Wow. Nice nice. I like this.

Hmmm, pray tell bro Olaadegbu, you by chance single? Just asking ni o. Lol.

God bless you. Doing a great job, not getting sucked into the name calling. Shows where your heart is. Once again, God bless you, plenty.
Politics / Re: Lagos Launches 24-hr Surveillance Camera Operation by Bhola(f): 7:50pm On Jan 14, 2009
Go do some work already, engineer accountant,

I am loving this. This is just what we need in Lagos. A 24hr camera to catch all those thieves, and all those randy young thugs in Lagos, that stare at omoges. Will they use this camera to seek out, "indecent" dressed young ladies too?

Mustaphar, I think we should put it on ebay for $1.

Afterall, the people outside can't fix the country. You have to be in the country to fix it. Maybe if we sold it and sold everyone in it, and then imported fresh blood, maybe, just maybe that will fix the country.
Politics / Re: Festus Keyamo Replies Omoyele Sowore by Bhola(f): 11:33pm On Jan 12, 2009
Someone said he was renouncing his Nigerian citizenship in another thread, and I have to agree with him. If these are the people that are supposed to change Nigeria, I guess there aint no hope for the country. Even hope that is yet to be born, is dead.

So, to all you short-minded people, one can only fix the country, if they are in the country? Pray tell, if that is the case, how come 150myn pple haven't fixed the country yet?

You want him to return, so that the next time we read about him, he will either be locked up or dead? Wow, I will not even bother to get angry, it is waste of energy.

I have said it and I will keep saying it, Nigeria will never get better. Maybe in 3020.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Death Penalty For Muslim Apostates? by Bhola(f): 7:00pm On Oct 30, 2008
Samba, I don't know if you are Nigerian or not. I don't know what your first language is. I know though, it is not English. It is hard to read what you type sometimes and I don't get the gist of your post.

Are you asking Nimshi to quote part of the book that gives the man the right to place a fatwa on the writer? Or what part do you ask him to quote? Your request is not clear. If you are really interested in the book, I suggest getting a copy.

Nimshi, I am personally enjoying your posts. I don't know what you are, Muslim o, Christian o, or anything. It doesn't concern me. A balanced discussion is what is needed. Thanks for giving us non-muslim, a different view into the Islamic world. For a while, thought the best we could get was Olabs and Babs and the rest.

Glad to know someone out there, agrees that killing people that don't agree with them, is not right.

Sisikill, stop o. I do not want to share my teacher's salary with you. So, thanks but no thanks (that reminds me of another bull dog with lipstick, make I no go there). She can't afford to have more than one teacher. As for her going to the refugee to take lessons, I seriously support that idea. While you are there, may I also suggest party? I bet your husband will never leave you. Though to anyone that have, half a brain, he is already gone. But no o, not to you Tara, fight with everything you have.

N-guage, seriously, you need to loosen up. The good book said, love your neighbor as yourself, not more than yourself. No matter how much love she thinks she has for the guy, the guy does not want her. I don't think anyone needs more writing on the wall to know that. And no sir, getting married doesn't turn you into a didirun, unless you were a didirin to start with.

Jeez, Nigerians surely don't have any sense of humor.
Family / Re: A Racial-marriage Problem! by Bhola(f): 1:21am On Oct 02, 2008
Sisikill, I think I agree with you. We should not send her to anyone that will help her self esteem.

Seriously, Tara do not go to anyone that wants to help you with your complex. Your Nigerian man is the right one for you. There aint no better man or human being out there for you. So, please fight it out. Use everything you have to make sure, he doesn't leave you. I mean, work 120 hours and Bleep his brains off. Learn Yoruba, heck, I will even teach you the language and show you how to tie iro.

Outstrip, seriously, loosen up. If you don't get sarcasm, it's ok.
Family / Re: A Racial-marriage Problem! by Bhola(f): 8:03pm On Oct 01, 2008
Sisikill, you no go kill me o. See, me laughing like a crazy person for here. Apparently a lot of folks don't get you. Woman abi na girl, you don make my day. Nothing do you o jare.

