I have no issues with that Jokic foul, even though it was a cheap shot. Markieff had that coming - the way he fouled Jokic wasnt good either. Next time, you will give the big man his respect. |
steady986:Fixed it for you bros ![]() |
Roland17:I hope its true. This season no get joy, and its almost christmas time |
steady986:Durant is learning what Lebron has now learnt. Building a reliable team is harder than stacking your team with superstars. Especially with the new anti flopping rules, more superstars will realize the best way to build a team is like Bucks and Heat. Team chemistry and accountability will beat raw talent in a 7 game series. |
steady986:Didnt watch the game, but as expected, they lost to Thunder again, in the same disgraceful way. Please at WB's stats. We already know he can get his numbers and still the team will lose. |
steady986:119-117 vs Houston that cant shoot straight. Dont worry, OKC is back tonite, to give westbrick some soul food |
Roland17:yeap, these f**ls are on the road everyday, just endangering everybody. Cant count how many times I have narrowly missed accident with these guys doing 100mph in traffic jams by swerving across lanes. |
A40:This is the koko. Poverty is the secondary reason. But you cant discuss this in public otherwise you will be torn to pieces. Cosby tried to say something, Obama too tried, but the way folks attacked them. So everybody just keeps quiet. In my own opinion, a lot of these rage and craziness would not occur if there were fathers to mentor these cats the right way. Unfortunately, that cup of milk has already been spilt. |
steady986:He always said if Klay comes back, he would switch. I have been saying it since before season began that the Warriors are a bigger threat than anyone else in the West, including Suns. Folks though I was just trying to downplay Lakers and hype someone else. I have been proven correct. Meanwhile Westbrook remains an eternal bust, and Melo is even more useful than Westbrick. I also rated the Grizzlies and Nuggets aahead of Lakers, for which A40 and his crew tried to crucify me. Again, we have 3 weeks of stats showing I was more right than wrong. The Lakers DO NOT have a big 4. They have a big 2, one of whom is aging and the younger is too lazy to pick up the mantle. As I said before, the only hope they have of even competing is to play lockdown D. They have as assistant coach with that specialty, but we need to start seeing it in the PPG they hold teams to. I want to see them play a young Grizzlies team and hold them to under 100. Then I will know Lakers have a shot in the west. |
A40:This kind of senseless tragedy is very painful. What a waste of life! On the question you asked: Money is an amplifier, in a scary way many of us will never experience. We all think if we were in his shoes we wouldnt do such. But go check the lives of lottery winners if you want a taste of how destructive it can get. A 22 year old fresh out of poverty with a milli in cash sitting in the bank is a disaster looking for where to happen. And with that kind of money, no one will tell you no or caution you for fear of losing out of cash award. When you have that kind of money, you dont need to do something really bad. Just do your usual and your money will amplify it for you. On your solution to the problem: No matter how strict the sentencing gets, you cant stop this. Alcohol is a drug, just that its legal. and once it has impaired your judgement, you think less of the consequences. Most people are disciplined enough to know when to stop. But there is always that guy that cant stop. Just like how no matter how many bouncers and screeners you put in the club, there is always that guy that will fight. Alcohol has a subtle way of medicating pain, and you will never take away those type of DWIs. When I see Lebron's crew and how they managed that wealth and fame at a young age, with no father figure we know of, Im always in awe. Someone has to teach you these things, its not automatic. |
A40:He is the most productive on the team right now. AD is kinda lazy, he needs to step up and lead this team |
steady986:I should tweet this to Simmons, so he knows somebori in the world still loves him, other than moms and pops ![]() |
Roland17:Gonna be a ruff november, I see ![]() |
steady986:wetin I do. ![]() na ikemba and olylink I pick ooo, I no even look Simmons ![]() At least I picked melo off FA like last week. He is looking more valuable than Lebron right now. Make una free me, abeg ![]() |
Roland17:Forget it, I dont think Zion even has that mentality to care. I am very curious tho. they guys who called him the next Lebron, what did they see in him to make that pronouncement? And Ja is growing on me mehn. The way the guy has improved, you can tell this guy cares about the craft. I think that is the mystery about the draft. You can evaluate a players skills. But how do you evaluate a players mindset? To me, there was nothing on draft day that suggested Ja is more serious than Zion. Nothing. |
A40:Im happy for Trez on the real. Wizards are looking for #2, #3 scoring options to complement Beal. No other star to share time with, so you should get 30+ minutes a night as a starter. Beal alone can score enough to keep Wiz in the game, so they have a chance to win on any given night. This kind of situation comes like once in an NBA lifetime. If played right, they can get into the playoffs, make some noise and get a huge contract off of this. Of the 3, I suspect Trez is the most ready to take advantage.Kuzma tends to get lost as season progresses. |
