98% of the people of Seirra Leone speak Krio, which really is  yoruba for kiri yo which means "are you satisfied" and krio is the country National language
What planet are you from?
Next you would bring up funny carthographs to prove your point?
PoliticsRe: Public Notice: Attempt To Frame Me By Unknow People. by bibiking1(m): 6:30pm On Oct 22, 2009
becomrich,:
Please note there have been an attempt to frame me by unknow people. And there have been death threat in the past.

The USA and UK should please take note.

I remain unshakable and our vision is clear. I would not stop posting satellite pictures. I believe in 1man1vote and not 1man4vote.

Say no to 1man4vote.
Okay, why don't you go and report to the police. You know death threats should not be taken kindly to! As for the satellite pictures (Mapstering) that you always bore us with, the UK and USA had nothing to do with that, so why shout for them now?
When you say "Our" who are you referring to? Is the Mapomeji clan or you really have a gang of boys gearing up tp map the world mad?

PoliticsRe: Do We Derserve The Leaders We Get? by bibiking1(m): 10:36pm On Oct 21, 2009
SapeleGuy:
@ topic - CATEGORICAL NO

It has become fashionable for some people to be hypercritical and blame the masses for the actions of the kleptocrats in power. This blame would be justified if we were allowed to vote or the elections were not rigged.

The absence of military uniform doesn't mean democracy. Next time people want to castigate the masses, they should remember these four words - Free and Fair Elections.
Wow! you make it appear that these "Leaders" are a special breed of aliens that just happen to always be administrators (or Leaders). As one of the earlier posts tried to explain before the Thread-Owner shut him out, there is a clear and significant interphase between leadership at several aspects which is quite obvious at the Political sphere. When a bad father decides to go into politics what would you expect? Or when a corrupt Principal suddenly wins a councilorship seat what would you expect?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Versus Facebook by bibiking1(m): 10:22am On Oct 21, 2009
Jakumo:
Interesting comparison.  Nairaland and other subject-specific internet forums offer a degree of anonymity, which, though not air-tight by any means, does serve as an ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL layer of user protection, when the topic of discussion often turns to the endemic high-level criminality found in  third-world countries that could turn repressive on a dime, a la China.

As for Facebook and Twitter, maybe I will someday learn to appreciate the benefits accruable subsequent to having ones personal details and photographs available for persual by literally millions of indentity thieves and sundry fraudsters on the internet, but in all likelihood by the time I see the light,  I'll be too old and ugly to put my mug up for inspection anyway.
so you see why i'll chose NL, you hardly get these sort of comments there with the fluidity and essentiality with which Brother Jakumo (who robbed me of my Hrandfather clock) dispenses 'em.
You would also not see the Mapomeji crew on Facebook, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Unless they changed their minds!

i live in the UK, and i really really support this statement above. there is nothing in the UK. the UK is good only for those nigerians who are not making it at home. i.e those who have no jobs etc.

if you have a good job in nigeria, it will be a fatal mistake to come to UK seeking greener pastures. you go hear whiii. grin this country is only good for education. Not yet though, they would eventually but it has to pass through a humane way.

Now you see, God don't like ugly! so for the authorities to slowly work into the mind of the people they had to first get an ugly picture of the dude. Taking a picture of him when he just arrived the country would have generated too much sympathy and the people would have forgotten that there was a fire. Now we get angry after seeing the picture, and many people would be like,,,,,,,,,,,,Damn that ugly toad come over here to burn our country? send him back to monkeyland!,,,,,,,,,,,lol

I feel sorry for the dude however!

With the vested powers reposed upon me by the Sacred Order of the Grandfather Clock Aficionados, I hereby confer honorary, conditional knighthoods upon Bbking1 and Lady Lucille.

Arise, Sir BBKing, and remember to go on-line to track the progress of that important package containing all your credit cards, that was earlier submitted to us via Federal Express, in order to assure that these honorary knighthoods are confirmed, and not later revoked by the Grand Exalted Cyclops of Grandfather Clocks, Nigeria Chapter.
Her name is Lady Lucia and not Lucille, please effect that change on the certificates please!

Well, if the federal ovt thinks simply paying a few people monthly salaries would end the insurgence in the Niger Delta then it must be more inept that i thought!
MEND is real, and aside the exposed commanders, they are capable enough to cause this nation harm, harm so real that you would feel it creep inside your arteries!

Baro:
In Benin? huh huh Please get your facts right. I schooled in Uniben for 7years, and all through that duration, the whole of Ugbowo was my hood; day and night, such things don't happen. What you have in Ugbowo is normal everyday Police wahala like you have it everywhere in Nigeria, nothing retrogressive and theatrical like you are trying to paint. That is not Ugbowo.
Hey Baro, cut the guy some slack, everything he has said is true, i.e the activities of the touts and the relay tea formed by the policemen. It is easy for strangers to refer to every town as you enter Benin city as Ugbowo. I also shooled in Benin for 6 years and i believe where he starts seeing these generic products of the society is from Isihor and then some other funnily named hamlet-styled communities.
The point i believe is that aside the name all he has said is true!

I weep for all the morons in Nigeria.
I hope the scholarships were not given from the lawmakers' pocket. It better be that he fought for the allocation from the govt because the last time i checked, that's his freaking job.
2011 is around the corner. They have started buying votes. Lawmakers are supposed to represent us in the house. They ought to enact laws that would ensure that kids get this scholarships. They are not supposed to be sponsoring kids themselves. Where do you think he will recoup his investment? Hmm gee, let me see, GOVT FUNDS? So what is Fani Kayode is a thief and treasury looter ? People tend to forget that those sterling qualities are REQUIREMENTS for all seeking public office in Nigeria, so Mr. Kayode is well qualified for yet another round of fund diversion and liquid asset re-allocation into private bank accounts, as proudly indicated by the paid publicist whose pronouncement kicked off this thread.

Praise the Lord !

mikeansy:
Folks don't get it

A politician is only as powerful as he is connected to the powers that be or as popular as he is amongst the people.

The Ubah brothers where troublesome while OBJ was in power. OBJ is no longer in power and Yar'adua is not necessarily keen on them, they are not popular amongst the people either.

So where exactly does the fear of Ubah brothers come from?

Ribadu locked up IBB's son, IBB did not do jack because he was not central to the scheme of things at the time. OBJ's daughter was arrested just within two years of OBJ leaving power, so where does the whole noise about the Ubah brothers come from?

Andy and Chris Ubah are touts who should have no say in a state that has produced great men like Odimegwu Ojukwu, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Nwafor Orizu, Onoh, Chuba Okadigbo and the Mbanefos of this world.

The whole noise about the Ubah brothers is a myth and it will come to and end if someone as connected as soludo is Governor. They will be locked up if they mess up. Its that simple.
Touts?? Those illiterate bloodletters! How can you just let them off with such nice words. Pour on the vituperations man!

And really, i don't see Soludo as a solution to the Anambra conundrun!!!

Ore is also a nightmare to Yorubas travelling to their various towns and villages passing through Ore. So it is not an eastern or Niger Delta problem alone
You have a point! running the risk of sounding tribalistic, i would want to point out that proportion of Yoruba's that ply that road as compared to the Easterners and Niger Delta inhabitants is quite minute
