coogar: hahahaha sisikill, but it's not the same. let's look at the extremes of infidelity in both cases. the worst that can happen to the man is knocking one of his girlfriends up and having a baby out of wedlock. in the woman's case - if she gets pregnant from one of her lovers, she would name her husband as the father of the bastärd!
i ask again - are the 2 cases the same? i get why some men wil do DNA test for their kids They DOnt wanna raise no others man's kid I aint that baby's daddy.. sometimes i sit and wonder how can i father another man's son- wyclef |

coogar: which is exactly what i have done - she's a fat hypocrite! well... If a man sows fidelity, let him by all means reap same, but no errant guy should start expecting to reap flowers where he sowed banana abeg it does not always work like that though women will like it for thunder and brimstone to fall i know a guy that took his wife in after she messed up maybe due to the kids... but he is an exception will i do same.. i dont know Do i expect my wife to leave me if i transgress.. she may she may not God knows but i dont want to try it I have a question for the women in the house Are these sins the same to yo, rate in order of 'worst-ness' 1. A man has a fling once 2. A man has a steady mistress and does not neglect his home duties 3. A serial philanderer like the man in the post Will you throw away your marriage because of these |

coogar: ileobatojo's long-winded missive is filled with hypocrisy.
she cannot judge this woman because if the woman's conscience is right with what she's doing then who is ileoba to judge her? this would have been a good point ha ileoba not judged hundreds of men in the past with the same infidelity act.
what peeves me about this section is the bias against the men. when a man misbehaves, nobody tends to blame his partner for it. he's a man and he should shoulder his responsibilities. however, when a woman misbehaves - the accusing finger points straight to her husband. all manners of excuses and conjectures would be thrown in the air. the husband must have done something to make the wife misbehave is just a truckload of bullshyte!
whatever this means has be reconfigured and directed to every human being older than me in your household. i know it's a blessing so consider it a privilege! well maybe she has an history of judging men harshly but we have to judge her based on her post today I agree with this statement It is not right for society to expect women to be the moral compass while men throw caution to the winds However the reality is that when women commit adultery the impact is felt much more through out the society hence the seeming unforgiving stance towards the women folk It still does not justify either gender |

ileobatojo: Imagine the hypocrisy. The man has slept with more girlfriends than she has changed her weaves yet she is the one getting called names.
I wonder who made woman the sole moral compass in a relationship. So the man is free to be as immoral as possible but the woman must remain pure and holy under any circumstance. She is not a human being too right? The man is made of flesh and blood while she is a tin robot not so?
This is a marriage that is now one purely in name. The husband is unrepentant and has said she is free to leave anytime meaning he doesn't care whether he's married to her or not. Why he can't grow some balls and just kick her out I don't know. Whatever his reasons which he has a right to, she also has a right to her own reasons for deciding to stay married to him. If anything, that's what we should be discussing, how society and the presence of children make women stay in dead marriages.
Shebi the man is the head of the home? So his subject is now following his lead shikena! Next time he should lead by better example.
Is she wrong, yes. Would I do the same? Probably not. I think a clean break would be best too. But will I judge her like some dumb sheep following some useless two faced culture? Hell no!!
If she feels like she has the liver to do it and she feels she has romantic needs that she will never obtain from her husband and doesn't want to live the remaining 40 something years of her married life sad, depressed, lonely and yearning for something better, if her own conscience doesn't judge her for her course of action then who am I to judge her?
Far as I can see,she tried to fix things with the hubby but since he refused, she has chosen an option that works for her. There is no law that says the woman must remain the moral compass of a marriage in the face of all manners of sh*it!! Until there is equal condemnation for both people's actions in our society then I say kudos to her!! This post killed it! JUDGED!! slimyem: Is this not the same section where the men want to crucify divorced women for not trying hard enough to keep the marriage and when they want to hear the other side of the story to justify her reasons for leaving?
Your man cheats, you leave him for it-you are crucified! Your man cheats, you do the same-you are crucified too!
Your man cheats, you endure, pray, "scabash" and remain unhappy for the most part of your life, you are a good woman who keeps her home.
If whichever ways, one's fried so why not just let everyone make a choice that best suits them? Its sad really the double standards ..... Men have justified cheating but refuse to entertain their spouses doing same Its a mans world My take.. If you marry in a monogamic sense, then cheating on your spouse is to be condemned if you are a polygamist and your wife is aware, then cheating on your man is wrong |

