This is the first time I am hearing of this. When I renewed mine, the old passport number was not printed on the new one. Is the old passport ECOWAS passport? Did you use it to apply for a visa? Why did you pay 100k for the passport? my old passport no was printed on mine. It is written "previous passport no " |

creamyworkz: Just go to moneygram's website, click on the "estimate fees" tab, nd fill d details, it will give u the rate. get someone to help u go to bank in nigeria and send the amount u need. person needs to go with a govt issued ID, just like western union bt it gives more flexibility in terms of the max limit, i tink the max limit is around 513pounds per quarter, bt d good tin is, if d first person dat helps u send has reached his limit for the quarter, u can send someone else so long as they have govt issued ID. the only hurdle is that most naija banks r avoiding it, bt if d person has a good rapport wt the bank officials or is their good customer they'll do it. the last one i did was on monday at the rate of 370naira to a pound. adding transfer fees nd tax brings it to around 390naira to a pound tanks |

@chenn. Thank God for landing safely. I will also be flying with emirates. For the baggage allowance, all the bags together must not exceed 30kg or each must not exceed 30kg? Is the hand luggage and LP excluded from the 30kg allowance? |

PweedyB: Journey was great....the cold is mild for now. the city is ugly, trying to keep bills low. i dint get to bribe the useless customs as expected my food luggage was more than the required kg so i had to drop some the free WiFi made me keep in touch flew Lufthansa the food they served economy was wack.....immediately i got here my roommate asked why i decided to come to the UK that students dont come here anymore. that spoilt mood. best of luck, you don't need to ponder on that rather focus on what you went there for. Am sure u will start enjoying the environment soon. Is your roommate a nigerian? |

Start sharing your ideas and strategy with her and don't have the "I initiated it" behaviour but if she continues to throw back your idea at you, it's time to leave there and move to another place where your ideas will be higly appreciated. |
