What is your own this yaroba amala infested local champion. Come out of that rural state called oshun so that you can see light and excellence.

Why are you arguing blindly when you know that the yaroba university oau couldn't even qualify to be part of the competition in the first place.

Its the only Nigerian schools that qualified the prelimnaries that could participate. Of which your juju and goddes studying university OAU couldn't qaulify. A school where they use yeroba language as an official language to lecture students. I have always rated FUTA over and above oau

UNIZIK-Awka is the best place to study in Nigeria due to its reading, studying and research in all fields.

It equally boost of good serenity and infrastructure of world class standing.

Unizik stands for excellence that only admit first class intelligent students.

No wonder gaining admission in Unizik is so tough, only the super intelligent students makes it into the citadel.

Dude, this is your sad reality and good news for the millions far and safe all over Yorubaland.

I know you people like to beat chest unnecessarily, but underneath your chest, its all empty and shallow because we are all Nigerians and we know all about your villages.

See this azz hole amala infested local champ. Fyi the least town in the SE is far more advanced and developed than all the towns in SW with the exception of lagos which is former capital of Nigeria and was developed by Igbos and Hausas.

Its only in the SW that one will still see mud houses in the state capital from abeokuta to ibadam to akure. The most unlivable part of Nigeria is SW

GDP is not measured by build hotels in all the streets without creating employment, thereby making your people to run to neighboring states for greener pasture and better economic environment. Roches has borrowed and made imo state to be heavily indebted to the tune of over a hundred billion with nothing on ground to show for it. Imo state has been ruled by fraudsters from the time of ohakim till now. You guys should be wise come 2015

Abagworo: I've always put up a challenge for you and Peter Obi with Abia because you( with all your monikers) was always blackmailing other Igbo states. At a time you were mocking Orange drugs for siting his industry in your State. Why then did Peter Obi leave heaven and invest in hell?
You are quite pathetic. Ofcos Orange drugs found Anambra as a better friendly environment and good economic atmosphere than his own state of origin, that was why he didn't think twice to invest massively in Onitsha Harbour.

Peter Obi is not the owner of the Can company. Rather the Bank own by Peter Obi is financing the project in conjunction with Abia govt. Banks all over finance projects for their own financial benefits, that is exactly what Fidelity bank has just done.

PoliticsDisgruntled Politicians Want Igbo Presidency - PDP by bestview(op): 1:27pm On Mar 03, 2013
Peoples Democratic Party has said it has no information that the South-East geopolitical zone is agitating to take a shot at the presidency. It said such calls are coming from "disgruntled" persons.

More politicians from the zone and the apex Igbo socio-political body, Ohanaeze Ndi'gbo, have recently decried the area's alleged marginalisation at the presidential level.

However, the National Publicity Secretary, PDP, Mr. Olisa Metuh, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone on Friday, said the rotational presidency was no more relevant, adding that presidential candidates would henceforth be picked on merit.

He said, "I am not aware that the Igbo are calling for the presidency; you can quote me on that. I noticed that one or two disgruntled persons are saying it. Nigeria has gone beyond the equation of where a person (presidential candidate) comes from; we have transcended that.

"The most important thing is the capacity and the capability of whoever is heading Nigeria, and that is why we are looking at the entire country. It is not about where you are coming from; it's about your capacity and your agenda for the nation."

Reacting to the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha's statement on Thursday that PDP had failed the South-East, Metuh described the governor as a regional politician who should be ignored at the national level.

"I have directed the South-East zone publicity secretary to answer him. He is a regional player; he's not a national player. We don't need to reply him at the national secretariat," he said.

Okorocha, who was a founding member of PDP, had, while explaining why he pitched his tent with the newly formed All Progressives Congress, said he had nothing against President Goodluck Jonathan but his party, the PDP.

