You are very deluded, islam actually has the highest number of de conversions to atheism though most of them are covert atheist because of islam's evil apotasy laws. However a growing number of them are now coming out as atheist especially in the west. A recent anonymous internet poll carried out revealed that at least 5% of Saudi Arabia's population are muslims and this is a country that is assumed to be 100% muslim and this is not talking of another 10% of their population that are covert christians.

So if I know something is wrong about my religion, I should blindly stay there? Even in the church, we are warned about hell. Our preacher talks to us to receive God and be just in his ways, don't you think that it was because of the way catholics were, that there wasn't a form of one voice that gave birth to Anglican today? And Anglican hasn't split further because there seems to be one voice and the theories are put clearly before everyone. So is christianity in present day. If we are not okay with your doctrines and preaching, we have the right to ask, and we demand answers. That's why most of our christian ruled nations are like would I say forward and most islamic nations backward. They follow the laws of what thier rulers tell them or whatever thier imams say be it good or bad.

This is what I'm thinking, and I know so many people on here would think the same.

...The verse above address the BELIEVER..one who is convinced about the doctrines of the religion understands it and accepts it as the right path...such a person would have ask all logical questions which ultimately leads to his acceptance of the religion...although it is still obligatory that such a person keep seeking for knowledge

So the verse is only against irrelevant questions,, not scholarly questions....please kindly read the previous post carefully and be a bit laconic when quoting me please kinda busy

It is known that islam is a religion unlike many others which welcomes dialogues,questions,debates and reasoning...the prophet is narrated to have said "ask me ask me before you loss me" imam Ali is narrated to have said " knowledge is the lost property of a believer pick it up where-ever you find it",, it is also a famous narration from the prophet that he said "seek knowledge from cradle to gave,,and seek knowledge even it be in china"

The koran is also known to support intellectual and scholarly endeavors in many verses..some of which include

1-“Recite: In the name of thy Lord who created man
from a clot. Recite: And thy Lord is the Most
Generous Who taught by the pen, taught man that
which he KNEW not.” (Quran, 96:1-5)

2-“And they shall say had we but listened or used
REASON, we would not be among the inmates of the
burning fire.” (Quran, 67:10)

3--“Are those who have knowledge and those who have no knowledge alike? Only the men of understanding are mindful. ” (Quran, 39:9)

So what is koran5vs101 speaking about

Koran5vs101 speaks about irrelevant and unneeded questions, questions which would only cause arm and do no good..example of such question is asking where once dead wife,mother et al is in(paradise or hell) such questions could cause arm if it is revealed to the person for instance that these people are in hell...other such questions is what the koran speaks of in the above verse...not the general search for knowledge

Ask questions about how king of Kuwait had one of his sons become a christian, then you would know how you have been playing with yourself since you were born... in the name of religion.

speaking of statistics,,about 10% of the world's population are atheists and about 15% are atheists in america..atheism is also raising exponentially in africa....now kindly get your pen and paper find the population of the world and then find the population of 10% of the world and see for yourself..ok 1,2,,5,10, to 100 revert to christianity deduct this number and see how insignificant it is when compared to the number of atheist around the world.....why has christianity succeeded in training and raising atheists?

Was Adam a ruler? Ruling over who as there was nobody apart from himself in the then world. Did God need a vicegerent to rule? How weak is allahh that he needed an assistant?

Why should angels bow down to Adam? Was he to rule over them? Do angels or jinns and man live in the same realm?

I hate people making statement they cannot substantiate. You have no single reference to any source. You just decided to formulate lies as as your defence. Where did you get the idea of vicegerent?

Was Muhammad not a vicegerent? Was Muhammad not greater than Adam according to islam? Why are you not bowing down to him? If Adam was a vicegerent, Muhammad too should be one as he was even greater in islam than Adam.

If allahh has a vicegerent, it means he has a partner, who equally was worshipped by other creatures who bowed or prostrate for him. It will make no sense to deny that a vicegerent is not a partner.

