Phones / 5 New Smartphones Coming To You By 2016 -the Most Exciting Upcoming Phones by binoosmart(m): 6:39pm On Dec 20, 2015 |
Looking to upgrade, then read our primer on the new smartphones for 2016. Can't wait for a new handset? Here are the best smartphones you can buy today. 1. Samsung Galaxy S7 - March/April Samsung's handset plan for 2016 is as predictable as Apple's. The Samsung Galaxy S7 will follow the current Galaxy S6 as night follows day. The timing of the announcement might be edged forward a little in the year but I can't see the phone being available much before March even then and I wouldn't be surprised if it came out in April as usual. 2. iPhone 7 - September Apple will undoubtedly continue its usual tick-tock strategy of handset releases. 2014 gave us a the iPhone 6, 2015 brought the updated iPhone 6S and so 2016 will provide a whole new hardware design in the form of the iPhone 7. I'd be amazed if the new phone wasn't called that (although I suppose iPhone Air is a possibility) and it will certainly be launched in late September, as in previous years. Not much is known about the new design yet, but some rumours are circulating. There's much talk of the phone getting rid of the headphone jack, using Lightning port and wireless headsets instead. This could in turn allow the phone to become slimmer still, though battery life could be a concern. 3. HTC One M10 - April HTC will also be releasing a new Android flagship in the spring. Unlike the Galaxy S7 though, the new HTC handset is due a big design overhaul from the look-a-like One M8 and One M9 models. In fact given the update I'm not even sure the name M10 will be used. We were most impressed by the recent HTC One A9 and hope that some of that design is moved across to the new phone. One things that looks certain for the new phone is the inclusion of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, which should improve performance and battery life across the board. Other than that though it's hard to know what to expect, the A9 used an AMOLED screen so I'm hoping for one here too, while a different approach to the camera is in order too, after the last two failed to impress. Phones / How You Can Back Up Your Android Phone Or Tablet by binoosmart(m): 6:28pm On Dec 20, 2015 |
Breaking or losing your phone or tablet sucks. But what sucks even more is losing all the precious data on your device. Be smart and make a back up copy of all your important information and files. With a backup, you can easily restore your data to a new device and be back up and running in no time. Backing up the data on your Android phone or tablet is actually really easy to do. While there are many apps that you can download and install that will help back up your data, these are the easiest ones. 1. You Can Back It Up With Google The simplest and easiest way to back up your Android device is through Google using the built- in Android Backup Service feature. To turn it on, go to Settings > Backup & reset and make sure "Back up my data" is turned on. These are instructions for Google Nexus devices, but you can usually find the setting more or less in the same location within the Settings app depending on your specific device. With Android Backup Service, the following settings will be saved into Google Drive for restoration later: Google Calendar, Wi-Fi networks and passwords, home screen wallpapers, Gmail, apps installed through Google Play, display settings, language and input settings, date & time, and third- party app settings and data. 2. You Can Back It Up Samsung backup Samsung devices all come with their own backup service. To back up your phone or tablet through Samsung, you'll need to sign up for a Samsung account. Once you've got a Samsung account, go to Settings > General > Backup and reset >Back up my data (under Samsung account) and then log in. Inside, you'll see options to back up select data for Accessibility settings, Clock, Contacts, Email (Priority senders and Spam addresses), Messages and Phone. You can also turn on Auto backup, which starts an hour after your device is charging, connected to Wi-Fi and the screen is off. Phones / World's First Modular Phone Goes On Sale by binoosmart(m): 9:49am On Dec 19, 2015 |
A smartphone designed to be easy to repair and upgrade goes on sale this week. The internal components of the Fairphone 2 are split into modules which can be replaced with minimal tools or expertise. The company behind the phone hopes this will encourage owners to keep their phones for longer, rather than regularly changing to new devices. Fairphone say they aim to create a more ethical device with an emphasis on reparability and sourcing key minerals used in the phone's construction from conflict-free areas. Webmasters / How To Copy And Re Wright Blog Post Idea. by binoosmart(m): 10:40pm On Dec 18, 2015 |
