But I checked Malachi and Hebrews in my Bible and found out God will have me pay tithe 10% of my earnings, although my Pastor preaches it but my conviction to obey and give tithe is far beyond what he preaches and I decided I will give God among other things my tithe. After obeying the tithing Covenant for years, even God knows I can never fail in that regard. I have no regrets.

Freeze is too infinitesimally inconsequential to tell me if tithe is legit or not.

I have far outgrown the level of been confused on this matter. I decided and that's it.

I am Nigerian turn Canadian and shouldn't really bother myself about Nigeria politics and the fate of Nigeria having switched..I ain't from the East but Obi has my vote 100% if voting was allowed in diaspora.

Why? Obi represents Nigeria best ever chance to get it right in leadership. Any stupidity by Nigerians to not vote that man in using tribal and religious sentiments come 2023 its regrets, penury, hersdmen killings unrestrained, suffer and poverty continue! Period.

Earlier this year, I went back in time to few years back when I was doing so well in Nigeria. The noises from friends and all nurtured the decision to move abroad inside of me. I became so restless till I finally leave. The first day in Canada was the day I knew this place isn't where I can be forever. Most of us would have come back before the time we had in mind except for the fact that I don't still have enough. If I want to travel to naija for vacation now, I will need up to $4k. If I take that away from my savings, I don't know how I can recover.

No one tells about the downside of this place. I feel lonely, depressed and empty most times. Because no one to talk to, just everyone in my workplace goin about their business. If I make attempt to talk to them, they just waive it with a smile. It's been 3years here and the people I still talk to on video call are friends from Nigeria. It's been 3years and my savings is still Short of $20k despite how much my friends in Nigeria do tell me how easy it is for me to make money abroad but I never tell them my situation. I can't wait to make enough and leave Canada for good. I know a lot will come at me with the usuall "come back to Nigeria na", please this is not an attempt to denigrate your abroad heaven, just for me to rant out and be fine

Your experience is not applicable to everyone. At least not for me or my brother or the few Nigerian friends I know here

I came into Canada over 7 years ago for my PhD programe.

Today I am a citizen, have a good job and wonderful colleagues. I am the only black guy in the office team.

I have a few friends here in my city that I connect with.

Nothing missing, No regrets in any way.

All I need God has provided by his MERCY.
I thank him everytime.

If you are an introvert, you will navigate well here because the system is a kind of mind your business system, however you will still meet a few Canadians who go out of their way to relate with you and strike a conversation. If you are an extrovert, it may be a frustrating time for you except you make new type of friends that love to relate with people and go out too..then you may not feel the impact of loneliness.
