Even here, some people believe that he did wrong by speaking out about the evil perpetrated by this governor. We still have a VERY long way to go in this country. undecided.

Everyone is crying out for peace, (yes)
None is crying out for justice
Everyone is crying out for peace,
None is crying out for justice

I don't want no peace
I need equal rights and justice
I need equal rights and justice
I need equal rights and justice
Got to get it,
Equal rights and justice

Everybody want to go to heaven
But nobody want to die,
Father of the Jesus
Everybody want to go up to heaven
But none of them, none of them want to die

I don't want no peace
I man need equal rights and justice
I got to get it, equal rights and justice
I really need it, equal rights and justice

Just give me my share,
Equal rights and justice
What is due to Caesar
You better give it all to Caesar, yeah, yeah, yeah
And what belong to I and I
You better, you better give it up to I

'Cause I don't want no peace
I need equal rights and justice
I need equal rights and justice
I have got to get it, equal rights and justice
I'm a fighting for it, equal rights and justice

Everyone is heading for the top
But tell me how far is it from the bottom
Nobody knows but everyone fighting for the top
How far is it from the bottom

I don't want no peace
I need equal rights and justice
I need equal rights and justice
I have got to get it, equal rights and justice
I really need it, equal rights and justice

Everyone is talking about crime
Tell me who are the criminals
I said everyone is talking about crime, crime
Tell me who, who are the criminals
I really don't see them

I don't want no peace
I need equal rights and justice
We got to get equal rights and justice
And there will be no crime, equal rights and justice
There will be no criminals, equal rights and justice

Everyone is fighting for equal rights and justice
Palestinians are fighting for equal rights and justice
Down in Angola, equal rights and justice
Down in Botswana, equal rights and justice
Down in Zimbabwe, equal rights and justice
Down in Rhodesia, equal rights and justice

Politics › Re: Implication Of Amnesty For Boko Haram Members. by Biggyd2: 7:30am On Apr 05, 2013
If he is serious about this, he should also be ready to grant amnesty to all those people in prison serving 10, 20years in prison(many of them, for crimes that they know nothing about).

He should also ask the BH(ghosts) if they are ready to join the democracy that they are against. Are they going to be comfortable with other Nigerians who have refused to convert to Islam? And since they are against education, will the rest of the populace who are interested in education be allowed to continue with same?

And if this amnesty is granted, wouldn't this government be telling other miscreants that if they want to be heard, they should carry arms and start killing people indiscriminately (it will only take time but this government will grant their wishes?

I hope that terrorists are not holding this government by the jugular. Waiting for them to come out and deny this.

Politics › Re: History Of Lawrence Anini,a Notorious Armed Robbers In Early Eightiesm by Biggyd2: 12:50am On Apr 03, 2013
When I saw his picture after he was caught, I was so disappointed. Looked like he was vanishing into the background in his wheelchair. A very pitiable figure indeed! He lived and died like a street dog. I think that like IBB then, he liked volks santana.

But he is better than the thieves in government today. Anini didn't hide the fact that he was an armed robber. But our pen robbers in government pretend to be protectIng the populace and at the same time stealing us blind. Nigerians got justice when Anini was killed but what happens to these current technical thieves when and if they are caught? Anini in his whole career as a professional robber did not steal 0.10% of what many of these rogues steal in one month!

They have updated that promise to mid 2014 https://www.nairaland.com/1233126/jonathan-assures-stable-power-supply grin. Trust the deceiving party, a few months before the proposed election in 2015, they will give Nigerians "stable power" just to get people to vote for them. From what I have seen go on in this country, I won't be surprised if many fall for this gimmick. Nigerians forget easily! undecided

What is the problem here? Is this not supposed to be symbolic? I think it means that those in authority should actually be servants to those who put them there. But what do we see in the world today?undecided Our dear country is a very good example. lipsrsealed undecided

And what of those serving in the other restive states? I don't see the use of putting the lives of people who their parents wasted so much to train in school in danger just because they are serving a country that doesn't care about them.
