jamace: See Vitafoam o. And somebody claimed he saw EXPO yesterday, telling us that the company was in great loss. He even showed figures but presently he has tactically edited the information. I hope some persons are not on this thread to misinform us for their selfish interest. @yok, I believe you are matured! Editing your post after the event is akin to deception (IMHO) Exercise that maturity by coming here to explain yourself! I repeat - there are newbies here. We have to be well guided when giving our opinion here. Otherwise the uneducated (ill-informed) might take it as the gospel. As for bigjay01 and his household, they continue to enjoy Vitafoam dividends. Have been since the time of Lord Lugard |

seyisanya: ...and more volatile. I was reading some of Sir Emmanuel's past stocks analysis this past week and how he held some stocks for many years as a long term investor. But looking at the NSE of today, is it still possible to hold any stock for a lifetime or as long as 10-20 years? I have had some active ones for 12yrs+ and counting. Conoil for 16+ yrs. Rak Unity I thought was dead, I've had for close to 29yrs. It works for me! Family chop money etc does not depend on it. I can weather the storm by hibernating in bad times My old boy and my mentor is 83. He still has has stock bought in early 1970s. Go figure! |

Jejebabaa: Has anyone who made purchase today via Morgan capital has it shares showing in his/her morgan account. The fbnh I bought today is yet to show in my total units as my cash shows intact. I believe there is still a manual element to EOD account reconciliation. Happened to me a few times. Sometimes within 2 hrs after close. On one occasion it was reconciled b4 SOB next day. |

robobo: My Oga dont tell me you are abandoning the ship ooooooo
Joke apart the best in this market, for now, is to go for dividend (doing well to look at the yield vis a vis money market)
The macro is not supportive of any sustained rally for now (so it i.e. rally is going to come in fit and bits)
My fear is that the Macro itself is deteriorating (copy recent Moody downgrade) though there are few green upshoots in the macro but these upshoots are still below thier potential
my prayer (and wish) is that as we go into the new year these macros should improve further or at worst not deteriorate further
Only then could we be talking of sustained rally That is the koko. Unfortunately it tends to be overlooked in all the analysis paralysis! Until we have a stable macro/ positive outlook ... we can dream all we like! |

seyisanya: Hello all, those who live in the diaspora. How do you get the naira to your Nigerian bank account for trading purpose? I used to send USD to someone who later changes at abokifx rate and then sends the money to my naira account. However, he is beginning to delay the process lately and by the time he transfers the naira to me, my desired stock is already trading higher than the amount it was sighted.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thanks. I use either Azimo, Transferwise or WorldRemit from UK. Monet in my account in about 5minutes or less. Then transfer to Morgan. Gone are the days of getting anyonelse involved |

Toluway: Those of you trading on morgan capital group platform, please, i hereby ask for your assistance. I have just registered and logged into my account through my android phone. The contents are almost invisible. I couldn't find the mobile application on Google play, and i think it might not exist.
How do you go about it? Do you have the mobile application? What should i do? Thank you. I use S9+ with no problems. The 1st window on log in is always tiny. However, if you manage to open market view (2nd window), with 2 fingers, slide horizontally outwards in opposite directions (zoom out) or pinch in (zoom out).

There were a few others Dunlop, Johnholt etc. Dug those certificates up during my last visit to Enugu. |

lancee: Thought as much ..option was the Cc if u have a good offer from ur bank One quickly make use of the offer /payback b4 APR goes high the 0% offered would remain fixed throughout the term. The only thing is that it must be paid in full on or before the expiration of the term, otherwise it would be treated as borrowing money on a CC! Barclays would happily charge you 19% under such circumstances. The thing about credit in this part of the world (and indeed most parts of the world) is CREDIT RATING. With a good rating, you almost always get extremely juicy offers. |
