Health › Re: HIV/AIDS Vs Cancer by Beync(f): 3:02pm On Oct 31, 2011
odiaero:
@ OP, Why Hiv/Aid is getting more attentions is because u will contact it when u Be Intimate with somebody that have it, but u cant contact cancer when u sex somebody that hv cancer, that is just the reason
True
ATLgal:
Cancer is hard to define, it isn't really any ONE disease it's the name for a GROUP of diseases. . plus there's no stigman associated with cancer. but there is with HIV, Cancer can be "cured" at times, HIV can not, you can't infect people with your cancer, you can with hiv,
honestly, most people would still rather have cancer than HIV
true.
plus life style of some country people increases the chance of gettin cancer. Like use of drugs, cosmetics and junk foods of which the Nigerians are not worse as compared to the much developed wests.
HIV deserves more publicity because large population of people of which most are not informed indulge in sex, and even unsafe sex courtesy ignorance which is major source of transmision, so hiv deserves much publicity as well as cancer

In my state, my community in particular, A professor is a well learned person, refined, respected not because of his words of mouth but by proven track records of achievements in his educational, social and economic status. He is organisez, has a great deal of practical experience in his/her field. His/her knowledge/experience is somthing to tap from.
Unfortunately, these folks are here running mouth how they produce professors for their neigbours, for what use? They should help develop themselves first then talk about your neigbours.

People dat hav good natural resources in their homes but they cant tap it, they call it gods and worship stone

Romance › Re: How Can I Tell If My Husband Is Married In Nigeria Or Was Married Before? by Beync(f): 9:32pm On Oct 29, 2011
From what you said, you  married him when you came to visit him in Nigeria possibly both of you were fascinated by love that you could'nt hold but decided to be in union. Well, it happens sometimes it work out for some involved while it does'nt for others especially in this case where your man hav not been to your state and might not be well and fully intergrated into the lives of people outside his cultural and social background.

If i may ask, where did you get married to him? did you do township wedding? where the man or woman may not know where his/her partner helds from but go into marriage. did he take you to his his home? did you meet his parents and relatives? because if you did meet them it wont be hard for you to find out from any of them you are in terms with whether you husband is for real or not.

However, being defensive instead of calming, clarifying or amicably settlings  issues when arguement arise is a bad signal, dont live in obscure, try and talk to him and other usefull persons you can reach. it's not easy what you may be passing through but dont rush to divorce till you are fully convince of  what is on ground.
Strange huh?  It is interesting how SOME of them were chauvinistic with their black counterparts and bottom bitches to their white counterparts.  Inferior complexity much?

Many of them beats their wives/hoes for not cooking meals and cleaning the floor but playing Mr. Clean to the Oyinbo chicks.   Fuckery to the fullest.

Money make SOME people do things they wouldn't dare otherwise.   lipsrsealed
It's quite pitiful how them living in self denial
how some men take poo from a white, mehn this is shits!
Just becos u want to be associated with levels raised above ground
u loose this white damsel and everything would jus go down with u, u loose "ur visa"
how doin onethings with or for a white makes u more cuturally or socially adaptable
and doin the same things for their black fellow makes them inferior, some hypocrites.

What impression did you give her at first? that you are a single young man ready to go out undecided

If you make it clear to any girl that you are in relationship, infact serious one and she is still

clinging to you then the girl must hav slow brain

U dont want to hurt her hmm, u better hurt her now before she goes far with you and you finally hurt her
Romance › Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Prefer To Date Mostly Nigerian Or Black Men by Beync(f): 4:07pm On Oct 20, 2011
Cultural difference.
Africans hav value for mariage and her black
brother is aware of this and his is from d same background

Also, in some cases marrying a black woman also means marrying her relatives

so a black woman marrying a white is almost cut off from all these extended families

cos it co could  jus be u, your hubby and children and maybe if he agrees to hav any

woman love close ties between families and would love to show off those stuffs

their husbands bought for them during seasons. where else is sweeter if not home.

BTW, some white countries still hav this prejudice against blacks, who would'nt  want to go

where you' l be welcomed and loved without prejudice?
Christianity Etc › Re: What The Bible Say About Sports! by Beync(f): 2:03pm On Oct 19, 2011
@Daiguiri, this is the 2Timothy you quated;

7. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith. 8 From this time on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me as a reward in that day, yet not only to me, but also to all those who have loved his manifestation.

The wrestling bible talks about is not a physical one. Note, Ephesians 6: 3-6, finally go on acquiring power in the lord & in the mightiness of his strength. Put on the complete suit of armor from God  that you may be able to stay firm against the mechanism of the devil, because we have wrestling not against blood and flesh but against the govts, authorities, and the world rulers of this darkness,,,,,.
The bible is in no way encouraging us  to prepare for physical fight as is been practiced today. The wrestle is a spiritual one of which paul knows that the children of God are going to face attacks from the devil hence the need for us to equip ourselves like a spiritual soldier. “ On this account take up the complete suit of armor from God. Therefore stand with your loin’s girded about with truth, and having the breastplate of righteousness and with your feet shod with equipment of goodness of peace. Above all things, take up the large shield of faith , with which you will be able to quench all the wicked burning missiles’’,,,,,,…,
It is no doubt that we need physical exercise for  our healthy living, enhance emotional health, mental alertness, balance flexibility, development of strong bones, muscles and for prevention of ever weight and obesity. However, the origin of so many sports activities, the spirit of competition associated with the world sportst is something one should dig into. As someone has rightly said

From what I can remember concerning Greek mythologies, the running athlete carrying a burning torch in today's olympics is symbolic with the tale of promotheus who is said to have stolen fire from the eternal burning altars of Zeus and his wife Hera. Fire was a symbol of eternity/life in those days. I know I'm deviating right now but everything from the olympics,"christian festivals, days of the week/months and even a lot of practices done in church today ALL have idol worship backgrounds

Sports activities has to be fun partaking, focusing on the enjoyment and benefit of staying in healthy and good shape, but in world sports, winning is everything, this creates an environment where the venerable suffers. It it very low to maintain a balance view of winning and losing in competition. The bible calls unbridled rivalry “ vanity and striving after wind”
World Sports tend to fuel unhealthy spirit of competition