Yes ofcos we do not need to wash our dirty linen in the public. But we will not spare the rod to spoil the child. That boy abagworo is a thorn on the flesh of Ndigbo on this forum. He fans the embers of disunity so much so that he needs to be checked effectively. If extending the war to his kinsmen will so stop him so be it.
Study his text above, you will realise that he goes all about on this NL looking for trouble. Looking for a way to pitch brothers against the other. Take a look the manner with which he deliberately trying to cause disaffect between Anambra and its neighbours. Its uncalled for. That silly ediot abagworo should be severely cut to size.
PoliticsRe: Obi Inspects Golden Oil Industry Located At Harbour Industrial Zone-Onitsha. by bestview: 1:43pm On Feb 28, 2013
Abagworo: Why is Obi inspecting private owned factories and people are busy giving him credit for that? The companies are owned by the investors and came there because they found it profitable. What Obi owes them is to provide good roads and reduce their environmental difficulties. Other States are also having some investments but the Governors don't go with pressmen to take credit. For example inspite of T. A. Orjis years of mis-rule we've seen the 1st independent power project in his State, the worlds largest malting plant has been built in his State, Guiness has opened their 3rd Nigerian factory in his State, The largest aluminium can manufacturing factory in Africa is nearing completion in his State and many others. I believe those industries are there because Onitsha the city is traditionally industrial/commercial and not Obi. Maybe Amosun should be going round Agbara and Otta with press men inspecting people's factory.
Why are you always burning with envy? Why is Anambra always causing you sleepless nite and heartache? Why must you compare Anambra and elsewhere? Abia people understand that we are ahead of them in all indices of development including your rural state, but its not a problem btw us. However I challenge you told post link of the so called completed Malting plant, Guiness, etc

Why not you face your dry imo state where only pr/ostitu/tion, kidnapping and other ills are reigning supreme. There is virtually nothing in your imo state today but you had all the time to write thesis concerning Anambra. Even you brother Orange drugs left your imo state and relocated to Anambra where he built the largest soap manufacturing the plant in Onitsha. Doesn't he think he could build it in your imo state, its because there is no enabling environment.

Obi has done so much to bring multinationals to the state, he created the enabling environment, infrastructure for the investors as against your potbellied talkative gov who is busy borrowing billions and mortgaging the future of already poor imo state without nothing to show forth.

If you had read the passage properly you would have seen that Obi treat every investor with respect to know their various problem incuding land expansion.

Anambra is the pace setter and giant of the East.
PoliticsRe: Obi Inspects Golden Oil Industry Located At Harbour Industrial Zone-Onitsha. by bestview: 7:20am On Feb 28, 2013
kettykings: A PPP will suffice , the Government can partner some Chinese foundries and metallurgical complexes who can invest in Onitsha and Nnewi .Also big Indian firms like Mittal steel and reliance industries limited can also invest in this sector, Parts needed in the Auto industry ,Oil industry and power sector can come locally from this PPP venture.

why i am suggesting this is that the River Niger has been dredged so iron ore from itakpe and steel scraps from the North can be shipped down at a very low cost via river Niger from Lokoja in kogi state , while the Coal from Enugu can also be transported by road to Onitsha the Metallurgical training school in Onitsha produces the manpower who will turn these raw materials to finished steel products in a Mini steel mill in Onitsha and Nnewi and the products are converted to car parts in Nnewi and Onitsha and marketed to the outside world and west Africa from Onitsha , this would create a local steel economy and encourage the growth of other steel manufacturing outfits and reduce forex from imported steel products.
Automakers in Nnewi are already producing. Here is video from NGGT Team in Anambra.

Imagine onye 'Abia' talking down on the Light of the Nation. Go save Abia state which has been caged and held hostage since 1999. As much as a state like Anambra does not need the likes of Ifeanyi Uba to lead them because we have over and above over qualified materials more than your state can offer.

Besides if a messed and r/aped state like Abia should have the likes of Ifeanyi Uba in their midst as a governor that would be their a 'Messiah' for them more than what they have since time immemorial.

