steady986:There is wisdom in what Olajuwon used to do - stay far away from news media. If you are going to consume all news media, then you have to grow thick skin and take the high road. Even folks like Lebron who look like they on twitter all the time actually are not - they have managers on their account and they tweet strategically to help their business. |
Roland17:Same reason I did NOT pick them. They CANT have a healthy rotation. |
Tibs, upon all your defense, na on top your head dem hang 3pt record. See your life? Free Kemba before a worse thing happens to you ![]() |
steady986:I still rank them above Lakers. Any team that is not Suns or Warriors needs to be scared |
Sabonis reminds me of Tim Duncan. These pacers are a disciplined ball club |
steady986:even more remarkable is that he is maintaining at about the same size. Its easier for guards to keep their body longer. big forwards and centers tend to deteriorate quickly. When I see Lebron with a bottle of some liquor on the sidelines, I feel like he is just advertising. I doubt he drinks that much or eats junk. You have to be insanely disciplined to keep your body like that approaching 40. |
steady986:when your "alpha male" no wan step up. Na their way tho - Gen Z continuing to dissappoint fathers and grand fathers everywhere ![]() If na to tweet or tiktok now, I know AD has a mean game |
Roland17:I believe so. One good thing about Morey was all the crazy round2 round3 draft picks he traded for before he left, must have felt like a game of monopoly to him. And I feel Stone is savvy enough to trade some of those picks for some solid pieces. Besides that, coach Silas isnt buying into the tanking agenda, because it negatively affects his own value. I really hope Green does not become another gunner like A40 was alluding to. Cat needs to let the game come to him, instead of shooting himself out of the game. |
steady986:I went to look up lordbeans, because the way he attacked you, it sounded very personal ![]() After what I found on another thread, steady, you don enter one chance bruv. I be praying for ya ![]() lordbeans: |
A40:what is the official word on his death? supposedly he has been having seizures for a while. If it turns out the game is a direct contributor to his demise, its going to be bad rep for the NFL |
Roland17:I think I missed that. In any case Silas na good guy so its nice to see the pressure around his neck loosen a bit. |
A40:Unfortunately, a lot of the wins have coincided with Jalen Green, the heir apparent, being injured. Which is raising questions. Do we let him keep playing his 30mins per game when he comes back and lose a lot, or reduce minutes for the rookie to let him grow and we win more. Because it is now obvious Silas does know his Xs and Os. |
A40:CJ and Beal are not worth the consideration, just to be blunt. There are levels to this. Giannis stayed in one place and built a team that won a ring, the old fashioned way. So the only cats I would only pay attention to what they say are the Lebrons, Durants, Currys, Shaqs etc. And I havent heard any talking head disparage Giannis since the championship. They may not talk about him as much, but those are due to the reasons I mentioned before |
steady986:Kneel down, close your eyes and raise your hands. |
Roland17:I finally saw Luka. Wow, that is soooo unprofessional |
Khanben:100% agreed. Unfortunately I dont think AD even has the motor to get offended |
steady986:Im happy about the tribute vid to Harden. It was fun while it lasted. Maddening many times, but fun. |
steady986:As in keeping composure, staying in the game and not getting blown out. We have a really young team that gets star struck when they see superstars on other teams. At this point, we just want them to execute on a nightly basis without falling apart. On any given night, any of the lottery teams has a shot at upsetting a powerhouse. We beat the Bulls to start this win streak. We are not even looking at playoffs right now ![]() |
Roland17:I havent watched him since he came back from injury. He has always been on the bulky side though, so I can imagine it must be bad if fast breaks become an issue. Interestingly Zion has the same quandry. He really doesnt want to lean down, as it might affect his power game. But lean is def the way to go, less injuries, last longer |
Rockets have had an easy schedule, so no one is really talking about a 6 game win streak. After all we lost 15 straight at one point. But the X-Os have improved, and tonight is a good test against the Nets. And welcome home Harden, get yourself some real TexMex down here. Those NYC burritos are rubbish, and you know it ![]() |
Roland17:That size gives him a lot of confidence against bigger players, and it really is part of his game. |
darkelf:make una take am easy na, small comment you brought out machete ![]() |
Hohenheim:I wanted to respond, then I was like, let him enjoy his ignorance and save my energy ![]() |
steady986:yup. wont withstand a 7 game series |
Khanben:Some of them are unfortunately. Even among the pros, not all of them are professionals. Some rely mostly on skill, and will never really get to the next level - they are comfortable with stat lines and contracts. What has CJ improved in? Some people's hate are not even worth the energy. Its not that they dont respect his skill. Its that he is not in the clique. If these are who you are referring to, meh, no biggie |
Roland17:Indeed, you are spot on. I hope we dont count our eggs before they hatch and trade him away thinking we have something better. He could very well be our #1 option over Jalen Green. |
benji93:Right now Warriors are a one man crew. If you calm Curry down, you can beat them. Suns have multiple weapons that secure a win on any night. If Klay was healthy and has his legs, he could take some heat off of Curry come playoffs. But I dont think he will get his legs back to that extent this year. Its ok if you believe otherwise ![]() |
Khanben:like who? I mean serious guys o, not cj mccollum, dinwiddie and fellow clowns. I mean among guys like SAS, TNT crew, Fox crew etc |
Roland17:I follow Rockets very avidly. I want to see Silas have the freedom of 2 more seasons with these guys and Im ok with tanking this season as well to get another good draft pick. It feels terrible to be at the bottom of the standing right now (we are actually worse than Thunder), but we have a talented core already that will surprise people in a few. They just need some time outside the limelight, but you gon recognize these names in a bit. Wood, Green, KPJ and Sengun are all-star material at the very least. |
donlittle25:lol, no mind roland17. No one even knew I was a rockets fan until 2-3 years back, even though I have always followed Rockets more than any other team. That is because I am more moved by personalities than teams. I understand that teams are corporations at the end of the day, so I dont over sweat it. I am not bleeding red or green for any bagger that does not pay me a cent out of their billions . Thats just the way I roll |
benji93:The fact that this was a blowout means this game cannot be used to measure the suns strength. Na chess game o, and no one will show all their hands in the regular season. I think the Suns are more dangerous than the Warriors still. Klay hasnt played NBA ball in years. He is not going to make the impact people expect in the playoffs. Also remember the rule change that is hampering jump shooters. Players will be able to defend more Klay more aggressively |