Roland17:haba, I am a very forgiving person I wish him the best, for real. But I think the way he left houston will affect a lot of things for him. such is life |
A40:None of those 3 has been doing well until this last game. I was especially surprised because KCP looked like the most ready to take it to the next level. Lets see a couple of more games first. If all 4 (plus Beal) are scoring in double figures every night, the East has a new problem then. But I doubt it. Kuz is never focused enough. Trez cant drop 20 every night. |
benji93:I have forgiven him, truly. Its just that, sometimes I see the beard, and I just get this overwhelming desire to see him fail. But I have forgiven him ooo ![]() |
steady986:15pts? you are wicked ![]() |
A40:The NBA posted a series of tweets on the rule change before season started, and Harden was one of the examples they used on what the change meant. Which is why I stayed away from Harden in fantasy this year. I fully expected his scoring to drop by 10pts at least. Of course when my enemies picked him in round 1, I could not but laugh and thank my God ![]() |
benji93:papa benji, you just enter market dey shoot, I dont even think you know why you are shooting This is a comparison between Klay and Durant on the definition of generational player. So anything you have against Durant above, awhen applied to Klay, still makes Durant more of a generational talent than Klay. Continue to dey shoot o ![]() |
steady986:Westbrook is not the same caliber as Steph. Neither is Kyrie. Which is why in both cases, Durant was the primary focus of the defense. Even when playing with Steph, Durant was the primary focus. So at all 3 stages of his career, and in all 3 systems, KD has been the primary focus of the defense, and shot like no one was guarding him. That is the definition of generational talent. With no Kyrie and hobbled Harden, he took the champs to game 7. And he was one jump shot away from getting to the finals. What other proof do you need? |
steady986:I actually hate when Russ has games like this. Because it fuels his desire to chuck shots. We know he wont shoot 55FG% every night. Even with 33pts, his +/- was 1. The real takeaway imo is that Lakers defense need to be able to hold teams like the Spurs to a 100pts or less in regulation. This team is too old to play hero ball 3 to 4 times a week. Defense is the only way out for this team. |
steady986:KD is proven. Before and after Steph. He didnt get his accolades starting at the Warriors. And when KD played with Steph, he took the scoring load. So, we have plenty of evidence. What similar evidence do you have for Klay? Any that does not have Steph on the team? |
steady986:You dont have to be number 1 option. But we need to be able to evaluate you without the effects of a fellow superstar. If we cant do that, there is no point crowning anyone generational anything. You get the accolades for what you have done, not what we think you can do. If you are saying Klayis generational, what is Beal? Do you know what Beal will do on a team with Steph? We dont have to conjecture, as we have seen Beal under al defensive conditions. That is my point. |
KNIGHTBlaed:oga Hardetayour, pls answer d query ![]() |
DeeMain:Unfortunately, we havent seen the warriors being run by Klay, without Steph. It is one thing to be a great shooter. Its another thing to be able to get your shot when the defense is built to stop you. When Steph is on the court, the defensive pressure is never as great on Klay. There is nothing in Klays repertoire that suggests he can make those shots under defense geared to stop him at all cost. Furthermore, we have no evidence he can put his head down and slash to the rim like Durant, or dribble to the rim like Curry. If anything I think there is a little bit of overrating of Klay. Remember the series vs Cavs where they came back down 1-3? If Klay was as deadly as people now say, you would not need to go get a Durant the next season to help equalize vs a Lebron led team. At this point, we know Curry is legit generational talent. We are seeing him ball with all the defense geared to stop him. Unless Klay is put in that same situation for a season, any talk of him being generational is just conjecture. |
SmooshCHN: i don tell u make u dey enter church small, dey pray, u no gree |
anyone noticed KD's jumpshot is even better this year? In yesterday's game, I saw him several times pause while in the air, gauge the rim, and right before shooting he would arc his shot even higher. He is almost 7ft, which affords him the luxury of a brief pause while in the air, because no one can block that. I have to think this is something he worked on this offseason. It will be interesting to see what his shooting stats look like this year. |
joshboo:welcome back! |
All the "hanalysts" that have been saying Nets can win without Kyrie, I am interested to see the about turn tomorrow ![]() |

You and forgiveness no suppose dey the same sentence. See irony! You have forgiven him but you have an overwhelming desire for him to fail..