PoliticsRe: States' Public Debt Stock Is N1.8 Trillion by bestview:
adconline: This is a diversionary tactic that has been sold by Obi and his cronies. Lagos is heavily indebted, but it's investing in infrastructure, Iyiagu Awka estate cannot be compared to Udoka Housing Estate let alone Lekki. If Peter Obi is financially prudent, he could borrow money to boost the state's infrastructure. He has a house in Enugu, past SSG lives in Enugu. Most of his aides, commissioners, and contractors live in Enugu, why? Enugu has better infrastructure! Have you thought about the capital flight to Enugu due to lack of infrastructure? Udoka housing estate was built by Ezeife... Still the best in the state. Most Anambrians would rather live in Enugu than Awka.. Why? No infrastructure. A prudent governor borrows money to wisely invest in his state.I'm tired of hearing that Anambra is least indebted, but we should add that it is most infrastructurally challenged among her peers. Libya was least indebted, Dubai was heavily indebted, but people all over the world are ready to live, work and invest in Dubai! BTW, a prudent governor does not go around with 18 cars out of which 12 are Bulletproof Toyota Landcruisers.
My friend you don't have any meaingful point. Anambra is a state with highest population today peopled by members of SE. It shows that there are more people living in Anambra than enugu state. Obi may have a house in enugu just like every other person because being the former capital of eastern nigeria. His house in enugu was before Anambra was created. The SSG and other top govt officials has their personal houses in GRA-Awka where they live presently. They may equally have house in enugu as former capital, but that was before Anambra was created. Obi was born and bread in Onitsha bulk of his real estates and investment are in Anambra.
Almost all the people that use to have a house in enugu before Anambra was created are presently relocating and building their empire in Anambra. Udoka estate is filled to the brime same with Abuja est and Iyiagu. Diasporans has since bought over the new Ngozika est phase 1/2. Even those Anambrans that lives in enugu were people that got there before state creation, most of them have even relocated mostly civil servants

You talk about infrastructure: Anambra is easily a state with best road network even down to the interior communities. Anambra is fast becoming a one-city- state: one can live in Agulu and still being working in Awka, this is due good roads that traversed the state. Today Anambra has more good roads than even those states that borrowed unnecessarily.

Due to this wide spreadf development in Anambra it has led to economic growth, thereby attracting big investments and more bank in Anambra. The number of bank in Onitsha and Nnewi alone is over and above all the ones in SE. Anambra economy and cash mobilization ranks 2nd only after lagos, this is all because of good governance without having to borrow a dime. Some of those states without strong IGR are bound to crash sooner than later, because they do not have virile economy to repay the said loan more especially if the funds were not channel appropriately just as we are seeing in some of those states.

Already some of those state are classified by senate committee as financial dead states. Its just a matter of time before these states start witnessing the doom of reckless borrowing and mortgaging the future of the state with nothing to show forth.
PoliticsRe: States' Public Debt Stock Is N1.8 Trillion by bestview: 8:50pm On Feb 24, 2013
adconline: Now that you love ur Obi, you would rather live in Lekki or Aguiyi- Awka. Why do all his cabinet members have homes in Enugu? Infrastructural debt is OK . Someone like Obi who prides himself as prudent , could borrow to massively invest in infrastructure.
And where did you read that some of this heavily indebted states has more infrastructure that Anambra? Obi is among the top fiscally responsible governors in Nigeria. Living in Lekki or Iyi-Agu Estate-Awka has nothing to do with financial recklessness, afterwards both estates Lekki or Iyiagu are among the good places to live though with little plus and minus.

Obi has not borrowed a penny but he is still not lagging behind on providing infrastructure and dividends of democracy. Anybody could have house anywhere, it does not remove the fact that they live in Awka and its environs. Afterwards Father Ede is from Enugu state but he built the first Nigerian private university (Madonna) in Anambra outside his own domain. Does that take away the fact that he is from Enugu state and owns real estates in Anambra state.

cooltone: Its not true, I was in Awka early Jan for a wedding. The city has really changed with beautiful and fascinating edifices springing. I love the city, its good for relaxation because of its cool nature and serenity.
I just came from Awka today, I drove around the town, its still very far from a city. I went to udoka and on my way back I passed through amawbia. Its still a rural setting not close to a city in anyway.
Btw what is your definition of a city? That is aparcely developed, with land spaces in place does not mean its not a city. I don't believe cause my parents stay @ Iyi-Agu estate. I stay in Abuja but I visit Awka at least twice in a month to see my family, its one place that is changing alomost on daily basis. A look at udoka est or Abuja est will drive home my point. Besides Awka has some of good hotels and overall hospitality of cool too. If you really pass thru Udoka est, take a proper look at the estate, I have not seen an est well planned as such. The architecture are almost out of this world.
