other companies/purposes, then it will be IMPORTANT else you might have to keep re-doing the DBS. Update service prevents that by having your details updated each time and the companies can verify online. Also, note update is not available for BASIC checks. profemebee: Hello @Lexus
Does one still have to register for auto update service withing 2 weeks of receiving DBS Certificate? i got mine recently and didn't know about that.
My company arranged for me to fill the forms and all... did the checks.. and some docs got posted home.. |

Why not go to 'another country in Europe' also for three days so your comparison might be better of...also you could try to describe what you saw in 3 days, maybe we will learn one or two Bankalert: Just came back from the UK, London specifically on a 3 day visit, through my Office(Goverment office). My experiences so far have been a bit overwhelming. But to an extent, I wouldn't consider moving permanently to the UK. Within the three days I stayed and toured London, I learnt quite enough to know to remain in Nigeria if UK is the only option I have. I hope to go there for studies though this year and come back....
But my plan is to move to another Country in Europe after my studies in UK. Is this feasible? I mean using a UK certificate to work in let's say Germany, France or Finland for example. |