Sometimes I wonder why some people still complain on BloggersLab facebook group and on NairaLand forum that they don't know how to get a topic to write on. well I can't blame them, even Jide Ogunsanya of Ogbongeblog.com, Soji Adegbulu of MMO.NG, Yakubu Binuyaminu of www.rollinggist.com e.t.c will not disagree with me on the fact that sometimes you don't have any inspiration on any topic, even at this it may even be hard for you to write about your self lols. Many times all this so called top bloggers in Nigeria, India, anywhere also are out of topic and they do not get any idea for their next articles. What do you they will do in such situation? As for me, Do you know what I will do? I will probably copy blog post idea. So how can you copy blog post topic? The answer is simple read other blogs related to your blog niche and see what they are writing and get post ideas from those blog. Its also a very bad idea I also think so. Why will I copy blog post ideas? Many times I don’t understand what to write as I have already written lots of article on a particular topic. To get post idea I search blogs related to my blog niche and I try to find a post idea which I have not written yet but I can write lot of things for that topic. This is how I copy blog post idea. Copying post topic can’t be a good idea for lot of bloggers most especially entertainment ones, but is the easiest way to get blog post idea. Copying blog post topic is not about writing same things as other bloggers have written but getting an idea what else we can write on same topic. Have you watched this particular and popular India movie of titled Gajini? I think everyone have, but if you have not watched it, I will reveal to you now that it was this movie that Ghollywood copied to produce a movie called The Game, you thought so right?. The movie title is deferent but the topic is same, all those movies are copying each other? No, topic is same but there is a new story in every movie. Same applies for copying article topic. You are just getting idea for article topic but that article can contain different aspect, it can share your own knowledge about that same topic. For example you are searching for topic idea and you are visiting blog in your niche. You found an article on “How to boost Google Adsense Earnings”. You also have some good knowledge on Adsense and you are generating lot of revenue from adsense but your strategies are different from those which you had read on other blog. Now you have article topic and you can write a unique article which can give good value to your visitors. You have just taken topic idea but the article is not a copy of different article. It is what you want just topic idea and when you write on that topic everything is new so it can’t be a copy of different blog. Another example you read an article on different blog which is about “Google Algorithms” and that blog post do not agree with action taken by Google and feel that algorithms are useless. Google is taking right steps to improve search quality. Now you can get a good idea for your nest blog post and you will write on “how Google Algorithms can Improve search results” which will talk about positive things not negative. It can be vice versa. Getting post idea from other blogs is not copying if you are writing it with different aspect and different style or for different purpose. Copying post idea can be a good way for writing quality post for your blog. These are the site where you can find interesting topics to write about mostly if you are blogging on niches like Blogging, Tutorials, Tech, Make Money, S E O, etc the list below; I'm not given links I'm only giving you there names; 1. MMOng 2. OgbongeBlog 3. www.rollinggist.com 4. Helplogger 5. JustNaira 6. EarningGuys 7. OnlineIncomeTeacher 8. Forbes 9. WikiHow 10. Nairaland (forum) 11. Phones / 10 Ways Your Smartphone Has Already Replaced Your Laptop. by binoosmart(m): 10:22pm On Dec 18, 2015 |
Your laptop is pretty much just dead weight these days. For the past few years, people have been discussing whether the PC is really dead. While many argue that there will always be a place for a bigger screen, a more powerfulprocesser, and a physical keyboard… there’s no denying that people spend a ton of time on their smartphones. You might think that your laptop is your pride and joy—and that your smartphone could never, ever replace It—but is that really true? Let’s take a look at 10 of the ways your smartphone has already replaced your laptop as your go-to Internet/email/ work/everything device. 1. It has a giant screen As laptop screens get smaller (hello, Ultrabook-craze), smartphone screens are getting bigger. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a 5.7-inch screen, which is practically laptop-sized (okay, it’s still one fourth the size of the Macbook Air’s 11.6-inch screen), in my opinion. 2. It has 128GB of storage Don’t worry, I’m not going to pull one of those “the first PC had 2 bytes of memory” tropes on you—but your smartphone does have a lot of storage space, even compared to modern laptops. Plenty of entry-level Ultrabooks have 128GB SSDs. Why bother with a laptop when you can store everything on your phone? (And if not on your phone, in the cloud?) 3. Windows 10 is a ‘universal’ operating system, Windows 10 is a ‘universal’ operating system, which means it’s designed to look the same across all devices, including smartphones and tablets. You might think this doesn’t affect you, as an Android user, but it does… if you happen to use Windows on your PC. After all, Microsoft isn’t just replicating the Windows desktop experience on its smartphones—it’s replicating the smartphone experience on its desktops. If your PC’s operating system is just a glorified smartphone OS, why bother switching back and forth? 4. It can connect to a Bluetooth keyboard The lack-of-a-physical-keyboard argument is probably the best argument as to why smartphones can’t really replace laptops. But there are plenty of Bluetooth keyboards that work with smartphones—including a lot of full-sized keyboards—so that’s actually a terrible argument. 5. It’s got a touchscreen! The cool new thing for laptops to have these days is touchscreens. Well, guess what? Your smartphone already has a touchscreen. All the cool games are mobile And the cool games that aren’t mobile are huge time-sucks, anyway. Do you really need to spend 300 hours playing Fallout 4? Your phone is doing you a favor by keeping you on track with just a few(hundred) rounds of Wordament. 