So, ToyM, what u saying is that, you have to sacrifice for love, even if the guy is about to send u to early grave? I think, people marry for the wrong reasons, and then they have to stay with the guy. True love means, u dont have to sacrifice. U give willing. Keyword, is willing!

Love and pain do not go together. I totally disagree. If you are in a relationship and you are sad and u feel pain, get the h**l out. Pain is a sign that something is not right. That being said, does not mean unhappy times will not come, it will surely come, because we are human, but if u truly love the person, u'll forgive. but that does not mean, u have to keep forgiving. If it is a continuous offence, then you have to draw the line.

Love, love, love. Sometimes, I think the word should be taken away from the dictionary. Ok, here is my breakdown according to ages:
0-12 - Love means parent feeding you and buying u things.
13-16 - Love means running around with boys
18-22 - Love means doing everything for that person
22-28 - Love means knowing that u can not do everything for that person and that they shld love u for who u are and you shld love them for who they are.

With all that said, I go back to the very wise book in the Bible, it said, "Even death can not kill love". True love, means, accepting urself and the other person. True love means, seeing the best in the person. True love means, appreciating the other man. And most importantly, true love means, recognizing the weakness in the other person and helping them work thru it(them).

I probably could go on and on, cos i happen to be the r/ship adviser for all my friends. That is becos, I am old(lol) and I don't bother deceiving my self. I am pass the age of stupidity or what I call stupid love.

Since there is a thread on why u want to get married, I guess there shld be one, on why u don't want to get married.

ok, little break down, I know for a fact that it is not written any where that one MUST get married, so why is it that when you tell people u don't intend to get married, they start running their mouth.

The same way the person that wants to get married have reasons why they want to, the person that don't want to get married have reasons as well.

Myself for one, don't want to get married, if I have my way. I strongly believe people should get married once they are ready to fulfil their various roles in a marriage.

Anyway, if you really don't want to get married, let's hear your reasons.

i stand 5ft 11 inches, so u see, I am from the above average height for female's group. I think the average height for female is 5ft 6inches.
anyway, if i am taller than my guy, then i can't respect him. simply put. it is not craze, it is just a personal preference.
so far, dated, 6ft 5in, 6ft 4in, 6ft 2in.

I for one can't marry a poor man. It is important that i marry/co-habitate with a rich man. I can not respect someone I make more than. and i do make a good amount. the first question i ask the guys that come up to me, is how much do u make? if he is not in the high six digit range, he shld keep it moving. that's just me!
