Tonight was a taste of Louisiana with some good ol' Creole dishes. Shrimp Etoufee with Blackened Grouper and homemade garlic bread. I used wheat bread because of hubby and shrimp broth and Creole seasoning that I make in bulk and freeze.

Pardon me, what's dambun nama?

Its called beef floss or chicken floss in English
This is beef floss tho, its made by cooking meat until tender,pound it and use your hand to separate it into thin pieces. It is then fried with a little oil and atimes no oil. If youre to fry it with oil, youll have to add seasonings and spices to the oil before you add the already pounded beef or chicken, some people dont add seasonings when frying cuz they've already added it during the cooking. You'll fry it until its dried and crispy. Shikenan!

There are of two types sha, there's the one that looks like thread(just like mine), and the one that looks like cotton wool and it feels like cotton candy in the mouth.

You can eat it like that, with bread or even use it to make snacks like meat pie.

Going by the Arabic!

Every Muslim according to Allah will FIRST enter the Fire of Hell before Allah will now accept their ransome

ALL Muslims will enter the Fire of Hell until they are finally ransomed.

Quran 19 :71 Abbas - Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(There is not one of you but shall approach it) there is not a single one of you, to the exclusion of prophets and messengers, save that he will enter it, i.e. hell. (That is a fixed ordinance of your Lord) it is a decree that must necessarily take place.


Qur'an 19.71 Jalal - Al-Jalalayn
There is not one of you but shall come to it, that is, [but] shall enter Hell. That is an inevitability [already] decreed by your Lord, [something which] He made inevitable and [which] He decreed; He will not waive it.


Qur'an 19.71-72 Kathir - Ibn Al Kathir
Everyone will be brought to Hell, then the Righteous will be saved
Ibn Jarir reported from `Abdullah that he said concerning Allah's statement,

All Muslims are entering Hell Fire!

Quran 19:72 -
Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees."


You will first Enter the Fire: this is inevitable for you ma. How long will you stay in the fire?
Could it be a deception that you will thereafter be saved!?

For the ingredients
- Groundnut 1cup (grind half of it and keep half)
- Sesame 1 cup
- Sugar (to your taste)
- Butter 125g
- Flour 2 cups
- Baking powder half tsp(opt)
Method
In a bowl,cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in Sesame,grinded Groundnut and flour, Mix gently. Keep in a polythene bag for an hour or 2. Roll it on a baking sheet and put on a baking tray ( you can use cookies cutter too) using your hands, dip the left Groundnut into the rolled batter and cut into your desired shape. Bake until golden brown...