7. It’s always connected You know the drill—pull out your laptop, immediately start searching for free Wi-Fi. Your smartphone, on the other hand, is always connected to the Internet. Sure, there’s a data limit (unless you’re one of the lucky/ stubborn ones), but better to have a data limit than no Internet at all. 8. It’s expensive Now that nobody offers subsidized phones with 2-year-contracts anymore, you have to pay the full price for your fancy smartphone. Yeah—the full =N=70,000+ price. That’s as much as a laptop! Who can afford two =N=70k portable devices that both connect to the Internet, check email, and play crappy mobile games? 9. It fits in your bag/pocket The first time I bought an 11-inch Macbook Air, I bought it for one main reason: It fit perfectly into my purse. But your smartphone fits into (almost) every purse! Would you rather lug around a smartphone and laptop, or just a smartphone? You can’t ditch the smartphone, but you can ditch the laptop… 10. It’s with you all the time You know what they say—the best X is the X you have with you. You may not think that your smartphone has replaced your laptop, but when you need to fire off a quick email or check Google to prove you’re right in an argument, do you pull out your laptop? I don’t think so. Health / I Drank Nothing But Water For A Week & Here's What Happened by binoosmart(m): 8:40am On Dec 18, 2015 |
You can’t live without water. It’s just a fact of life. If you’re anything like me, however, you also can’t live without coffee. Coffee is like a secret element of the world, a warm hug on a bad day, a pick-me-up when you’re beaten down. Between work, classes, extracurriculars and friends, coffee is an absolute necessity. However, I don’t exactly drink coffee the “healthy” way. I tend to use all of Starbucks’ Sugar in the Raw packets shamelessly. My family has even been known to say, “Hey, do you need some coffee with your sugar?” Despite how not cool it is to judge someone’s coffee drinking habits, they kind of have a point. I do drink too much coffee, with probably way too much sugar. Meanwhile, I skip water for most of my day — which I know is not good for me. So I decided to shake things up and swap out my usual cups of coffee (and every other kind of not-great-for-you beverage) and just drink water. In doing my research on how amazing water is for you (trying to convince myself it's as good as coffee), I found a People Magazine article, where celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak suggested drinking water to boost your metabolism, keep you fuller for longer, and make you more energized and active. The trainer wrote, “Symptoms of even mild dehydration include fatigue, headaches, reduced concentration and reduced cognitive function.” Pasternak has trained people like Read full article ::::: www.ebiraland..co.ke/2015/12/i-drank-nothing-but-water-for-week.html 1 Like 1 Share |
Health / Oversleeping Can Get You Killed. by binoosmart(m): 7:00pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
Bad news, bed queens and kings! Sleeping can KILL You! The new study from the University of Sydney has a surprising finding for those of us who hate to get out of our beds: regular oversleeping can have adverse health effects. In addition to the regular taboos of drinking too much, smoking, eating poorly, and too much sitting, researchers have found that sleeping more than nine hours a day can have some pretty scary side effects. Over a six year period, regular oversleeping meant a 44 percent increased risk of death. Surprisingly, sleeping less than seven hours a day meant a nine percent increased mortality risk. So, sleeping less is better than sleeping more. At least according to this study today. Who knows about tomorrow! @Binoosmart Source::: www.ebiraland..co.ke/2015/12/oversleeping-can-get-you-killed.html |

Yeah, you could get fake-looking implants, but you know your all-natural girls are damn sexy. And now science proves it. I'll spell it out for you below... These days, more women are embracing their small bust size instead of hiding their breasts under pounds of bra padding. "Not as many women are asking for a padded bra," says Ellen Shing, owner of Lula Lu, an online lingerie boutique catering to petite cup sizes. "They tell us they want to look like themselves." And now, science is backing up what these ladies have known all along: Small boobs rock. Read, smile, and never let the idea of getting fake ones enter your head. 1. You Feel More Pleasure A University of Vienna study found that bigger breasts are sometimes less sensitive than smaller ones. "Larger breasts have more fatty tissue than glandular tissue, which is the most sensitive part," says sexologist Rachael Ross, MD, PhD. "With smaller breasts, the glands are easier to stimulate during pre-intimacy because they're not underneath a fatty layer." (Note: Well-endowed women can feel the love too— they just need a stronger touch.) And since smaller boobs weigh less, they can handle more movement. Have your guy cup your girls and gently bounce them for even mor stimulation. 2. They Keep You Healthy Having a smaller set does your body good in other ways too. "In self-exams, it's easier to detect a lump in the back of smaller breasts, since there are fewer layers to feel through," says oncologist Marisa Weiss, president and founder of breastcancer.org. And while sporting petite twins could save your life, it can also save your neck. Larger boobs are heavier, and that puts pressure on the body. "It alters a woman's posture so her neck's strained and she's more likely to have headaches," says Dr. Weiss. 