If Adam was a vicegerent, why was Jesus not, afterall the quran says the likeness of Jesus is that of Adam? Then, why is allahh opposed to bowing down or worshipping Jesus?

Again, islam is satanic deception.

like I said the bowing down is to acknowledge adam and mankind as the best of creatures even the bible stated that man was created in "God's image"....and bowing down here is used in the sense of humility

My sincere apologies totally forgot that I was dealing with an ignorant person as regards the verses of the koran, one who unintelligibly cherry picks some verses of the koran and turns a blind eye to other...and ultimately comes to unleash his ignorance on NL

1st--Behold, thy lord said to the angels "I will create my VICEGERENT on earth--koran2 vs 30

2nd--and behold We said to the angels "Bow down to Adam " and they bowed : NOT so iblis
-koran2 vs 34

3rd---Allah said "o iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to ONE WHOM I CREATED WITH MY HANDs? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high ones?

4th- iblis said "I AM BETTER THAN HE" thou createdst me from fire and Thou createdst him from clay

---so it is seen in the 4th verse that iblis only refused to bow because he feels he is better than mankind not because he feel that mankind isn't god...so the prostration isn't a sign of worship but a sign of humility again

---it is in the africa culture that one should bow to his parent or to an elderly person as a sign of humility not as a sign of worship as you have wrongly stipulated

bowing down before christ is disliked in islam because it is done as a sign of worship ...the bowing down to adam as a sign of humility isn't just to adam but to the vicegerent of God on earth "mankind"

Here is the full and better interpretation of the sin satan committed

1st God stated to the angels "I'm going to create my caliph (vicegerent) on earth

Who is a vicegerent-- a vicegerent is a person exercising delegated power on behalf of a sovereign ruler(google)

Now asking the angel and the devil to bow down to man is only to acknowledge his vicegerency and power and as a sign of humility of other creatures to him as the best of creatures not as a sign of worship

This is evident in the response of iblis to God when God asked him why he erred and refused to bow..he said "I am better than him"

So the sin of iblis isn't a refusal to worship adam, but a breaching of God's command as is evident in the verse you posted and a display of gross arrogance and pride

^ first is the koran is a complete book

Second is its not the hadith but the sunnah of the prophet that we are asked to follow,,we are asked to follow these sunnah as it is in line with the teachings of the koran as the koran clearly states that prophet Muhammad does nothing outside the tenets of of the koran

The hadith are only alleged sayings,some where compiled by people who aint even there during the time of the prophet and to cap it up they were compiled by humans...so there exists chances of errors and mistakes

So we do the needful and put aside whatever hadith is not in line with the koran as the koran is our criterion for the authenticity of any book

Maybe you should make some findings regarding the compilation of the hadiths

Bukhari (60:80) - "The Verse:--'You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind.' means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam."

To you, that is jihad.

The verse above speaks of a universal submission to the will of God "like I have clarified in your previous post....universal submission in the sense that they exists some laws of nature which overwhelms you and you cannot disobey e.g every living thing must die....

The word jihad is struggle or strive,,if the word jihad means battle or war prophet mohammad wouldn't summon us to make jihad against or lustful selves

Like I have said and always will say the hadith isn't a criterion for the authenticity of the koran,,,the koran speaks for it self....so if you want to discuss the koran discuss the koran

the verse speaks of the true muslims the true followers of the islam,,yes there are a lot of ignorant muslims who have by virtue of their ignorance abused and interpolated the teachings of islam..well that doesn't mean the teachings of islam aint perfect

Like a wise man once said islam is perfect it is muslims who are imperfect.....it is like a school,which gives an examination and it turns out that some failed the examination...it cannot be said that the school teaches failure,,cause the question will also be asked "how about those who passed the exam, are they not in the same school with those who failed?

Well you've made some mistakes in trying to connect the first verse with the second..