Tara, please read and digest what Sisikill typed. Therein lies the truth. The Nigerian men can't help you. Believe me, Sisikill has the answers. Do everything she suggested and you will get your husband back.

Ode buruku. Oko e so di didirin, you still get mouth abi na finger to type. Sisikill, me think she needs to see Dr. Phil, what do you think?

Opo, , why are you in a rush? There will be time for comments, questions and answers. Why are you jumping, like something is firing your bombom? Just chill. Your time will come to raise your concerns and we'll all be here to read as well. We all have questions too, but we are obedient and know there is time for everything. Time to read and time to ask questions. Stay blessed.

Paul, we waiting for the rest of the modules. Thanks so far.

Wow, this is interesting.

Instructor, I actually clicked on the link to check the credible example you gave and I am beginning to get this training. For anyone to believe that, because you buy a book on someone's behalf, you are now immuned to diseases and stuff, that is the height of brain washing and deceit.

I will keep reading and make sure others come to read too. Time people woke up from their slumber.

Politics / Re: Poison Fire - A Documentary On Shell's Wanton Destruction Of The Niger Delta by Bhola(f): 9:32pm On Sep 07, 2008
Kobo, please tell me how to hold the government accountable. How do we achieve this? Meanwhile, Shell is not the only international company that does business in Nigeria, so how come they apply some rules in other countries and not the same in Nigeria? What has corruption in Nigeria, has to do with their guiding principles? Or they have different guiding principles for each country?

Bawomolo, the keyword is "Self". That means, it makes ME feel good. I am not saying you should boycott, I am not even asking anyone else to do so. I am saying, ME, I will stop buying gas from Shell. Is that clear enough? Thanks, Bro.
Politics / Re: Poison Fire - A Documentary On Shell's Wanton Destruction Of The Niger Delta by Bhola(f): 9:06pm On Sep 07, 2008
Bawomolo, it might not stop gas flaring, but I will feel a lot better. Like Ima said, its self gratification.

Kobo, when has anything worked in Nigeria, government-wise? So because the government is corrupt, its an excuse for Shell to continue to flare gas?
Politics / Re: Poison Fire - A Documentary On Shell's Wanton Destruction Of The Niger Delta by Bhola(f): 6:16pm On Sep 07, 2008
Ima1, good point. I buy Shell gas too. No more. I know its a minute thing, but I will feel better.

Like I said, please pass this around. Let us come together and make sure everyone we know see this movie. I am even going to send it to all my oyinbo friends. Remember, you might not be from Niger Delta, but you are from Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Poison Fire - A Documentary On Shell's Wanton Destruction Of The Niger Delta by Bhola(f): 2:36am On Sep 07, 2008
I have never felt more angry and ashamed to be a Nigerian. So, according to 4play, because Shell is a Western company, that is why we are blaming them. Wow, clap for yourself. Now, I know our problem will never get solved. I am too angry to even type anymore.
Politics / Re: Poison Fire - A Documentary On Shell's Wanton Destruction Of The Niger Delta by Bhola(f): 8:14pm On Sep 06, 2008
Wow, I had goose pimples watching this movie. I don't even know what to say. No matter how corrupt the country is, that is no excuse for the way Shell is behaving.

Thanks for posting this.

Thank God for internet. We can all do something, even if it is as little as sending the link to all your friends on facebook, please do. People need to see this, especially the Hague conference. To say you do not have fund to stop flaring of gas, is the most ridiculous thing. Like we all don't know the price of gas now.

I have so much to say, but I will start by cursing all of them. I am so angry. This is so sad, tears sef wan comot.

Poster, you want a secret? Be with someone that wants the same thing, like you. Chikena! That's the secret. From your post, it sounds like you both want different things.