3. You Look Younger, Longer Men are hardwired to notice big breasts (shocker), but it's not for the reason you think. Back in caveman days, men needed a way to tell a woman's age. "They had to look at physical signs," says Satoshi Kanazawa, PhD, an evolutionary psychologist at the London School of Economics. The giveaway: her mammary glands. "Larger breasts sag over time, so it was an indicator that a woman was older," says Kanazawa. "It's more difficult to assess a woman's age if she has smaller breasts." Since your perennially perky girls are less affected by gravity, they'll stay sexy for way longer. Romance / 8 Awesome Ways To Keep Your Long- Term Relationship Strong #love by binoosmart(m): 5:24pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
Sometimes, relationships can be so stressful that you may want to pull your hair out. But you have worked way too hard for that hair to be pulling it out! Not all relationships are meant to last, but when you find the one, you will never want to come down from cloud nine. Tips Below 1. Express your appreciation It is always great to be appreciative in your relationship. We are sure you've heard the phrase, "It's the little things that count." Whether you give a simple thank you for a small gesture or purchase your SO's favourite thing just to see a smile on their face, the more the merrier. 2. Have the best time doing almost anything. Fancy dinners and expensive outings might be nice for some, but do you tend to appreciate and have more fun when you just stumble across plans? Whether you decide to stay in for the night and watch a movie or be spontaneous on an adventure in your town, you just enjoy being around each other. 3. Equally support each other Even in a relationship, you may feel down sometimes. Your partner should be there to uplift you and remind you that your dreams are valid. You should support one another so that you can stand alone and be strong enough when you aren't there to support each other. "It's important for a relationship to have an equal give and take, not where one person is always needy of support and the other one is always giving it. We could not have said it better! your relationship should reap the benefits, for sure. "One of the most important lessons I've learned is to show up for the people who show up for you," 4. Accept criticism When someone criticises you, you may be quick to cut them off because you don't agree. When your relationship is solid and love is in the air, listening is always worth it. "You have to be able to admit that you are not perfect and that sometimes your partner is really right about things. "If you can accept criticism, you can move on to a better relationship. Romance / Did You Have A Girl Best Friend? 11 Reasons Why Every Guy Needs One. by binoosmart(m): 3:06pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
1. Men are lacking when it comes to squad goals. While women are killing it with their super- strong squads, guys aren't having the same luck. In fact I found that 90 percent of women say they have a Best Friend, whereas only 60 percent of men say they do. Seems guys have got something to learn from ladies. 2. They give great relationship advice. What better way is there for guys to figure out women than to step inside the mind of one? 3. They're tapped into there emotions. They'll be your shoulder to cry on when things get tough. They also have no objections to sharing a big tub of ice cream with you—if that's what you want. 4. You'll always have a go-to plus one. Did you need a girl friend to invite to any party and you have no GF? Don't worry they will always be their for you. Or do you Need a date for formal or a plus one for your cousin's wedding? They're so there! You never have to worry about going solo again, even though you may be forced to endure a slew of questions regarding your relationship status. 5. And they're down to be your wingwoman at all times. They always know when never you're crushing on that girl from your from your department class, and she just so happens to be there friend's room mate's little. They've got this on lock. They will always make it sure you get the girl. 6. They make better friends than guys. The facts don't lie, folks. Check it out in your hostel, you'll found that all the guys who have a best friend, 53 percent have a BFF who is female. Believe it or not. The era of the bromance appears to be pretty much over. 7. They like you and take You for who you are. Honestly, They wouldn't waste there time hanging out with you if they didn't like you for exactly who you are. You may get on there nerves sometimes, but that's part of your charm. 8. They'll write your texts for you. But that'll only happen if you do the same. Am I finally cracking the code of guy-girl texting relationships? I think so! 9. They're your friend for life. Face it; once they're your BFF, you're stuck with them. Through thick and thin, they'll be by your side for life. This may change if you stated dating them. 10. All the best friend duos are guy/girl. Will and Grace. Taylor and Ed. Joey and Phoebe. Hermione and Harry. Leslie and Ron. The list goes on and on. Who wouldn't want to be like these famous friends? 11. You may end up marrying your best friend. Give me a clue on something better than marrying your best friend!! Jack and Rose of a very popular and romantic movie (Titanic) became a very close friend before they realised they were meant for each other. The next time one of your guy friends is less than appreciative of your companionship, give him the scoop. There's nothing better for a guy than to call a girl his BFF. @Binoosmart Source::: www.ebiraland..co.ke/2015/12/did-you-have-girl-best-friend-11.html |
