IGoComotYaTeeth:You dont have to tell me that. Buh the southerners use the word aboki to insult us northerners and its now a norm. Now you tell me, why dont you call Yoruba and Igbo ppl "friend" in their lang? Why only Hausa ppl? Northerners to be exact |
ibkayee:Okay |
Sorry for that. Buh Yasin is not among the surahs we recite before we sleep. Instead recite Ayaatul Kursiyy,Suratul Naas, Falaq and Suratul Ahad three times before you sleep. You go dey alright in sha Allah |
zeyt:What baffles me most is when they be living amongst us and be insulting us...... Igbo ppl in particular. When they post them to some parts of the north you hear some of them them saying “i am here to stay” |

*_A Reminder Benefits the Believers_* Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "There are seven whom Allah will shade with the shade of His [throne] on the day when there will be no shade except the shade of His [throne]", from them: "A man who remembers Allāh in private and his eyes well up with tears." [Saheeh al-Bukharee]Hafiz ibn Rajab, stated regarding the above, "This is a man who fears Allah in secret, he is conscious of Allah when he is alone, and the best of deeds is to fear Allah in secret and openly. And the fear of Allah when alone emanates from strong emaan (faith), and striving against the soul and desires. For desires allure a person to sins when alone, for this reason it was said; _"from the rarest of things is the fear of Allah in secret."_ "The remembrance of Allah includes remembering the greatness of Allah, His seizing (of the evil doers), His requital (for sins) and His punishment, and the crying that emanates from this is the crying of fear of Allah. And remembrance of Allah also consists of remembering the beauty of Allah__(by way of His beautiful names and lofty attributes), His perfection, His kindness, His benevolence, His miracles (which He bestows upon) His allies with various types of kindness and benevolence, and especially seeing Him in Paradise. The crying that stems from this is the weeping of yearning and longing to meet Allah. And this also includes, a man who remembers that Allah is with him (by way of His knowledge, seeing and hearing) wherever he is, so he remembers Allāh encompasses and is close to him (by way of His knowledge, hearing, seeing, power etc), and observes him wherever he is, so he cries out of shyness of Him." [Fath al-Baree fee sharh Saheeh al-Bukharee, vol.4, pg.50, Dar ibn al Jawzee print, 1st edition] ```Today being the Blessed day of Friday, let us make excessive duaa and send abundant Salaat & Salaam on Nabee صلى الله عليه وسلم.``` اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّد. Allahumma salli wa sallim 'alaa nabiyyinaa Muhammadin May Allaah accept it from you and us.. Aamiin Allaahu l-Musta'aan |
Polygyny is making some sisters go crazy in their attitudes and actions. Recently a married sister told me that she would have gone deep into black magic to influence her husband against her co-wife if not for the several admonitions by her Ustaz warning her not to commit shirk. She then went ahead to narrate the story of a friend of hers who became the "Queen" of the house after seeking supernatural powers to secure preferential treatments over other wives. She said she would have emulated her misguided friend if not for the fear instilled in her heart against committing shirk by her Ustaz. Just few days ago we heard of the true story of a sister in full jilbaab, who wanted to prevent her husband from taking a second wife. She carried some ritualistic food (ebo) to the junction of three major roads. As she was about crossing the road back she was hit by a car and died instantly! . There was the story of a muslimah who decided to join the membership of witches in her area in her bid to fight spiritual battles with the incoming new wife of her husband and to punish her for coming to share her husband with her. The new wife was escorted with ruqyah prayers in the vehicle taking her to her husband's house immediately after nikah. Perhaps the most pathetic was the case of the woman who used black magic to command the proposed wife of her husband to walk away into the bush and never to return. What the witchdoctors refer to as "alo ramirami". She decided to go for hajj to seek repentance but on getting to the masjidul haram in Makkah she couldn't see the Ka'aba then she burst into tears to confess her sins to her friends but it was too late as Allah didn't accept her repentance. These are few examples of how some of our sisters are sacrificing their hereafter because they desire to have their husbands to themselves alone. Sisters should beware of this kind of evil obsession or possessiveness that can make them to commit shirk brazenly and end up in the hell fire. There is nothing to gain in this transient world that is worth losing your hereafter for. May Allah save us from the evils in our hearts and the evils of our actions. Amin.
