There is alot of job opportunities for her especially in general hospitals and adequately equiped private hospitals in Lagos though i cannot readily give names it's been a while,My worry is only the pay,she will definitely not be satisfy or be very disappointed on how much they offers for the job position in Naija compare to where she had worked. Wish her all the best anyways.

FamilyRe: They Want Him To Marry A Dead Girl by bintab(f): 9:59am On Apr 10, 2009
@poster,it amazed me this can happened at this era,if they refused him to marry her when she was alive why in the world will they now want him to marry her when she is dead. This is absolutely devilish wether custom or tradition. The guy or his family should never consented to such aggreement.Marriage is communion between the living and not between the dead and living. Any  sort of consent wether it invoved the guy indirectly with only the use of material things(money included)or directly with him physically present shoud be vehemently refused,it means a covenant i dont care how other people sees it. One life  to live .For the kids, they will grow and will definitely hear this story.I am sure they will not blame their father for not marrying their mum in death the consequent is to great.
the pain varies depending on the woman, some women have it easy, while for others it is not something they can describe.

depending on where you reside, whenever it is your time you can always opt for epidural, it is the best choice, no pain at all ( now who wouldn't want that?)

my friend when she was pregnant she had epidural, and she was watching the movie Home alone, and she didn't know when the baby popped out!
Still some people still experienced a lot of pain even with 2 or 3 doses of large amount of epidural,it depends on individual pain threshold, And some will have it and fell so numb they will not be able to push.My advise is for the poster to go for birth classes, review all the options avaiables for yuo to deal with the pain, choose the one that suites you and the baby most, good luck.

i hope u have a lot of soap and water for masturbation,if u r male, cos im sure you wouldn't be needing sex from a woman, afterall its not exciting having d opposite sex wt u

@topic

for one,men love sex, two. they r smtimes lazy and prefer leaving things for the women, three.there comes a time in a man's life that he gets tired of cooking and requires d services of a wife or GF , four. they need so much words of advice from their wives

lastly when i said life is going to boring, its true, cos a man will surely get tired if he has to come back to an empty house wtout a girlfriend or wife ,he surely will get tired of hanging with friends everyday or getting himself involved in other things

he surely needs a change, now thats where woman comes in

Sex is not what makes a person to be complete. It is just a choice in life that is why we have faithful reverend sisters and Fathers, (magomago aside sha)The cores of the house can be done by anybody not necessary a woman or man. Also the company of a good friend not necessary a wife can warm your home and life.I have met men in their late 70s tha were nevr married and no regret.
yes i think they can and they do. marriage doesn't complete anybody contrary to the popular myth, it is only a person who can complete themselves.

If one think they need to be half of a couple to be all of who they are, they're engaging in "wrong thinking." one don't need to be half of a couple to be complete.

single life just like marriage is also a vocation.
True talk my sister.100% in ageement.

This thing called sex has become a two edged sword in the society. It is either for the better or for the worse, just like marriage.
The aspect of fun is overtaking the productivity equation. Hmm.

Yes, I agree that it sure takes two to tango.
The truth is, If they are no buyers, they won't be sellers; and if they are no sellers, they won't be buyers. That is to say, there is always a man/woman willing to snatch or be snatched in every tango. grin grin

True words, Tpia. Any master criminal who has managed to steal and hide away 16 billion US dollars cannot be classified as "powerless", irrespective of where they roam on planet earth. Calling Obasanjo powerless is wishful thinking at its most impotent.

My sister,i read ur story and i did wept for you because i cannot imagine what you are going tru, Anyways it is too late to cry over a spilled milk.I will not endorsed divorce no matter what because what God has joined together let no man should put asunder. Take all this burden to God in prayers ,do not seek friends (born again or not ) and pastor to pray for you , Go on your knees yourself and seek God face for solution. .All advise and counsels of human never works when it comes to marriage for reasons no one can explaines. Do not let this evil behaviour of this brother make faith withers in God. It is o.k to let your daddy knows what you are going tru as theis will lift ur mind when you share a problem. Cheeers

CultureRe: Solve The Nigerian Problem By Banning Our Local Languages. by bintab(f): 8:56am On Mar 09, 2009
@topic, you kinda make sense but we all know it's not going to happen. And for y'all saying language is the least of Nigeria's problem, you are so wrong. Ethnocentrism is one of the biggest problems Nigeria faces. I come across topics belittling one ethnic group or the other on a regular basis here on nairaland.

I also think it's totally unfair that some people's language are regarded as not among the 'main' languages of the country. Why are igbo, yoruba, and hausa the only main languages? There would be some level of equality if everyone speaks the same language, then one group wouldn't feel better than the other. But anyways, it will be a miracle if it happens.

This is actually food for thought.

In short i am very happy and proud of this brave woman who out smart this OLE called police woman, imagine standing in front of a car trying to stopped it with her skinny butt. It is a shame what these people will make  naija citizen go thru when they see you driving .I have a bitter experience last year Aug.2008 when i visited naija, they stopped us at every junction and demanded for money even with the presentation of all the papers they demanded . shey na paper we go look, abeg give us something  o, we no say you no be from hia , Sis. wetin you bring come for us, Drop something or else oga go vex, Iya mi e ju le jo, Some even threaten to take the vehicle to their station.I was pissed and at thesame very afraid as i have heard a lot of horrible stories  of people  getting shot by police because you can see that some of them are intoxicated. Nigeria police still have a long way to go,they scare, threat and abuse fellows citizen .May be with some of these exposions help cub  some of them you never can tell.I know if that police woman is shown those pics, she will be embarrass and will not want her family members sees them.It is a Big lesson.