Events / Man 'tries To Open Plane Door Mid-flight' by binoosmart(m): 11:47pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
Cabin crew and passengers overpowered a man who allegedly threatened to open one of the plane's doors during the flight. The man was restrained as he fumbled with the controls of an emergency exit door as the Lufthansa plane flew from Frankfurt to Belgrade, the German airline said. Serbian authorities arrested the man, a Jordanian with an American passport, when the plane reached Belgrade. The crew and passengers who subdued him - which included members of a Serbian handball team - kept the man restrained for the rest of the flight. Passengers told Serbia's public broadcaster RTS that the suspect got up mid-flight, banged on the cockpit door and demanded he be allowed in. He threatened to bring down the plane and cried out that he wished to join Allah along with all the passengers, according to RTS. The incident happened as the plane was flying over Austria, reports said. "A passenger got up and read full story here : www.rollinggist.com/2015/12/man-tries-to-open-plane-door-mid-flight.html |
Religion / Muslim Thrown Off Coach Bus After Passengers Said He ‘appeared Deceitful’ by binoosmart(m): 11:05pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
A man who appeared to be Muslim was thrown off a National Express Coach Bus after women passengers complained he 'looked shifty' – and complained about him. The man was escorted off the London-bound service before it departed in Bristol. One passenger said a group of women sitting at the front of the coach had been 'making their feelings very obvious' and were 'silent and staring at him.' One of the women spoke to the driver and seconds later a member of National Express staff escorted the man off the half-empty coach at Bristol bus station. Another passenger on the 10.30am Bristol to London service on Thursday then THANKED the women and told them they had also felt uncomfortable. Student Rebekah Makinde said she was 'truly appalled' at what appeared to be a clear case of Islamophobia. Rebekah, 21, said: 'As soon as he got on the coach, the women at the front were just silent and staring at him. They were making their feelings very obvious. 'As soon as the man sat down, one of the women went to speak to the driver. Another member of staff then came on and asked the man to get off. 'He didn't protest or anything, he just got off. What disgusted me the most was that someone actually thanked the woman after he left.' Rebekah said she asked the driver why the man had been asked to leave – and was told it was because he wouldn't put a printer he was carrying in the storage hold. She added: 'It's ridiculous. Everyone had luggage with them on the coach, I had bags and my laptop on my seat next to me and nobody said anything about that. A National Express spokesman said: 'National Express staff responded to a number of complaints from customers regarding a fellow passenger's bulky luggage and electrical equipment. 'In trying to resolve the issue quickly, as the service was running late, the customer agreed to catch the next available coach. When he was asked to store the luggage in the hold he refused and walked out of the coach station.' Source : www.ebiraland..co.ke/2015/12/muslim-thrown-off-coach-bus-after.html |

Google Drive's austere interface can trick you into thinking what you see is all you get. But it's actually packed with powerful productivity features that aren't immediately apparent. And we've gone back 2 uncover even more. Here are five you probably aren't using, but should be. 2, Drag-and-drop files Normally when you want to upload a file to Google Drive, you go hit the big red New button, select File upload, and then navigate the folders on your computer to grab the file you need. To quickly upload files to Drive, drag them into the file list. Here's a simpler way: Just drag the file(s) from Windows Explorer or the MacOS finder into your Google Drive file list. Google's drag-and-drop icon will appear and you'll see a progress bar showing you the upload status. 1, Bookmark "quick creation" links Here's another shortcut, and one that doesn't even require you to open Google Drive. If you want to create a new word document, spreadsheet, or slideshow, you can do it from any browser window by using "quick creation" links. Drag the following links to your browser toolbar, and click the appropriate one whenever you want to start a new project: Document: https://docs.google.com/document/create Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/ spreadsheets/create Presentation: https://docs.google.com/ presentation/create 4. Search by sender Google's collaboration capabilities probably have you working on a number of shared documents at any given time. But it can be hard to keep tabs on who sent you which doc, and what spreadsheet you're working on with whom. Scrolling through hundreds of documents in the Shared with me folder isn't an option when you're In a hurry. At those times, type the collaborator's name or email address in Drive's search bar, and within seconds you'll have a list of every document you're collaborating on with that person. The notes were found floating down the river in Vienna on Saturday, leading one passer-by to jump in and salvage the money.
