Eat well ok, veggies, fruits even carbs for energy. You just passed through an ordeal both physically and emotionally, don't forget that ok.

Sweet sis, of course you are expected to feel low, please who wouldn't? I concur with seeing a counselor and like mommy Alpha said, ask in the hospital where you did the evacuation. I want you to have just one thing in mind, you got out Sweety, you did it. That alone took strength, many couldn't and died in it, lost their self esteem or just decided to take their lives, but you got out, that's strength, that's being strong, that's knowing what is good for you. I am and I believe all mamas here are proud of you. If you can, give yourself treats. Rest and pick yourself up. Do crazy things like mommy Prettyhurts suggested. Have fun. If you are in a rural area, look at every single bird you can find, every leaf and every tree, imagine how they grow, what tells them to grow, what tells them to bear fruit, how they know they are supposed to bring forth beautiful flowers (for flowers). Let them give you strength ok. It is well with you.

Don't know how true it is but it sure worked for me while preggy with my 1st baby. My mil told me to gently rub that site and tell my lo to move to a good place and stop hurting me, I did it and it worked for me. Maybe you can try it. Pele e hear.

I didn't wanna comment cos I know you are already passing through pain. I'm soo sorry about your baby and from the depth of my heart I wish you well. I also want to let you know that I believe in the power of prayers. I know what prayer has conquered for me not just in marriage but also in life. But you see this your case eh, its somehow dear seriously. When it involves wife battering, not just from your husband who should protect you btw but also from his family, please I will advice you to pray from a distance. Na person wey dey alive dey pray ooo. If it were to be that your hubby was on your side, ehen, but he isn't. How many times are you going to lose your child through their maltreatment. Aren't you from a home? Please what have you done for your family? Or you feel they don't need anything from you? Your mom that gave birth to you (atleast you have seen what women go through), please what have you done for her? What have you achieved in life? Your wish in life is it to just get married and get beaten and die? Do you think God will gladly welcome you to His abode if you were to die in this? What kind of inhumane treatment is this? Subjecting a preggy woman with health issues to beating? Are you now a customer for that hospital? Think it well ooo my sister. Go to your mirror, look at yourself and tell yourself that you deserve better, you matter a lot, if not to anyone, to your mother, you wonderfully matter, so you owe it to her to stay alive. I will advice you to leave your home physically for a while and hammer your prayers. I'm all for making sacrifices ooo as far as I know I'm safe. Please think this thing well ooo. So i was induced at 38 weeks. Yes i did not wait for labour to kick in, for health reasons and because i dont understand the waiting for 40-42weeks sef! I had two sets of gynaes, the highrisk ones wanted me to wait while they monitor things every week while the regular gynae agreed with me that since baby n i are fine and full term then why wait for any chance that it might change in two weeks.

-So they induced me with an insert called cervidil, they placed it on my cervix for 12 hours. It looks like a short tape rule, they will push it in and leave it for 12 hours till they take it out. I was 0.5 before they started and by 12hours later, i was ordinary 2cm. Contractions had started after like the first 2hours and had been coming closer. To occupy my time i was counting the contraction time with my mom so my husband left us to come back when it was like 10hours time.

They took out the implant at 12hours and started oxytocin IV, this was 12.30am. By 1am, 2am i kept standing up to vomit but nothing was coming out, i wanted to poop too, nothing. By 4am, contractions were like 3mins apart and super painful so i beg nurse to check again and im just 4cm. I think my brain got hot when i heard that. I was thrashing with the pain and ordinary 4cm?!? Nurse had promised to give me epidural by 4cm so i was screaming where's my epidural. She said she would call the anaesthesiologist and prep me and that's how she was doing that outside n wasting time when i told hubby i feel like im pushing. I was shouting the pain doesnt stop, why is there no break, the pain keeps coming. I was thrashing by now. My mom says her heart broke knowing she couldnt help me.
So my husband calls my nurse to say she says she's pushing. My nurse says thats not posdible she's just 4cm. So she checks again and screams OMG! ure 9.5cm. Im shouting where's my epidural. She says honey if you sit up for epidural this baby is falling out. I tell her she lied to me, we had a deal, 4cm-epidural, im crying now. She presses all the panic buttons that she needs all the doctors now, her patient just jumped to 9.5cm. Before the doctors come, she gives my mom one leg n my husband the other to hold. Like 5minutes later they're saying they can see the head, which head? I turned to my husband, is it true? He says yes its true i should push again n he's smiling. Minutes later my princess, my lil Matilda arrives after 5am.

Ps. Throughout the pain from 12midnight to delivery my dh would be whispering to me, u can do it, dont give up, dont say ure tired, ure almost there! etc. My mom asked me afterwards what he was telling me. It helped a whole lot.

Any other mom with autoimmune ish! You can do it God that helped me will help you. Just be open to CS If needed or preferably sef and do family planning after, dont be getting pregnant soon after. The doxtors made me sign that if the induction wasnt successful i would do CS. I told dem no wahala now, even some people who go into labour by themselves still do CS.

