Snipers took the man out, no! Some nerve gas was used on his,,, no! Someone left some cyanide in his drip! There has to be some form of planned assassination to it all. A man that was jogging for twenty five minutes a day! A man that took his grand children on a one kilometer walk! A man that has a lengthy discussion with religious leaders to deliberate on the spate of religious killings in the country! A man that tactfully eluded the ever-seeing maps of becomerich! Common guys, this man must have been murdered with the use of some fancy technology |
what does it matter? Afterall the aliens are coming in July and we will all be killed! |

The fruit does not fall far from the tree! |
hehehe,,,,,funny stuff, saw them on facebook |
Gilbertman:That might just totally send them into oblivion my friend. I believe the politics being played by these media houses is become a bit too complex! While some are getting shot to death, others are being driven out of business! How then can we get UNBIASED news and reporting? |
Aloy+Emeka:lol,,,,now this was some funny riposte! |
firstly he WON'T have a job again, so there's no second guessing or probability required as to his availability for the position. Secondly, i do not question the Institute for 'associating' itself with the man as earlier stated by MUZA, it is their duty to hire who they deem fit enough to represent them. However, on a PERSONAL level, i find it repugnant that a man that took us on a ride on his personal carousel for almost seven months be given recognition at an established and somewhat reputable institute as Havard? I find it totally out of place and annoying! But thats my personal rant! |
I bet they erected castles for class rooms for that amount! |
This news piece is deceitful! Up till now no OFFICIAL Vice President for the country! |
With an entrenched feeling of frustration I have watched the appalling manner Nigeria has chosen to stand against the forces that threaten to enslave her forever. We have chosen to confront the fiery dragon with a birch twig and attempt a tightrope in pure inebriation; foolhardy. Undoubtedly this past few years have been the most psychologically trying period in our checkered history; we would have to travel through several decades back in time to experience a period like this when we had an opportunity to wrestle from Simon Legree our destiny. A government is a creation of a people, necessitated by the need to instill order and sprout calculated development in the society where they dwell. The popular cliché about many cooks making a mess of the broth is a simple way of explaining the necessity for creating a handpicked crew for the service-laden task of governance. The individuals charged with the task of governing the community are picked from amongst the denizens of the society and are meant to discharge their functions as mandated by the people. However, when the individuals charged with governance of the society deviate and derail from their set tasks and mandates as dictated and agreed upon by the majority, they are to be removed and sanctioned. But power and its intoxicating effect have made this removal a bit more tedious than it ought to be in modern day politics. In addition, the reticence and indolence of the people have forced their chosen ‘leaders’ as it were, to perpetuate themselves against the will of the people. This is the foundation of the development of feudal family rule, monarchies, dictatorship, totalitarians and other variants of suppressive governance. The key element once again in governance is the people, and they are the ones that ultimately should decide the fate of every government, either through electioneering or through popular uprisings as demanded by the situation, or as Malcolm X puts it “either the Ballot or the Bullet”. When a government makes it impossible for the people’s will to be exerted through the ballot boxes it makes an uprising inevitable. However, this ‘state of inevitability’ is time-bound and its actualization is a factor of the knowledgeability of the people to their rights as citizens and their level of patriotism to the country. These two conditions are reasons why the proletariats in a country like the United States of America are more likely to fight against a repressive government faster than a country like Burundi. But surely, every society that is governed by a repressive regime gets to a point where the oppressed majority charges forth from its position of disadvantage to upstage the oppressive minority. While my description sounds so simple in its outlay, the basal theorem and philosophies is representative of most popular uprisings the world has experienced. A popular saying asserts that an idea whose time has come cannot be stopped, but is it not also true that if the idea is not properly organized its resultant interpretation by the masses can be distorted? And a distortion of any proportion to the principles of any mass action can have drastic alteration on the output. Take for instance the hijacked fight for emancipation of the Niger Delta region by thieving mercenaries. The struggles original ideology, as espoused by individuals as Ken Saro Wiwa and Isaac Boro, has become lost and contorted. Ignominious fellows like Government Ekemuepolo, Asari Dokubo, Scipio Africanus, Ateke Tom etc. have suddenly made the whole fight a struggle for the “loot of the land”. I am afraid the fight for the salvation of the overall Nigerian state is about to fall apart, with the haphazard and ill-intended manner mass actions designed