This is my very first Figma project, I am really new to Figma Design i started learning no long ago, and i will really love it if you guys can tell me what I did right and did wrong with the design. basically i will love you guys review on my design.

Inspiration behind my design
This is an express UI design in Figma, I overheard people talking about Marketing for a Single Property in Abuja (Real Estate), what was coming to my mind was a landing page for the single property, so i decided to come up with a design using Figma. I literally challenge my self on this project meaning i designed without taking grid lines, alignment and consistency in colors into consideration. i designed the whole thing within one hour.

It is not easy to stay positive at times like these, especially when we see those around us rushing to masaajid for taraweeh prayers, spending time in ‘itikaaf and reciting the Qur’an. This can lead us to feeling deprived of the reward of this blessed month, and often this feeling ends up decreasing our spirituality rather than increasing it.

Women menstrual cycles (or postnatal bleeding) are a part of Allah subhaana wa ta’alaa‘s creation and something that is ordained by Him. Allah subhaana wa ta’alaa tells us in the Qur’an that “He has created us in the best of molds” [At-Teen:4]. We are also told that Allah has “appointed a due proportion” [At-Talaq:2-3] for everything and that “for every matter there is an appointed time given” [Ar-Rad:38]. [1] Thus, to complain about it would be to question the Wisdom of Allah subhaana wa ta’alaa. This is not anything to feel sad or inconvenienced about, but rather it should be accepted as part of the Divine Wisdom.

Inheritance (Ogwu Oiga) is a cultural practice that cuts across the whole world. It is a critical mode of property transfer in many Sub-Saharan African countries, where inheritance distributions are culturally done through direct and intimate interactions among family members. The personal nature of such inheritance distributive practices is vulnerable to abuse. The existing research literature from various Sub-Saharan African societies highlights how as a result of existing social conventions widows and orphans are particularly vulnerable to losing their rights of access to properties they enjoyed during the lifetime of their husbands or fathers.

How They Share The Inheritance

In Ebiraland , distribution of a property of a deceased person, who died without a valid Will, is by the number of Wives that the deceased had and not by the number of children. Where there is a serious dispute, the family head is permitted, in some parts of Ebira land, to have a final discretion by recommending the distribution of the property, per capital; i.e. by the number of children and not by the number of wives.

Right of Succession Among Ebira People.

To be able to claim any property in Ebiraland you must be a male child (Ozi Onoru), in most families where Ezi Enyene (Female Children) are considered! Are through humanity from the male siblings, they divide their inherited properties and share with their sisters. In most cases the Female Children can only inherit part of the livestock the deceased person owned. The female children can get part of the property by right if and only if there was a written or said will, but it can easily be amended if people in charge are greedy set of people.

The Widows (Ogwu Oiku).

If any of the wives of the deceased is still young and can still have children, they are given to the deceased siblings for marriage it is called Ogwu Oiku in Ebira Language. This often happens when the wife has no child for the deceased.

The Problem Facing Inheritance in Ebira Society.

Within the past few decades, research has shown systematic investigation into the dynamics of inheritance practices and inheritance in Ebira Society. However studies particular to Ebira People traditional inheritance practice is missing. The result is that much of the scanty pieces of information we have today on this subject matter are mere raw and unprocessed information. A wide gap still exists on the aspect of a systematic and sponsored sociological and cosmological to this critical area of development. For the same reason of lack of analytical approach, studies of inheritance practices in rural communities of Ebira land are also conspicuously absent. This article therefore intends to establish the gaps observed above and considerably proffers measures of filling same with a specific interest paid to prevailing situations in Adavi Local Government (Inoziomi).

Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has ordered the immediate closure of all entry points into the state.

The order includes land travels and waterways.

A statement issued by Commissioner for Information and Communication in Lokoja on Wednesday said entry and transit by any vehicle will be subjected to a successful health check of all passengers.

Fanwo added that to prevent avoidable delays, which may extend to preventive quarantining, persons with any disease condition similar to COVID-19 symptoms, including elevated temperatures, should have a medical report from a reputable hospital and medical practitioner explaining their condition before venturing through the state.

The state government also issued guidelines of operation for all commercial motorists and cyclists.

“Tricycle (keke) operators may carry only one (1) passenger at a time and must provide hand sanitizers for use by their passengers. Regular 4-wheeled taxis may carry only three (3) passengers at a time (1 in front and 2 behind) and must provide hand sanitizers for use by their passengers. Buses may carry only two (2) passengers per row of seats, subject to a maximum of 10 passengers per trip for any type of bus.

“All transport companies, transport unions and terminal operators must keep a travel manifest for inbound and outbound passengers, especially verified phone numbers. They must also provide hand-wash stands with soap in the garages and hand sanitizers in the buses. Passengers are required to cooperate by washing their hands with soap and water and sanitize them before boarding. They are to be denied boarding if they fail to comply with the hygiene procedures.

“Relevant officials are empowered to stop and enforce compliance. Defaulters will be arrested.

“All public areas, pubs, bars and restaurants are limited to 5 customers at a time, seated apart in line with the social distancing guidelines. Operators and customers are advised to utilise delivery and takeaway options more during this period,” the statement read.

Also, the state government reinforced suspension of all social, cultural and religious activities. Essential activities must not have a crowd beyond 5 persons.

Ahead of the forthcoming Kogi Governorship election, women in the state have thrown their weight behind the aspiration of Barr Natasha Akpoti, the Social Democratic Party, candidate of Social Democratic Party.

The women under the aegis of Kogi East Women for change and development gave the endorsement when they paid a courtesy call on the State Chairman of the SDP, Alh Mouktar Atimah, pledged their support for the SDP candidate.

Speaking on behalf of the women, Mariam Lambo, described the SDP candidate as a symbol of empowerment for women and youths, said the group has began mobilization of women across the state in support of Barr. Natasha.

The group hinged their support for the female governorship candidate on the premise of her agitation for the completion of the Ajaokuta Steel Complex, which she noted has the capacity to improve the well-being of families and engage the state’s teeming youths.

The spokesperson urged women irrespective of political parties to rally support for the SDP candidate, said women should use the coming election to change the narrative that women are their greatest enemy by Voting another woman.

She described Barr. Natasha as having the capacity to turn around the state’s fortune to that of prosperity, assured of a new dawn if she is elected in November.

In his remarks, the State Chairman of SDP, Alhaji Mouktar Atimah commended the women for seeing the light in SDP candidate, assuring that for a woman whose struggle has been about the people, if elected she would make the living standard of citizens her priority.

The Chairman described SDP as the new bride of Kogi people, pointing out that the bigger political parties have failed in providing governance in the past, has left the people with no option but to embrace the SDP.

He assured that the women would be carried along when the party forms government, described SDP as a people oriented party with welfarism as their core mandate.
