Kitaun, hmmm, I no understand your grammar o. Make kata kata no burst o. Why will kata kata burst sef? <<<scratches head>>>, what is really going on? Genial, are you on MSN or YIM? Make we carry out questions/answers section there. |
Jacq, typically, if you have other countries visas on your passport, it is a lot easier to get the US visa. |
Kitaun, methinks, you are very wrong. Genial, hmmm, how would I know you were waiting for my questions, when I did not get any reply back? Anyways, I am sure you ain't just going to sit and let someone take your princess away. You got to fight. I know, I know, in one mouth I am saying fight, in the other I am saying, I want to hmmm, hmmm fill in. :DGot my reasons. |
And why in hell, will he ask after me? |
Hmm, bhola playing dumb, who are you talking about, Kitaun? |
Best article, hmmmmm, I'll have to pick one in the religion forum. Mehn, those guys know how to quote and un-quote. The style of writing and explaining is just too much. Try reading something by, 4get_me, Gwaine, M4Malik, Ajia, Syrup. Best article, I'll go back and search. |
Obj, that was nice of you to say. Ok, go do your farm work. Make sure, say your chicken no get bird flu o. Cos, when me I land for Naija, I go come your farm come enjoy better chicken, not all these chemically raised one here. Have a good week ahead! |
So, I take it that, everyone here wants to get married. No sworn single guy/single? |
See, that is the humor I was talking aboout. You definitely funny girl. So, who made this error? Mehn, you need a lawyer to sue the scientist? Cos, we could easily organize one. The settlement will be so much, that you'll not be needing the seat any more. |
Obj, me I be your friend o. Ok, let's shake and make up. ![]() Wait, why you dey live for Otta farm? True, true, you be Obj pikin? Aburo, Nike, no worries. Me, fight? Never. But we cool now, right, Obj? |
Obj, frugly Obj, twin brother of King Kong, ma bu mi o. I went to school in Ibadan o. I go pull apoti and start the ebu tournament o. Ok, Obj, take am easy. Like I said, life is fun. Try and see the humor in things. Don't because, we are not allowing you to stay beyond two terms, now be angry with everyone. The one wey you don steal is enough . Kindly move on. |
Hmmmmmmmmm, what is Obj's problem? Always said it, Nigerians don't have any sense of humor. Oh well, Obj, in case no one ever told you this, life is fun, don't take it too serious. You just might miss out. At Genial, it's a pity that someone is trying to steal your princess. Hmmmm, my eyes are pushing me, but hmmmm, hmmmm, can I fill in? ![]() Mukina2, pls now, agree for the boy. He is really in love. |
Happy buffday! May you see many more years and may all ur heart desires be granted. Have a fun filled day, may you grow from strength to strength, from glory to glory! |

When everyone was out, me i dey hostel dey sleep o. Olubadan, do u use YIM? My id is beesee12, tell, madam, that she got nothing to worry abt. No sweet sixteen is taking you away. ![]() |
True talk, Old Glory and that is why I warn Nigerians about coming here. Life is quite easy when you got the paper to work. Hopefully, this bill they've been trying to pass since forever, will go true. At least, give some peeps the paper they need. Some people are stuck here. They can't go anywhere. It is just sad. Zeb, dumb? What do you want him to do? |
With that, my grandma, go just kick bucket. |
You betcha. We sure are proud of the white on white. Mehn, I definitely like the white thing. It was just unique. And while I was there, there was no specific style, as long as it was a gown. Mehn, did we sew different styles. Love the school. My bad. Methodist grammar school. Chei, don't think I know any one that went to there. No run away, just yet, Olubadan of Ibadan. Make we solve this age thing once and for all. And see who shld be kneeling or prostrating. ![]() |
Yeah, it is very possible to live the dream life here. Most people are just greedy. Most people want to impress the wrong people. Nigerians are known oppressors. Why we think we should impress or oppress the other man, is what I don't know. Most people work menial jobs, when they initially get here. If they are lucky to stay with the right people, they are shown the ropes - go to school, get a degree- and they can get a good job. On a personal note, I got here, worked full time, 40hrs in Wal-Mart, while I was working on my degree in Chemical Engineering. Now, I am done, I work with the number uno private company in America. Do I live the dream life, you betcha. But, I don't need to come here and start stating what and what I have or don't have. I have a girl that we started work the same time in the store, and she is still there. Not to be boastful, I probably make more than five times what she makes now, but she refuses to go to school. See, to live the dream is not that hard. Just be hardworking and pray you meet the right people when you get here initally. Some peeps have been here since forever, but they're still doing menial jobs. One, they might not have the right papers or they are just lazy. My advice to the average Nigerian trying to come here, if you don't have a way of getting your authorization to work and all, please, kindly stay in Nigeria. Nothing worse than working a dead end job and your kids are your boss. |
Wesley College of Science, Elekuro. Mehn, that area is really Ibadanized! Labo was something else. See girls, wearing iro and buba, with making sneakers. That was so funny. When did you graduate from Loyola? |
Wow, I dey dig ur cap o. Wetin dem dey call am again? Abeti aja or something like that. No mind me, I no sabi type Yoruba that good. No mind peeps we no like Ibadan. Tho, really, I am from Ogbomosho, but I sure know a lot of peeps from Ibadan. Got mad love for the place. |
Babaibadan, how old are you? I might even be older than you. Yes, I remember all those rusted panuu. Bere and Labo and them Elekuro areas. Mehn, missed all those places. Sending junior guys to go get amala and gbegiri. It was fun. |
Wow, got some baptist in the house. Attended Wesley, my grand-aunt went to Oritamefa Baptist, so I had to go. Remember all those night vigils, that I did not want to go, but had to. Oh well, Ibadan was fun for me. Eleyele, Jericho area. Still remember all 'em places. |
Sorry dedun, that I have not replied in a while. I was in E class or was it F? Now I have forgotten. If u use YIM, my id is beesee12, I am sure, we were either in the same class or we were grouped together in that big room. Anyway, I'll definitely want to hear/chat with u. |
Saw something about that online. Looking for the link. I did not pay attention to it. Just skimmed and scanned. N.B: Found it. http://allafrica.com/stories/200608030668.html http://allafrica.com/stories/200608030447.html |
I like to read good discussions and I hate it when it turns into name calling. On saying that, I have to point something out. Afam, please kindly don't say that 9/11 was meant to destroy WTC. Please, that is a big insult to the average American. If they were so interesting in destroying the buildings, I am sure, they'll have come on a Saturday or better yet on a public holiday. It saddens my heart to limit 3000 human beings to just "collateral damage". Also, not everyone in America, sweeps or washes plate. Maybe those that came here, out of greediness. Just my two cents. Thanks to all u contributors. Definitely learning a thing or two. |
Wow, here is my blend by KC. I'll leave it here, for a while. She sure did a great job. Thanks girl! I really do appreciate it! N.B: She'll be doing the post, as I don't know how to post it. ![]() |
Aww, KC thanks. That was really nice and he likes it. Thanks a lot. Am I going to get the white backgrd soon? Thanks in advance! |
I am indeed IMing you. . |