But they (Access Bank) have to have a stronger fidelity to their customers, just like Fidelity Bank.
If they show such fidelity, their profitability will reach the skies, just like Skye Bank.
With such huge profits, they will reach the zenith of their financial environment, just like Zenith Bank. c fc funny guy |

maclatunji: Nope! That is not the intent of this thread. There is this pervasive notion that Nigerian men aren't faithful in marriage, it is probably true to a large extent. However, women don't get similar perception. Interestingly, it is becoming quite obvious that infidelity amongst Nigerian married women is also quite high. I want to test this hypothesis.
This is not to castigate anybody but just to understand a trend in our society. If you agree with my hypothesis, give your reasons, if you disagree give your reasons.
If you want to talk about infidelity in marriages from both perspectives, you can create another thread for that.
Thank you. Hmm fair enough since your motive is not to compare the genders or start a gender war I have only two examples of possible infidelity involving a maRried woman so this is new to me - one was with another married man - one with a single guy There may be more because the ladies termed runz babes may actually be married I am here to learn also |

My team only does legal things and only can do legal things,' he said.
'We are so pure and so naive that Lewandowski scored four goals and we didn’t foul him even once. They (Dortmund) fouled Cristiano (Ronaldo) five times as soon as the game began.
'How can you play 90 minutes and not commit a foul on a player who scored four goals?'
Mourinho expressed reservations about the team’s chances of qualifying for the final, but still believes it is possible if they learn from their mistakes.
'I respect the history of this club but I never like to be in this situation, especially with a scoreline like that, when you start 1-4 behind. It’s difficult to mathematically justify that we have a chance,' he said.
'I want my team to play with mental strength,' he said. Mourinho quoting from Wenger's book - mental strength They will hack Lewandowski There will be blood |
Family › Re: How Well Do You Know Your Children? by biolabee(m): 9:32am On Apr 30, 2013 |
greatgod2012: Now, for those who care to know, i have gotten the full gist today..............
What really happened is that, truly, the girl who is 4years old and in K.G 2(also known as prenursery class) actually cried after her friend's mum, when she came to pick her child, and since the little girl refused to be pet, the woman suggested that the girl be released to her, that she would go with the two of them to wait for her daughter's friend in the administrative officer's office, so, one of the teachers in the class took them there and they were in the A.O's office waiting for the other mum, so, by the time the other mum was around, she just went into her girl's class directly, and she didnt see her daughter among her classmates, all effort to explain what happened to her fell into her deaf ears, she was just screaming, and that was the time i got there to pick my own children, so, all i was just hearing is "why will you allow my kid to leave the class". Not until when the girl, her friend and the friend's mum came with the school's A.O that the case was settled, but i had left before then, so that was why i thought they allowed the girl to follow her friend and her friend's mum. I think the mistake the teacher made was to have waited for the girl's mum at the gate and took her to the A.O office straightaway, instead of allowing the poor woman to come to her daughter's class, only for her not to meet her in the class with her classmates. And, i cant blame the woman. If its me too, i will react, abi, what do you think.
Now, i only used the scenario as an example, what about out older kids, pre-teens, teens and older kids, how well do you know them?i will appreciate if this is discussed, instead of the school/the teacher that made mistake. Thanks and may God help us all. Insecurity has made people paranoid Screaming and shouting from heaven to hell does not solve the problem So the missing child was still in the school premises The situation was not even as chronic as it sounded at first However the teached should not have released the kid on no account |
