Career › Re: About Sap? by BigBashiru: 4:21pm On Apr 17, 2009
Please guys, I need in very clear terms how to get SAP IDES for practice; this information is still very unclear - I have seen ebay adverts advertising complete systems. Can I buy SAP IDES from SAP? or can they give me free? if so how?

I have registered as an SAP partner in Nigeria - so maybe they send it to nigeria?

looking forward to ur speedy response.

Also I saw an advert in the Guardian last tuesday for basic SAP training including certification exam for NGN95,000. Supposed to be an all round basic introduction to SAP for new comers.
Politics › Re: Do You Cherish Nigeria ? by BigBashiru: 1:18pm On Apr 17, 2009
Nigeria is a failed state with NO FUTURE based on current trends; and things will NOT better, lets be realistic.

* Nigerians acting like vagabonds - I see an average of 3 fights per day mostly over rubbish (pls dont take this personally).
* Leaders acting accursed - from 1960 - date, all are after their own pockets; government development contracts are seen as opportunity to swindle instead of helping the masses. Dont tell me it will get better 1960-date no progress.
* PHCN and roads have caused many to their early graves.
* People are not happy and are subjected to very adverse conditions.

So my dear, I DONT CHERISH NIGERIA. ITS A FAILED STATE.

Travel › Australian Temporary Working Visa - Worth It? by BigBashiru(op): 5:02pm On Apr 13, 2009
I am eligible to apply for an 18-months visa to australia with full working rights; this eligibility ends in may ending. The issue is that I am not really interested in venturing abroad again and I am looking for a job in nigeria though this is not forth coming. I am not really interested in settling in australia and it is also very far from nigeria which is a minus. Worst part is that I have to write IELTS before applying - i think its too stressful. So i am seeking advise on if I should go ahead with the visa application in case of any eventualities job wise. ur advise most welcome. thanks.
Politics › Re: Naval Officers Beat Up A Lady And Stripped Her - Watch Video by BigBashiru: 3:02pm On Nov 07, 2008
@cheavroi

the naval side of the story is full of corrupt lies.

Officers should not get involved in such acts with civilians.

They could ARREST her for standing in the way of the minister - this is far better than flogging somebody with horsewips.

After the arrest, it will then be debated in the court if any part of the constitution says we should give way to govt officials.

Where they not taught to arrest someone PEACEFULLY? maybe those guys had psychological issues. I'm sure they felt "cool" while beating up the lady.

savage act by savage imbeciles.

Nigeria still has a long way to go.

I have heard the naval account of the story. The fact that the so called officer first hit her car is civilian aggression and is liable to prosecution. Why should you hit a ladies car savagely?

Moreover, did I hear horsewhips? In which day and age do people in uniform still use such animalistic crude equipment.

We really need help in nigeria.

This is talkless of other similar brutalities that take place daily.

Something is really wrong somewhere.

Hi kiwi992,

You are the man!!!

I need to ask you the following questions:

I am currently working in SAP testing and interested in learning SAP. But the thing is its is waaaay too broad. I am currently working with the book: SAP R/3 Black Book by Dream Tech Software Team which is a good book.

I have an Electronic Engineering degree and some experience as an SAP test analyst. I want to specialize in SAP HR. Is this a good area? I have been playing with SAP for about 6 months now doing business as usual stuff with periodic config stuff. How do you suggest i approach mastering HR with my background.

Hi All!

I am quite new to this forum and I must say its very fantastic!

I just have a few questions about UBA (as I will be going with them for now):

* If I open current, savings and broking accounts, I want to initially fund the current account by way of relative paying naira into the account. Personally I think, UBARemit, no matter how convenient is a rip-off if you are transferring very large sums of foreign. Will they allow opening the account if I will fully fund it this method (relative paying in naira)- or remit part account funding by this method. UBARemit rates are poor.

* When using NRN services, can I speed-post non-UBA cheque to the relationship officer from UK to forward to the brokers. I wont be suprised if they say you cant, in that case will it be possible to send the non-UBA cheque directly to UBA stock brokers? Why must they force people to use their current accounts and is there anyway around this.

* Stock broking profits can be paid into non-UBA account while using NRN services I am supposing?
