FamilyRe: My Husbands Appearance by bintab(f): 12:25am On Mar 21, 2012
chaircover: learn to bite your tongue and stop making an issue out of it. He is most probably deliberatly doing it just to prove a point + ego so just pretend that it doesnt bother you by ignoring him but subtly taking action.

Take control of his wardrobe. Throw out or give away the "tired" looking clothes.
I throw my husbands tired clothes away and I will even be helping him look for them embarassed grin so much easier that way than to fight over something not even worth fighting for.

If you dont have a washing machine always have a bucket of sopay water in your bathroom and when he comes back from work just immerse the dirty clothes into the water. Next morning he will have no choice but to wear something else. Or you can hide the dirty clothes until you can give them to a washerman to wash/dryclean.

Try and lay out clothes for him that he will wear the next day and take charge of making/buying his cloths. Just say something like someone brought things to your office to sell and you decided to buy him a few shirts cos you know he will look good in them.

When he does look good compliment him rather than nag him when he looks rough. He sounds like another big baby, that God has blessed us with and so has to be treated like one sad

I note you say that he is good in other areas so please try and play down the areas that he is not so good in. I wish we all could find perfect husbands but sadly there arent any & we make the best out of the ones that we have cool grin
Girl, i feel you..same here,i'm an expert when it comes to dispose old stuff.. my hubby is part time hoader..lol.

If she loves herself, she should concentrate on herself and her child and stop attracting bullies to her life while exposing herself to all kinds of diseases out there. If she is looking for someone to give her a "V" job, she should go and buy one of those cross-eyed Chi-wa-was. . . . cut off all it's teeth and take it with her to her bed with her every night for a gooooooooood licking! That is what all these lonely 'oyinbo' women do. . .with their cats and dogs without looking at any man for MANY years. They live longer without diseases and all these emotional turbulences. FamilyRe: Please How Do I Go About Adoption In Nigeria? by bintab(f): 8:30am On Mar 07, 2011
ifyalways:
Foster-parent is a person who acts as parent and guardian for a child in place of the child's natural parents but without legally adopting the child. You as the foster parent, takes care of everything abt the children(shelter, food, education, health, clothing etc).
In your case,in as much as u want to help but for the fact that the "mother" of those kids are alive,it wud be advisable to foster them.
Btwn,u can still take them to the states legally without necessarily adopting them.
Again, are u married?cos if u are single and thinking of adopting legally in Nigeria
. . . .you are in for a very lonnnng thing.
i think it is more wise to adopt them from my own experienced by that you can make any decision on them while they are here without the nosy of the government or some other organisations and more also they will be entiltle to all  your benefits including insurance and the rest.

I think nurses are really funny; they like to play a second fiddle and end up complaining about being marginalized by doctors. I am a registered nurse with over 15 years practical experience; so I know what am talking about.

I set up a website for nurses (http://www.africannursesforum.com) and went about announcing it to all my friends before it was launched; I even opened a page on facebook. But only few nurses saw the need to interact. Today, other people are taking advantage of the forum to advertise their businesses while the nurses remain incommunicado.

I would be glad if those of you here could help to make that forum interactive so we have new hope for the African nurse once again.
http://www.africannursesforum.com
I THINK YOU ARE ONE OF THE FUNNY  NURSES,Just got tru your website but cant see anything readable or excting. Back to the topic, i am a nurse practitioner working with the state of Virginia. Love my job the pay is good an average registered nurse makes  average of $32.00 dollar per hour in my state. i  am on salary and flex pay depending if i am wprking on calls.i work precisely for U.S  Navy.

FamilyRe: My Wedding Was Stoped By My Husband Because Of His Friend's Death by bintab(f): 7:00am On Jul 17, 2010
mutter:
jennykadry, I wonder just how young you are to give such advice because it sounds like the advice of a kid. Sorry no offence meant.
@ poster. This man is already your husband legally so the church wedding has nothing to do with a display of his love but is more like a religious obligation, the seeking of Gods blessing for the marriage.
When you saw how devastated your husband was you should have stood by him and felt his pain and been a bit more sensitive to his needs.
All you were interested in is ,"the show must go on". I don`t blame you because you were thinking of the costs. Well this is all part of our attitude in Nigeria of always celebrating the big way. traditional, then court then church. There must be a way of bringing them all together to save costs. A young couple should be more interested in having money to build up a new home and not feeding the whole world at a wedding function.
Marriage is about tolerance and compromise you need to learn that and it takes time. If you had stood to your husband the guests would have reacted differently and it would not have been a public disagreement but a called of wedding. I think you need to apologise to your husband too. You hurt him more.
The slap was out of provocation and pain and so can easily be excused. I hope he has not done this before though.
You need to be careful not to let this situation arise again because it might became a habit and then the beating could became more intensive.
I dont have more to tell you than What Mutter already wrote. Please find it in your heart to forgive him.He was defintely in pain that no one here or even yourself can understand. Individual way of handling crises is different. i am sorry he slapped you, hope that will not happened again,he must have been a good person for you to had decided to marry him and even getting pregnant for him. May the spirit of God guide you in your decision.

mutter:
What a loss! She is now at home with the Lord your little daughter. I think the first Poster said it all.
What I would add is how this child would feel knowing she was named after her late sister?
For that reason you might consider not doing it because she might live in the shadow of that name. You know the child you had was so special and no other child can replace her. The joy of this baby will bring happiness into your life.
This is the advise i have for you too.I am deeply sprry for your loss.

Are Nigerians the only ppl who default on hospital bills? Abeg!! angry
They are not the only people who sometimes defaulted their bills, as i stated earlier, that is my own view. And if you have someone who have thesame plan, please do encourage them to be available to pay their bills . Cheating is not smart it will only create a bad image,my 2 cents.