The first verse speaks of an ignorant person...one who knows little or nothing about the religion and maybe confronts the muslim in a dialogue,,in this case we follow the verse of the koran which says "call people to the way of your lord peacefully" that's what the verse explains

The second verse speaks of a disbeliever one who knows the truth about islam, is convince that islam is the right path but due to sentiments or "pre-hatred" chooses to remain on the side of disbelieve...such people are dangerous and will only strive to the last pinch of their blood (like the devil) to see the downfall of islam,,making use aggressive and rebellious means to call (force) people away from islam,,they use unjust and tyrannical means to force people away from the true path,and finally try to block all channels through which people can receive the good news of islam (even the biblical stories are not devoid of such people)

And islam as asked us as believers in the context of the second verse to strife against injustice,oppression and evil,, it is our responsibility as humans in general

The first verse in question speaks of the UNIVERSAL submission to of creation to the will of Allah..I.e every living thing must die weda the like it not,they submit to the laws of nature et. Cetera ...in other word they are subservient to His will

the other verse speaks of a legislative submission,,such laws can be discarded by men of little faith if it doesn't give them the illusive freedom they desire---this type of submission goes hand in hand with free-will that is why reward is given to the obedient and punishment to the disobedient..

There exists deception because the human race was endowed with a rare gem "FREEWILL" ...its like fire-as you know if fire is with the right person he uses it resourcefully while thesame fire in the hand of the wrong person leads to destruction

Fire has a beautiful essence and this essence is only realized when put to right usage...same applies to freewill....so deception is only the result of the defective usage or the abuse of freewill

Now as to why deception is part of free-will....free will gives man the choice to either seek beautiful truth by appealing to his sense of judgement and increasing his knowledge,, and shouldn't allow sentiments of what ever sort to deter his search for truth....on the other hand he has the choice to sit idly and remain ignorant,in this sense he falls for what ever news comes to him and his blown around like a wind-this is the case of abuse of free-will,,

This technique separates those who have really and truthfully searched for truth from those who haven't-and on the long run ignorance(when the opportunity to know is their) wouldn't be an excuse

Its like a soldier preparing for battle,he has the choice to go with all of his armory hence making him less vulnerable to attack by the enemy,,this same soldier can as well choose to drop all his armory,hence making him vulnerable to attack

This is how people die in their sleep and nobody could explain what happened except the dead who is already dead.
Scientist call it sleep paralysis, but what I experienced was not sleep paralysis.

This happened to me back in school. I had just visited my mum who was in the village mourning my dad to give her money for her upkeep.

My uncle started asking me personal questions acting all nice to me. Requested for my school address, I told him and then he said he always pass that route that he ll stop by whenever he's going thru d route.
I said no problem.

I left that same day back to school.
That night I prayed, kept my Bible just above my head close to my pillow b4 I slept.

Then next thing I cud remember was a man dragging my right hand and pulling me away from my body.

I was struggling with him but he seem very powerful and me, weak.
I look beside me, my friends were sleeping, I kudnt see d face of dis man, he was all dark, he wore a dark robe, d room itself was dark, but d moon light reflection frm d window was wat I was using. All dis happened very fast.

While he was pulling my right hand, I remembered my Bible, so I stretched my left hand, got hold of my Bible, then hit d man with d Bible, and immediately he left me, I returned back and woke up.

No matter what any scientist tell me today about that, I know what I experienced, and I know there's God and there's Satan.

Ur free to believe what u wish.

yes..some-one also narrated a similar experience to me,,someone much older and educated than me,, and he went ahead to call it a spirity thing and happens when you are spiritually paralyzed or rotten,,in this sense the negative powers will have dominion over you,,and some people die from this experience

And he finally said he was only able to escape the struggle after reciting some verses of the koran..and you've just gave a similar experience that you hit the being with your bible

To cap it up..maybe you need to empower yourself spiritually