to put pressure on the oppressive regime is being carried out. Like a herd of gamboling antelopes heading for the Lion’s den to demand equal right in the Jungle, the several ensemble of supposed ‘democracy-fighters’ and their hired crowds have consistently made mockery of the underlying seriousness a mass action ought to address at this point in Nigeria’s existence. With their lovely smiles, colorful tee-shirts, pixilated trots and gaily chants that only reminds one of a carnival in Rio de Janeiro they can only make the situation worse. Is it not funny that they all go to “demand freedom” with their gadgets; while some are clicking away on their cameras others are uploading the pictures to their social website pages. That is as far as their desire for true democracy goes, this is the most they desire from a protracted struggle for mass freedom; this is the best they wish they can get from a confrontation with the oppressive minority that continually tramples on their fundamental human right. Posting images of themselves smiling behind a floridly worded placard on their various ‘facebook’ pages, gives them an utmost feeling of self-achievement. This insipid approach would only enrage the slave-master! |
and the ghost of yarAdua would continually hunt him and his band of decietful clerics! They should keep mum on the issue and stay out of politics! |
texazzpete:Easy bruv |
I fear thee Becomerich!!! |
is it James Onanefe Ibori or James Ibori that is on the run? |
Well, just as in the case of James Ibori and James Onanefe Ibori, we would soon have a Ibrahim Babangida and an Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida saga! |
The first miracle is that Jakumo actually initiated a thread!, You could have seen the grin on my face! Obviously after your numerous battles with the dinful generating sets and the complexly inefficient inverters sucor appears to have come your way!, I am really happy for you brother! However, the joy with which you have immersed yourself in currently can hardly be re-echoed in several other parts of the country. YES the light situation has IMPROVED but not to the point of shouting in foreign tongues. I still have to iron when i see the light to ensure i have clothes to wear when i need them, when i can iron just before i go out then i would know that there has been a change. Once again, thanks for starting a new post man! A breathe of fresh air! |
gabng:Probably thats why your thread was closed down, you might have had a history of factual distortion in your trail and as such have built up for yourself a reputation that seems to obliterate seriousness in its wake. Personally i know the individual who uses the alias 'nex' and he is a close friend of mine, Kosovo i do not know, how you came to your conclusion that they are one and the same individuals draws some form concern from my noble soul. Kindly apologise and retract that statement as one of them could personally find it offensive. On another note, i believe your point, however vague it might have been has been noted and this thread ought to be CLOSED. Cheers mate |
msaalli:I believe the contract should be all inclusive if there is altruism in its conception. Breaking it would only ensure that the project ends up being abandoned somewhere! |
This dude has changed medication! |
I hope they know what they are doing? Hope they are not just embarking on a jolly merry-go-round sojourn!! |
Well the good part is that he is slowly opening up on the hidden state of disaffection between himself and the deranged Turai. now i sense some sort of assertion from his part! |
These unfortunate 15 are about to become stars of the new sitcom that would blow all charts around the country. "The Rimi Killers" would surely burst box-office charts if marketed properly! |
if my reading was intact then it is lovely that no one DIED! |
And the story resumes!!! |
uhmmm, what has he done to deserve more time?? |
hmmm, na wa o Atiku07 eyeing Yar adua's wife on facebook? Are you guys not supposed to be good friends? |
Is it not just classic how we always ditch the chance to make a positive change with our tribalistic mindset? What has Iwu done that entitles him to yet another spell as electoral umpire? The re.tard actually shortchanged us and those clowns are 'begging' him back? |
Well with Dangote's ever flourishing transport business, do you think he would be glad to see the rail system on track?? I kinna doubt that though. Almost a third of his revenue comes from his trucks and the general transportation arm, so why should he give that all away for some blistering 'Rail Line"? Once again, like the power sector there is a cabal (i hate to use that word) stopping this whole developmental progression from taking place! |
erico2k2:uhm,,,,firstly, you are alone on that quest! More importantly, if you are able to get a site belonging to the Nigerian police force that can accept your queries you would be well on your way to becoming the greatest discoverer of modern day Nigeria Bless you friend! |
and there you guys are complaining! Heard a dude was arrested for possesion of a Nokia 3310,,,,the crime read "possesion of a dangerous weapon without a licence".,,,,,hehehehe Uncle Jakumo, I think your thorough process could actually assist all laptop users in avoiding being unusually embarassed by these well meaning law enforcement officers! |
Some ignoramuses have concluded that only when Americans are attacked can we call it terrorism. Bloody second class citizens of their own country. |

I am really happy for you brother!