Ps. all those mommies that feel proud of themselves for doing vaginal and use it to insult other women, pele ooo, ure not strong, ure just lucky or blessed, i hope u realize it one day.
Vaginal delivery hurts like a MF, CS i will try next time n compare unless my baby disagrees n comes by 38weeks. 40weeks or later is not my deal. My baby is 4weeks now. I cant imagine just going to labour now, like kilode?!? I used to talk to my baby, madam here's the deal, momi is too excited to see u, so either come by urself or accept that i will encourage u out. Agreed? I think she said Yes

-Turns out my nurse had called my husband out to explain that my lab tests showed my platelets had dropped too low for them to give me the epidural without risking that i wont stop bleeding after delivery and need transfusion. They were trying to find a solution when i started to say i was pushing.

Ps. Sit over hot water after u leave the hospital. The steam sitz bath its called. Yorubas make u sit on potty but if u can get this plastic (see pic) they gave me in the hospital and place on toilet seat its more convenient. Steam seating works like magic for flattening ur stomach and removing some thick chunks of blood. I couldnt believe what fell out. My mom wanted to make me do it for two weeks morning noon and night. I think i quit after one week.

So I'm officially registering again, according to my LMP my EDD is 15 February.
Please mama's how did you curb ms, this thing is really killing me. With my daughter I didn't experience it this early, it even started at 16weeks. I can't put down anything in my mouth without throwing up, I've tried tomtom, cheese ball(was my savior with my first), bubble gum but still nothing is working. The only thing that survives in my tummy is yam or bread.

Awww, congrats ma, saw your post in your dayari. What worked for me was bitter kola. Some mamas swear by dates seed (dabino), I didn't try it then cos I was bleeding and I heard dates aids contraction. Mommy Zaynie compiled a list of stuffs mamas here used in dealing with ms not quite long. Maybe you can go through her posts and find out. Sorry ok, the end is near

I think 36weeks might be late oo. Have heard of someone that traveled at that week and gave birth the next day. Can't you make it by 34th week? To be on a safer side. All the best ma.

Another mama talked about bonjela abi wetin, said can be gotten from a pharmacist. I made note of them cos I really suffer that bullet when I birthed my 1st baby. Then up your fruits and veggies intake ok.

Sweetheart, of course you can cope. It's your home too. If he says you should carry everyone along, try and do so in some situations, not all. Like mommy B said pick your battles. Please most importantly rest!!! As in lie down, carry the thickest blanky you can find and cover your ears. When he sees you are serious, him go rearrange. I can't wish a miscarriage for a single lady not to talk of a married one. It's not something a human being should pass through seriously. The guilt you will feel alone can kill someone. Please rest!!! If there is no one to do the things you ordinarily should do, make that thing dey there. Please rest!!! There is no award for being a Jackie ok. It is well with you. Ensure you go to the hospital too. Find your way around it. This is your life dear, not anyone else's. You have the charge of your life, try and stand your ground on this ok.

thanks all. I had fibroid and on the 3rd of June it pushed the baby out just two months to due date. the baby was rushed to LUTH for incubator facility but died yesterday after waiting for some years to get pregnant and it ended like this.

Biko I've a question, is confusing me.

I'm 4days late asin I've not seen AF for 4days. My ACL was 25, but after giving birth it changed to 23 but later normalized. I've tested with home pt but reads -ve. Now I'm having a little spotting (light brown), noticed it only in the morning but won't see it again (today is the second day) Googled it was seeing implantation. Tested this morning was - ve again, should I go for blood test or wait till next week to check again. Didn't notice this with my mini me, missed AF for 3days and viam it was +ve abi is my hormone playing with me.

What I did was to pack in two bags. One smaller bag for delivery stuffs and the other one for myself and my baby. I placed my baby's things in the bag first then I used his flannel that I won't use in the hospital to separate my clothes from his. After I had my baby, I then transferred my things to the smaller bag and his was in the bigger bag. I didn't use the flannel again until I had it washed. Hth.

The laziness 4 me to type these days no be here.
Always getting this almost debilitating pain on my right hip/bum after getting up from sitting or laying down. Plus feet also swelling up a bit.
Counting it all joy and I can't wait to meet my little angel.
Had my Cerclage removed a few days ago, so I have officially commenced countdown
We're 37 weeks, I still can't believe I have come this far, God has been compassionate ,merciful and too good to me, typical case of turning my captivity and it all looks like a dream (deut. 30:3, psalms 126:1)

Present cappo, just waking up. Am fine by his grace. Jesus get me big time, he promised never to abandon me on dz journey & truly he was too faithful to fail. Testimony time : i went 4 anc today, I was having malaria symptoms so I said make i go see my gynae, dh followed me so no apriko for tfare, he carried me straight to hospital. After complaining to doctor dh said if possible dey should admit me & treat me so dt i wont develop malaria proper. Na so d doctor said no problems dt he ll give me infusion wt antimalaria dt i should go & lie on the bed. I was gisting wt dh while the infusion was going on na so my tummy come dey change shape, see contractions. Chineke I was shouting like mad woman dt my date z far dt am entering labor. My baby was kicking around as if something dey pursue him. Na so i remove the drip myself dt i don't want again. D nurses were like i should have waited for doctor to come dz that, madam i ttc for 23 tearful months to get dz baby so I don't take chances with dz pregnancy. My sisters na so doctor came & guess what na pitocin dey put for drip instead of arthemeter. I no fit shout na so i carry my self go home. Heaven knows i wont cross dt hospital again, the contraction has stopped went to scan to know if placenta detached but everything is still intact. Biko team July join me praise God