Will she change? Probably not. No amount of love will make her change. If after 16 months she is still like this, I tell you, waka. I believe there are a million and one girls in Nigeria, that wants to get married and wants the same things like you do. Go out there and find them.

All the best!

Where can I find a list of Colleges of education, polytechnics, universities in Nigeria?

If there isn't a list like that, I will be willing to pay someone to do the leg work for me.

Thanks.
Business / Re: Am I Obsessed With Saving Money? by Bhola(f): 11:37pm On Apr 16, 2008
You are not weird or crazy, babyosisi. There are a lot of us out there.

The only problem I have is, I save and then I give too much. Just that, I think, what is the point of having so much money in my account, when there is a fellow out there that needs it now. I have in excess of 20k with people, that I loaned and promised to pay back. I don't even bother myself. Once I loan, I write it off.

I am definitely grateful that I am in the position to help.

See, some people need expensive things to feel good about themselves. Once you are secured in your being, staying in an expensive hotel, does not trip you or make you feel superior.

If the average american was like you, we'll not have this housing wahala. People living way above their income.

Nothing wrong with not having a plasma. I watch TV an average of 4 hours per week. What's the point of buying a 2k tv, that I'll never watch?

I love Suze Orman too. I love her ending note, remember, in life, people first, then money, then things.

Nothing do you o jare. Carry go!

Wow, I am indeed proud of my brother. Good job! If you aint helping your country to enjoy freedom, you are helping your other country men, keep off bad vehicles. I am so proud of you.

Wo, I promise to take care of your wife when she comes. All she'll have to do is clean my house twice. Just kidding.

P.S: My broda knows himself.

Romance / Re: My Romantic Dilemma by Bhola(f): 3:20pm On Feb 15, 2008
No, Ibk, some standards don’t change. Take for example, I will never ever stay married to a M.uslim. That is a standard that can never change. Those are the kind of things I mean. I believe we get what we want in life and I do not ever compromise.

Now with all that said, this is my classic reply to those pressuring me. “I am happy, very happy being single, and until I find that man that will make me happier, then I am satisfied with being single”. See, after I tell them that, they never disturb me anymore. No parents or good friends want you to be unhappy. Maybe, I am wired wrong, who knows, but being single is not a problem to/for me. It’s not like I am young, I will be 27 in a month.

Just take your time in deciding whom to be with. Better to marry late right, than marry early wrong. You’ll wish a million times that you did not just pick any one and run with him.

All the best.
Romance / Re: My Romantic Dilemma by Bhola(f): 12:25am On Feb 15, 2008
I actually read all your entries and it makes sense. I think we all have a lot of options or men to choose from. At least, I can speak for myself and it seems we both have that in common. Now, how do you make the right choice? How do you choose A over B, and not regret your choice? Here is what I do, I have a list of ten things I look for in a man, that I will eventually get married to. I suggest you do that. It is a lot easier to compare apples to apples, than apples to oranges.

Be friends with all of them. Get to know them and evaluate them. I strongly believe, it is not a difficult thing to do. Maybe, I am weird, but that's another story. You, my dear, know exactly what you want in life. Be grateful you have options and more than one man to choose from. Some girls don't even have one to look their way.

You'll do just fine, chica. Nothing do you. Live and enjoy.

i want to request just ONE thing from you,

can u do it, ?

kindly ANSWER the questions posted to you and stop diverting, i enjoy the thread and its quite interesting but what i find disheartening is the way u muslim continue to evade, change and refuse to answer the many questions asked by the various persons,

ok will u swear by the koran to stay through a question until it is exhaustively completed?

thannnks, ok continue grin grin grin grin grin

I thought it was only me. Wanted to start a thread with all the questions sef and ask for simple answers. Please both sides, when a question is asked, could you please just answer the question and not give us essays to read. And if you do not have an answer or you do not know, just say so. Like my co worker will say, there is "a yes", "a no" and "a I don't know" response. Nothing wrong with any of them. There are a lot of us interested. Thanks and God continue to bless us all. Amin!!!!
