The ranting of yet another arm of the tyrannic ruling class. He should eat his pious explanation, his blood shall water the tree of freedom when the time comes! And as for revelations, there was very little revealed from this discuss!

Now that is bad, if you have verifiable fact to that heinous crime it would be best to make it known. It is illogical for those media houses to exploit people in need! They have by their actions exposed their irrelevance! Please if you can get info on them i would be delighted
PoliticsRe: Useless Journalism In Nigeria (Name and Shame) by bibiking1(m): 5:24pm On Oct 28, 2009
Aisha, i won't exactly join you to espouse the virtues of NTA, but i believe they are closer to proper journalism than a lot of those ' freelancers' around. However, the threat to a greater nigeria is worse from them (NTA) than the other charlatans. They are the mouth piece of the reactionaries and they seek at every point in time to dispense information that is one sided and aimed at 'mis-educating' the populace. Anyway, most journalists in the polity are lazy, a sizeable proportion are compromised, another portion is less educated than the people they hope to enlighten, Only a few uphold the true tennets of the profession. One that readily comes to my mind is Reuben Abati.

@ Afam i am sorry for the personal angle i brought to it, and also for casting aspersion on your integrity. It was not intended. However, when i say the ruling government is clamping down on dissentin voices you do not disagree with me, or do you? What happened to Mr. Ohu? Was he also an erring journalist? It would appear the only crime they are committin these days is denouncint the tyranny of the ruling class
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Threatens To Shut Down AIT by bibiking1(m): 10:39am On Oct 28, 2009
, Of the current regime. When you see a sycophant journalist you know. You still forget that criticism ought to be the food of progressives. The essentiality of criticism in all its form is to allow the rulin class re-evaluate its policies. This is visible in the early post-revolution era of france and the post-revolution america. Until the hijackin of the revolution in Russia by stalin, the soviets served as an outlet for the critical analysis of the rulin class. Clamping down dissentin voices would only help perpetuate the calumny the rulin class represents
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Threatens To Shut Down AIT by bibiking1(m): 10:27am On Oct 28, 2009
@ Afam i have tried to disassociate myself from your tirade, but now i must dispense a rejoinder in spite of my better nature. I must confess, you have come across with logical and plausible points in this discuss, you have made valuable contributions that has helped shape my understandin of certain key issues with regards to one's ability to express displeasure at a sitting government. However, i am still not in agreeable terms with your overall stance. At the risk of personalizin the discuss, i must say you sound like a man with a rather tainted conscience, one who has briefly been corrupted with the ideologies of the current rulin class. You fail to the wood for the trees my friend, the silencing of dissentin voices is the first step towards the establishment of a pseudo tyrannic regime. In this case, it would not be that sets one individual at the head of the clan, but a party. Gbenga had his excesses which i have denounced on two occasions publicly, but you have to admit that he exposes the ineptitude
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Threatens To Shut Down AIT by bibiking1(m): 5:02pm On Oct 27, 2009
I understand fully that a crime as sedition does exist, but its borders are not clearly defined and as such forms the basis for the evil wrought by the repressive government of the day. Some of us are in a mad rush to protect 'our' beloved frail president, let us remember that the future has a rearview mirror and your comments today SHALL be revisited when the revolution unfolds.
PoliticsRe: Corps Member Arrested For Drug Trafficking! by bibiking1(m): 3:07pm On Oct 26, 2009
The drug smugglin industry is similar to a mafia cartel, there are families, cops on the payroll, soldiers, capos etc. These illegal outfits thrive best in countries whose governments are power-drunk and people friendless. The bosses are themselves part of the repulsive governments and have stakes in the economy. Of course, since they really are not in the government to salve the people's pains the economy becomes an awful mess. Michael was an unfortunate soldier tryin to make his bones, he is a victim of a hideous cycle, one that makes you run to the oppressor for succor. Unfortunately, like every other mafia, there are rivals and one other rival gang set him up. To hell with the farm story, he was simply survivin in a country that gives you limited opportunities at decent livelihood. It is pathetic, but until the revolution is wrought another michael would be caught again and again
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Threatens To Shut Down AIT by bibiking1(m): 1:51pm On Oct 26, 2009
The nigerian state is obviously one that has never made hidden its dictatorial characteristics. From the days of Buhari up till now the kingdom of free expression has suffered violence and the violent have consistently paid with their blood, loved ones and their livelihood. This government is a continuum of that early repressive military mindset. However, nothin can stop the coming revolution, the blood of the tyrants shall water the tree of freedom.

The PDP has the right to select its candidate, so i do not think all these hubris generated by all these failed aspirants would yield an otherwise effect. I detest the PDP, but i scorn hypocrites more. All these ranting failed aspirants are trying to come across as saints and oppressed masses which i condemn!
You dine with the devil, you should be prepared to share the bill!

In no time this Ibo man would give create and establish a clan in the heart of Niger Republic spreading the enterprising tribe's tentacle farther into the arab land, and if we are lucky, in twelve years Becomrich would bring satellite images to prove that the Ibo race started from Niger Republic.
Okay, jokes apart! Why is this?

The PDP isa machine that needs to be stopped, unnecessary confidence and boasts would only ensure we are fully asleep when they hatch their evil plan Let us be vigilant for the devil is on the loose! grin

PoliticsRe: Public Notice: Attempt To Frame Me By Unknow People. by bibiking1(m): 9:48am On Oct 23, 2009
becomrich,:
it is not treasonable. Go find out the meaning of the word.
Is patriotism loyalty to a nation or is patriotism loyalty to a govt or is patriotism loyalty to a people.

Of the three. It is to the people. patriotism is not been loyal to the govt of nigeria, patriotism is not been loyal to yar adua or obasanjo or anybody. You see patriotism is not been loyal to a nation or country or govt or party but patriotism is been loyal to a people.
You see you can be loyal to a country and what that country is doing may be wrong. Countries are know to have done wrong against people, so are govt and president.

If been loyal to the people is treasonable, then you do not know what treasonable means. a president can be loyal to Nigeria, but not loyal to the people.

You see for me, I put the well been of the people over the nation . and over the govt or anybody or party. This is what they call patriotism . it is people that make a nation and not a nation that make the people.

It is the people that make a nation, and not a nation that make the people. And if 15,000,000 people have to die to keep nigeria one, that is not patriotism. You do not have to keep nigeria as one by force, if it is a danger to the people that lives in it.

And at the moment it is a danger to the people of nigeria, The north would never agree to be minority,

so you must ask yourself where does your patriotism lays,
is it to a nation
or the people that lives inside Nigeria.

I have decided to be patriotic to the people. And I know I am doing the right thing even if God ask me. This is a religious duty for me.

And like daniel , shadrack and abednego, i would rather obey God than man. I am more patriotic to the people than the nation or govt or party. You do not have to kill people to keep a nation together. Dead people do not have a nation.
OKAY THEN, PLEASE SHOW ME SOE PATRIOTISM AND LEAVE NAIRALAND, ,,,,,,along with your maps that is!
