Do you know that the unfortunate synagogue collapse case actually had approved permit but it collapsed at some point.So a lack of approved permit wasn't a factor in that building collapse? Some other things were wrong that could also have been wrong with any other building out there that might cause the collapse of the building.

Ask the same state government that planned to build mosques with state government money in all part of the states, if these Churches did not apply for approval or allocation of land and why were their requests frustrated?
I served in Jigawa state for one year immediately the state was created, to secure a place where we can meet for service, my church had to approach another pentecostal church to use their own make shift church building far away from the centre of the town where we lived because the state government will not allow us to even pray quietly in our house sitting security reasons, meanwhile the same security did not prevent them to locate mosques with load speakers all over the place?
Such Islamic agenda is not good for the unity of this country. Imagine if Anambra state should demolish mosque sitting failure to obtain approval? The Governor of Jigawa state should be subjected to security watch. He has pure Islamization agenda which is a threat to Nigeria unity.

Churches collects money and they are all registered under our finance institutions on that basis so they must open their books and follow acts and laws like any other revenue generating entities in Nigeria.

I know Nigerians are too knee-deep in religion to know what's good for them because these churches and pastors are denying them the same taxes they need for good roads, hospitals, schools, bridges, electricity and so on.

Whatever the church owns it deserves, if you look at the big churches in Nigeria, they started very small with perhaps 4-10 church members in the 80s and 70s and have delicately and diligently managed themselves to become big, so where were you when they started humbly with nothing to show.

You can't wake up and start saying churches and pastors are this, they are that.they didn't suddenly arrive there.

I fully understand where this guy is coming from. Having lived most of my life abroad, I have seen and heard the craziest things. The most amazing was actually a father forging documents for his son to be sending money. The evil thing is the father of the guy had actually kicked out the guys mother years back to marry his secretary Yet still the son was obedient. He was even sending money for the dads upkeep and his extended family. When he found out about the forged docs ( imagine 419ing your own blood, nigerians we hail thee) the guy cut of ties with the dad, who I regard as an ingrate.

On the other side though, those abroad should stopping forming/showing off to family back home which encourages this behavior. Sending pics of cars you dont own stating its one of your fleet, as well as bragging about how well off you have it whereas you are doing 3 jobs to survive is not helping the matter. This gives ppl back home the impression you have it way too easy.

There is no justifiable reason to dupe or defraud someone who sent money home to build a house.

Religion is first and foremost personal and sometimes based on conviction, that other sectors of the Nigeria have refused to develop is not the fault of the religion of the people rather it's the institutionalised corruption and terrible leadership Nigeria has had over the years which has created a frustrating environment for those sectors to develop.

For instance that a Church built a school is not the reason why the government could not provide good roads and basic social amenities to improve the lot of the people.

And religion must be respected, it's part of the social and spiritual life of an individual, whether he is a Christian or Muslim, what's important is that they do their stuff peacefully respecting each other.
