THE BIGGEST BANK IN WEST AFRICA(by asset) It still has a long way to its fair value. 06/09/19 ... Mpeace: Nice one from Access. 25k interim dividend, not bad too. PAT (2019) 63billion, (2018) 34 billion EPS (2019) 1.93, (2018) 1.38

TraDeRR: CCNN @ 5 naira! Some people get mind to hold stocks sha It was actually 5.01 on 15/11/2011 our holding period for any good stock is forever, unless in situations like this ... I have this feeling Alhaji Rabiu wants more choke hold on CCNN+Kalambaina+Obu. It doesn't appear he is minority investor friendly like Aliko |

Uchetoba: Dear I disagree with you on the bolded because the Obu and CCNN deal is more like the Access and Diamond deal. One share of Obu Cement is valued at N35.11 and the over 13 Billion share that will alloted to CCNN shareholders will rank pari passu.
Again the building Material industry in every country is encouraged/favoured by the government unlike the breweries industry that is over taxed. this valuation (if true) is independent of the merger. The question is - what will be the dilutive effect of CCNN be on he resultant Obu cement? CCNN EPS was relatively ok pre merger with Kalambaina. What is the story now? Now this! Don't wanna feel sorry later. Afterall I got in @ #5ish #EndSentimentalAttachments |

DeRuggedProf: Sooner than later.... sold @18.5, bought @ 5.3 years ago. I didn't like the effect of the Kalambaina merger, now Obu. I am not yet convinced that the dilution will be worth it! I'd rather increase my stake in Wapco. |

nofundforme: Please, how can a company OS be reduced? Am just wondering because there is a law in Nigeria that restricts a company from buying back its share. Please, I need a clarification on this. other than share buy back which a couple of companies have done (Custodyins a few yrs ago, and Dangcem in the pipeline) . Companies can also reconstruct their shares. |

wanaj0: I also like UCAP (even though I hate company's associated with Tony) BUT I always try to remove extraordinary items when making my analysis. It is always good to understand the numbers.
I am surprised that people are disturbed by Oracle's post. Managing your emotions is basic to successful investing. Problem is that many are investing without a strategy/plan. They were told money can be made on the NSE, the saw the bulls and they felt prices will always go up, everyone became an expert.
For me, this is the time to step back and develop a real investment plan/strategy that first into your age, income, future plans and risk profile/appetite. . Filter out the noise and fire on!
If people IGNORE the daily price fluctuations, there are bargains on the NSE for the patient investors. Just came across this post from our respectable oga Wanaj0. Wanaj0 talk to us naaa |

locodemy: My own case was transferring from active broker to active broker. It only took six days and my acct was transferred. 1.complete the transfer form and kyc with the new broker. 2.The new broker contacts the broker managing your investment. 3.The broker contacts you to know why you want to transfer your stocks. After they will tell you to complete kyc with them and finally you pay them 5k transfer fees. 4.The broker will now asked your new broker to initiate the transfer online so they will approve it. 5.Once done, your stocks reflects in your acct with new broker. All these took me only six days.
Now your case is from dormant to active broker. The process is a little bit different.Go and complete your KYC and transfer forms from your new broker. They will follow the due process but bear in mind you must visit cscs for biometric capture and some fees. I completed a transfer 3 weeks ago in 4 days. United capital transfer is going to 3 weeks. Those guys are frustrating the b***s off me. I wish I was in town.
