thanks sade, nike and chinani. i hope i am in the running! cos i love competitions. just kidding! just bored out of my mind. to sleep or not to sleep, that is the question. |
ok, let's see this. at least i have a B.S. i shld be able to figure this thing out. since the pic that i want can't be uploaded, u'll all have to manage these ones, ![]() *** my husband said i am too old to compete. he said to take my pic off. so, sorry, y'all can't see how ugly i am! |
hmmm, don't know what to do anymore. so i will have to give up. ![]() |
hopefully this work now. i think this place don't like me. i know, i am the hottest female, but i can't attach the pic, so u have to check my profile. enjoy! |
I must say, like others already said, this is the best thread! I was going to just browse thru it and keep it moving, but no, I just could not. I read all 11 pages and like others said, i laughed, i cried, i got pissed, i asked "why" and all that. Big up to those that shared their painful stories. Definitely something good is in store for u all. Like a friend said, "it is always going to be ok at the end, if it is not, then it is not the end". Happiness is a personal choice and I pray u all find happiness in ur life and the life of the kids that came from the loving relationship. But I really can't stop to wonder, how come the guys that were great and awesome and good, happened to be cut short? Why do bad things happen to good people? That is one question that kept on coming to mind. As for me, i am a sworn player 4 life. just kidding. I don't intend to get married, not that i am against the whole marriage institution. I think it is a wonderful institution, if the two parties can perform their roles and do it diligently. |
Why would any body think of going back to nigeria? I don't think there is any amount of money that is worth my life. I will rather work in walmart for 6dollars/hr, than get "oil money" in nigeria. see, it is not the money, it is the security of life and properties. what is the point of working and making the money and i can't spend it? i can feel like eatin pizza at 3pm and all i'll have to do, is drive to the nearest supercenter. see, the rich are the ones that own nigeria. if u are not going to be rolling in a whole lot of dough, ain't no point. from the time u step out of the plane, u'll start to wonder why u went back. unless something happens to that country, the only time i'll go back is to go do some politics and eat part of the nigeria cake! |
Wow! wow! wow! is all i can say after reading thru what u guys have here. first and foremost, ono and wesley, u guys do a good job. The most important thing is not to take this personal. this is a discussion. every body is entitled to their opinion of things. with that said, here is my take on this topic. ono is a nigerian, resides in nigeria, went to a boys only secondary school(boarding school i presume). wes, is in america, she probably has become an american or she has resided here for so long. anyways, my point is this, the two countries are very very very different. u can't compare nigeria and america. it's just not possible. the things that are common practise here in the states is not common practise in nigeria. i remember a time, that it was a disgrace to be pregnant as a teenager, now it is a norm in the states. 13 yr olds talk abt having a child. i mean, what does a kid know abt sex? at 13, all i wanted to do, was sleep, eat and play. but it is not the same here in the states. 13 yr olds already have boyfriends and having sex. do i agree with 16yr olds not learning abt romance? No, i do not. cos this is america and it is different from nigeria. the same rules can not apply to both places. in summary, ono, ur views are applicable to peeps in nigeria. wes, urs is applicable to peeps here. most importantly, let's all be true to themselves. what works for me, might not work for u. everybody needs to find who they are and then live and enjoy! |
